Leafs...gone. But they'll keep putting them as a top news story...because those comped Leafs benefits... Bruins...gone. Nucks...gone. Jets...gone. Probably Calgary and the winner of Detroit/TB.
As mentioned upthread, johnson wanting the play to continue, many seconds after TFS™ lost his mask, is fucking sick. Are the Habs done with that fucking dumb duo?
Ladies and Gentlemen, let's enjoy another round of COTU whining about the Habs. They've got nothing since they can't admit that even a lottery ball doesn't want to play for the Leafs.
"Prove you are not a robot," asked Blogspot. "I'm not a HNIC announcer," is the answer I'd like to provide.
I agree with Not Geoff Molson, the SFU's will probably adopt Calgary....at some point....hey, a Calgary/Montreal Finals would be Buttman and Comcast's worst nightmare! Bring it on!
Tried writing on the board for my class, still shaking from the game, looks like Michael J Fox was in here (he has a sense of humour, so it's ok). I still feel kind of sick. Oh, playoff hockey.
Bell Center is booked Saturday night. Guessing if Wings seal the deal tomorrow series will start on Friday night. If they go to game 7 it'll start on Sunday night.
Still lots of issues to deal with, but man it was nice seeing Price pissed off and taking the lead. Did you see earlier in the game, PK went to rub his head and TFS pulled away and looked pissed. Good. He should be.
My class song for 4th graders this month has been Pharrell's "Happy". So got to sing and dance along to that with 25 wild 10 year olds right when the game ended. Sometimes (well, most of the time) my job ain't so bad. If you're wondering, we're finishing up our arts and crafts from last week (hey, we're ahead in the book, I planned ahead for the playoffs).
I've got Friday and then all of next week off! I see some 8am drinking in my future!
Wow, just watched the last 20 seconds with sound. SN is so unprofessional. I've watched replays of Boston and TB losing last year to the Habs and even their own announcers didn't sound as disappointed as these guys. Fucking sick.
By the way, the Habs didn't "Just hang on to beat the Sens". Even if those diving jerks would have won tonight, there would have still been another game. That's not "hanging on". Asshats.
So just lurked on the Sens blog. Apparently, the early whistle is akin to Hull's skate in the crease. Yes, the first period of game 6 of the first round is the same as OT in game 6 of the SCF. Also, Montreal's whole future playoff success this year is tarnished and it was all set up from the league. On top of that, HNIC is completely pro-Habs and also have a hand in the blown call because conspiracies.
I know I like to play dress up with my tin foil hat here and there, but jesus Price guys. Even I try to base my delusions on something in reality.
And since I brought it up, here's my problem with the logic of both of these claims. They say Dallas shouldn't have won, that Buffalo was robbed. Well, even if they waived off that goal, the Stars could have still scored and won. On top of that, it was game 6 so even if the Sabers scored to take it, they would have still had to win the next game. Those are alot of 'ifs' and 'thens' to completely give the win to the other team after a blown call.
Same in tonight's case. I admit, obviously, it was a blown call. But even if that goal counted who knows how the rest of the game would have played out. The Sens would have had to score one more than the Habs the rest of the game to win it still. And even then, they would have still had to win next game. I'd be pissed if it was reversed, but this one call hardly 'stole the series for the Habs', which is the narrative already being created. Maybe the refs would have called a fair game instead of constantly trying to make it up to the Sens? Who knows. Hey, what if the refs called the high stick on PK at the start of game 3 instead of allowing play to go and have them score? Blown calls go both ways.
Seriously - he was crouched down. Stick was far below the crossbar.
And just watched the highlights about the Sens after the handshake. Barely wouldn't have known they had lost with all the COTU slurping going on...I really should call Rogers to cancel the service I have with them and say it's because of Sportsnet classless commentators.
Notes: Both Marc Methot and Clarke MacArthur were dealing with hip flexor injuries through the series and Mark Stone said the pain in his wrist on off-days was difficult to deal with, because it's not easy masturbating with your wrong hand.
HANG ON BOYS FFS HANG ON

ReplyDeleteOttawa has just announced that due to 20 microfractures of hurt feelings, they will not be able to golf tomorrow
ReplyDeleteBruised ego(maniacs). Some in the sens org. needs to find some class.

Good CHoices!
DeleteHonourable mention to CHip for me. Though he was quiet tonight.
DeleteAgreed Pad.
DeleteI see Sidney Crosby has joined Team Canada for the WHC. I think management can cross Price off the list of the ones they were hoping for.
ReplyDeleteStat of the Night: Price is the only netminder to record a shutout against Ottawa in 2014-15.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm waiting, I have about 20 queued up.
DeleteStill nada on TSN, they must be in such a deep depression over there.
