- Sadly, a comet or meteor did not strike the ACC last night. The Laffs humiliated (?) the Bs though, with Rask getting pulled early in the 2nd after sucking like the suckiest suck who ever sucked. On the worse side, Kessel is now the greatest scorer in NHL history after scoring 2G, in the Laffs' 6-1 win. Clod: "We just stunk the joint out";
- Some night we should all stay up and watch a West coast game because apparently they're having fun out there. We missed a thrilling comeback barnburner, with the Ducks beating the Kings 6-5 in a SO. Darryl Sutter: "It was just a good pond hockey game";
- Vegas, baby!
- One stupid broken hand and fighting should be banned forever.
~~~
A second set of bullet points for what you might miss while preparing your fancy dinner / calling for pizza / dieting à la 29 prior to the game...
- 7:30 PM start. The game looks to be on Sportsnet360 and RDS. Damned if I can keep track of the hockey broadcast roulette;
- One of my favourite blog names has always been Days of Y'Orr. Beaners can be clever on occasion, who knew?
- Habs on a 3-game win streak after some tough times there for a while;
- Bs were on a 6-game win streak (ugh ugh ugh) before last night. Don't forget when they lose again tonight it's the NHL's fault because the schedule makers are out to get the Bs by forcing them to play back to back games, because no one else has to play back to back games;
- Habs are 0 for their last 22 on the PP. On the plus side, we're not last in the league somehow;
- GonCH arrived last night, but no one knows if he's playing. CoaCH says they'll have some Starbucks this morning and talk about it. He's playing;
- The downtown adult entertainment establishments will be jammed with visiting Beaners after the game, so grab a cab and head up to Solid Gold.
~~~
29 is on the no sleep diet, thanks for the Morning skate 29. They are going to have to rush to get the bronze of Donut Boy done for Christmas. I have tripped over a can of comet many times. The best description of the difficulty was throwing a normal size dart from the north pole at the south pole and hitting a normal sized bullseye there. Never play darts with a Euro!
ReplyDeleteBetween Vodkov and GonCH we now have all the collective wisdom of Russian's defence. We could invade the Crimera if we wanted.
Go Habs Go!
Truth! I forgot to say Die You Fucking Bruins Die, I am not saying get Elboa, I was thinking more like a Zombie attack.
ReplyDeleteNice effort 29 and early too! I am soooooo glad I don't live anywhere near tranna this morning. I can only imagine how unbelievably sickening it must be. I don't even know what any other team bothers playing out the season - just give 'em the Cup already...
ReplyDeleteSo - about tonite...Rask usually brings his A-game to the Bell - I can completely understand how he wasn't on form in that shithole they played in last night - no atmosphere and 20,000 fucking no-nothing leaf fans is nothing to look forward to. But I suspect he will be better tonight - and I expect the b's to be as dirty as usual. I am looking forward to seeing what GonCH brings to the PP, as I suspect the Habs might pick up a couple of opportunities tonight. Now someone tell me Timfuckingpeel and chisfuckinglee aren't anywhere near this game tonight...
Thanks for the Solid Gold performance 29! You really are old sCHool.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing missing was a stripper pole.
ReplyDeleteGood job 29.
I suspect the B's are gonna be in an ugly mood tonight.
An ugly mood? I am not one to pick on challanged people, but between Ratface and Pretzel Lucic they have half the cast for a new season of American Horror Show.
DeleteLuongo's version of a kardashian hockey poll:

Good job HF29!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of 29, he was on l'AC last night, (he was inducted into the Pantheon des sport du quebec along with Clara Hughes, Rusty Staub (http://www.pantheondessports.ca/pages.asp?id=968) hall of fame said TFS's career in Montreal started with ups and downs, it's very difficult being a goalie in Montreal but he overcame that, is strong, also strong mentally etc..
The b's are going to be full of piss and vineger tonight, man did they stink last night.
Go Habs Go!
Nice job, 29.
ReplyDeleteWhat gets me through the very rare occasions that the leaf do something good is reminding myself how much sweeter it'll be watching them crash down. Unfortunately their fans are so insufferably delusional they never really get the point. It's like mocking an idiot; it's fun and easy, but wears thin when you realize they truly do not get the joke.
GO HABS GO!
The leaf probably owe this win to the Habs anway. The broons were looking past them to tonight.
DeleteBy the way, starting yesterday hockey highlights on TSN are now not available on TSN. I only noticed because of the new auto play they have going on every article. Apparently they've never heard of VPNs.
ReplyDeleteIt's strange though because NBA, MLB and NFL videos were always banned here because, I assume, there is some agreement with some Korean broadcaster for those leagues. But the NHL? Those other ones yeah because of the American army. But trust me, no one is showing hockey. It must have something to do with Rogers, I guess. God forbid Koreans can see highlights of the NHL. No way to make money off that!
I wonder if KmaXXX has the same issue in England? Or did TSN get confused about which one was the bad Korea again.
DeleteO-Man - blocked in the UK, The US, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Germany - I use Zen-mate to mask my IP from time to time...and TSN doesn't like any of them. I'm not particularly bothered as it is a tranna led waste of resource that is never going to present much value to "hockey fans". leaf fans will love it but all others can most certainly find proper feed elsewhere. btw - if you do need to be somewhere you are not, Zenmate works a charm. I could never pick up Letterman feeds until I started using it and pretending I was 'merican...
DeleteAnd almost no one here watches hockey so I don't see the point of blocking it out either...I do website marketing for a living and I don't understand why they wouldn't want as many people as possible to watch their feeds...but then again - what do I know about tranna sports marketing anyway...fuck 'em - loads of better feeds available to you mate!!
DeleteKmaXXX for better or worse you live in the center of th financial universe. Or at least you wrork near the Ciity. For sure thyey do not care about hockey or anything that does not have the potentiel to profit worldwide.
DeleteI really do not care about the commercials my dick is beyond salvation. Lets play hockey and giving the player all these commerial breaks gives us better hockey. Lets slow down the pace and give to the true greats. We may not have been able in the past to keep up with these utes buth the commercials made GonCHar a necessity.
ReplyDeleteMax Pacioretty on his pass to Plekanec last night instead of scoring:"I don't want to be an empty net specialist anymore!" (4 last season)
ReplyDeleteMy Kardashian re butt
ReplyDeleteCHar will play tonight.
ReplyDeleteThx kids for the kudos! I was up early, but I'll have a nap before the game. I'm now on old man sleep patterns
ReplyDeleteGo CHar go!
I have neve eaten a CHar or a CHargo, but I have eaten some tough meat and I woulds have to say based upon that experice go with the tenderr and moist.

O'Halloran is the ref who called a bogus match penalty on Tinordi for an non-existent elbow to Smid's head. Let's see what he come up with tonight.
DeleteStill better than the aforementioned fucking options...I think...
DeleteWhen Mark Tinordi and Char were team-mates, Mark used to bring little 3-4 yr-old Jared Tinordi to the rink.
ReplyDeleteBruins announce they've recalled Alexander Khokhlachev on an emergency basis. That would indicate an injury of some sort.
ReplyDeleteFor sorting out the Habs broadcast roulette outside Quebec, here's a great full season schedule:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hockeyinsideout.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/habs-roc-schedule.pdf
ooh, that's pretty good, thx!
DeleteAlso, NHL.com's schedule is pretty good, they have the channels listed and are usually right
Here's the whole article, it's pretty good. I got sick of the shitty English broadcasts 10 games into the season so I shelled out $60 for the French season package (I'm in Toronto). This overrides the regional blackouts and gave me my RDS back.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hockeyinsideout.com/news/breaking-down-how-to-watch-habs-on-tv-this-season
Someone printed this for me a while back and when I tried to find it myself, I wasn't able to find it. Thanks.
DeleteI only watched other stations when the game was not on RDS, The last game I did was on hnic, I forget which Hab got a tripping penalty, but they didn't even show a replay of it. I can't say I ever remember RDS not showing a reply on any penalty regardless which team was sent to the box, I don't know if hnic usually does this?
DeleteThe French broadcasts are just better. If I was in TO I;d shell out the $60 too
DeleteKessel's goal that went to the bench first.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbS05-zJR_E
Back to TMS and 29's comment on the West...I just watched the condensed game between the ducks and the Kings - it was pretty damm exciting. Don't they play afternoon games out west? I would be up for watching a game or two...or maybe I will just stick to the condensed highlights package...
ReplyDeleteJust the highlights were incredible
Deleteinsidreger: "Gonchar deal makes financial sense and not much else, tells the guys whether Marc Bergevin is kicking tires with any other clubs".
ReplyDeleteShut up clown.
Whats for dinner FHFers?
ReplyDeleteI'm all over the map with Mongolian beef on rice, a Sangiovese, homemade strawberry+mango pie and mango ice cream.
Still working on mom of 29 leftovers. Almost done! I should be making me own food again by the weekend
DeleteEgg rolls.
DeleteSN guys saying CHar will play with Vodkov on the PP. we'll see. but it can't be worse!
ReplyDeletePut PFK in front of their goalie.
DeleteNo SN breaking news, CHar as much as said so.
DeleteI'll give the SN guys credit, they seem to be taking their time and talking relatively intelligently about the CH. No mention of the Leaf at all!
ReplyDeleteI'm worried that the Bs will be ornery after last night. There will be blood

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear, Moey Feel better.
DeleteKate, enjoy that two Bs were fed their just desserts by Dale and N8.
DeleteThat was a crazy good second period.
ReplyDeleteFunny that tsn kept updating their main page last night after every leaf goal. Not a single update yet. Sick fucks.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that yesterday. They even allowed comments during the game. They don't even allow comments, or post them, for hours after a Habs game.
DeleteOk, all caught up.
ReplyDeleteFurlatt is a late substitution. Walsh is sidelined with the flu.

ReplyDeleteJust rewatched the last PP. How on Earth did Plecky not score on that open net? How did they not score at all? Minor optimism, it's getting better. I think having more than 1 PP per game is helping it along slightly. But seriously, FUCKING SHOOT IT!

ReplyDeleteAwwwww, boohoo. This the 3rd set of back-to-backs for the wittle poor bruins.
ReplyDeleteHabs have had 3, and they have 3 more by the end of the month.
A broon fan posted on tsn, even before our 1st game about their back to backs vs the Habs always on the 2nd one.
DeleteNotice how low low M&M gets on his face-offs.
ReplyDeleteDid u see the crosscheck into weaver's back sending him into the net and as TFS goes back into position he falls backwards over Weaver and no call.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaven't watCHed a single SN game this year. Are they making cockroachish excuses tonight?
ReplyDeleteIt's not nearly as bad. They mentioned it in passing, while HNIC would have had an infographic and an angry interview with a schedule maker. Also, SN often mentions Hab players, often by name. So that's different.
DeleteThe guy who is calling it tonight is actually the guy who used to do the Habs radio broadcast.
John Bartlet.
DeleteBartlet is quite respectable imho
DeleteMet him, very nice man.
Deleteyikes that looked painful
ReplyDeleteShould have been a match penalty.
ReplyDeleteFUCKING GOON BULLSHIT!
ReplyDeleteCASH IT GODDAMMIT
ReplyDeleteActually, on replay it doesn't look intentional. You just have to assume the worst with the broons.
ReplyDeleteFunny O'Halloran kicked Tinordi from the game for a non-existent elbow to the head though. Hope the league gives him a suspension.

ReplyDeleteFucking goon bastard mcquaid
ReplyDeleteThey've been singing hey hey goodbye for the last 5 minutes. I'll allow it.
ReplyDeleteGod the broons are a disgustingly dirty team.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful night. I was thinking earlier how I hate the olé song and wondered whatever happened to the hey hey hey goodbye song, and lo and behold I hear it late in the game. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love Weiss against the B's. But now 2 minutes for being assaulted by fucking mcquaid.
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow does that end up in a 4on4?
ReplyDeleteLike i said 2 minutes for being assaulted.
Deletenice job boys!!!
ReplyDeleteBeauty win.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteSuck it you dirty pieces of shit. Like I said, yeah the broons got hot for a while. They were also playing Buffalo and Florida for 3 straight weeks.
Not as good as the leafs. They scored 6. The leafs could easily take either of these teams in a 7 game series. Just paraphrasing some of the things you'll hear over the next couple of days.
ReplyDeleteIt burns those sick fuck mediots that the Habs are a gaudy 12-4-1. They can collectively fuck off!
DeleteDale 1st star.
ReplyDeleteACK! It's the first time this season I've seen pj suck! And he's just being the usual fucking broon apologist/excuse maker. Makes me want to puke listening to this guy.
ReplyDeleteSJ 2 TB 1
ReplyDeleteHabs back into first!
Marc Denis asked Dale if he feels like flexing his muscles, he said no, we'll save that for the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteSharks 2-1 over Bolts.
ReplyDeleteNothing but positives tonight. Unless you're the Bruins. Then you're just shit outta luck.
ReplyDeleteCOME ON WEISE GIVE US A LIL' FLEX!
He said maybe in the playoffs.
DeleteAvs 4-3 over rags in SO
ReplyDeleteMy only regret is that I didn't wait to watch this tonight with some beers. I'm staying home and thought the game would be fun to watch in the evening for once, but I just couldn't resist so I watched it here and there at work.
ReplyDeleteOh well, I'll just have to watch it again (I can skip the 1st).
Get me some random comments kidz so I can serve some ice cream!
