Lemaire a leaf hire.
ReplyDeleteUGH!
DeleteDouble UGH!
DeleteThat guy obviously has no scruples.
I love that the money in TO flows like a river that never reaches the sea. Cash in while you can, then again look at the Blue Jays, no salary cap, thank Buttman or someone we do not have a bought and paid for team on a regular basis, its just the refs and media markets we have to worry about. no never mind, a cable company would never cross the line.
ReplyDeleteI was talking seriously to one of my best imaginary friends today, and you will not believe what Tyler Durden told me.
Thank you Moemen for continuing my appreciation of the female fourm, that first hit me in the pants in grade six.
I was a late bloomer
DeletePenguins Sign Defenseman Sergei Gonchar to a Professional Tryout Contract
ReplyDeleteBest of luck, Sergei.
Yay for Canadian summers! Enjoying the country life in Ontario right now, off to Montreal next week. Just wish hockey was on. Merry Summer to everyone!
ReplyDeleteHey everyone...been on holiday in Spain for a couple of weeks so decided to completely tune out and see what happened...you know what - not a hell of a lot. Lemaire signing as a special assignment coach with the leaf is no surprise - he's following Lamorillo (sp)...and what exactly does a special assignment coach do? All I do know is that the start of the season is going to absolutely unbearable for anyone who is not a leaf fan. There's not going to anything other than leaf talk on every show for months...then in October they will win the cup and then...ah - you know the rest...nice ones all round Moeman!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine the SFU fodder-flinging if the Habs don't take that 1st game? Man would I ever love to see GoMonkey Lou sign Gomez!
DeleteKidG had Michael Buble at his charity softball game which raised money for the Shriners.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I wonder if any of these locals were pitching on Dragon's Den.

Biere has hung up his skates.
ReplyDeleteeMpTy says he will change his ways and try not to be a dictator.
ReplyDeleteBull. A leopard doesn't change it's spots.
More "dump and chase" and low scoring games. After 22 years of no championships, this fan is not too optimistic about this team with this particular coach winning anything. Make the playoffs? Probably. Win the Cup? No chance. The Habs will always have their history and they make good use of it. I guess the fans will have to be happy with that.

ReplyDeleteAn NHL uniform is a sacred thing and it's an honor to wear one. Putting corporate sponsors on the front would tarnish that. Don't do it

DeleteI would hate to see the sacred logo of our CH jerseys disgraced by bettman with his cheap sell-out to get money to pay for his failed experiments.
