Will likely update later and turn it into the game day thread.
ReplyDeleteSexy Friday has never had anything to hide and I appreciate that it is enjoyed by many (most?) FHFers. What with all the crazy, sick shit about assaulting women (and men), I just want to be clear that these threads are mainly for the pure enjoyment of all things sexy, yes namely the female form, sometimes the male one and usually some artistic and sarcastic pictures to lighten the mood. FWIW, there is nothing wrong with admiring what we see as beautiful and where the situation is agreed upon, nothing wrong with expressing a kind thought about someone's beauty. Anyone that takes advantage of someone, regardless of the environment, deserves to be called out.
ReplyDeleteWell said moe! As one of the founders of SF, agree 100%
DeleteFor the record, Sexy Friday was actually ripped off from Kissing Suzy Kolber. I founded nothing
DeleteBon vendredi sexxxy mes ami(e)s!
ReplyDeleteNOW HOW ABOUT A WIN FFS??????
The FHFunky leather chair is from Professor 29's office. Also, too, 'Rosemary'.
ReplyDeleteLets be clear on the rules for a great SF. If he kills me shoot him.
ReplyDeleteIts surprising nobody has thought of this. Put gCHuck at center where he scored 30 goals. Hempsky, DBMB was high when he bought this.
Its obvious the only CHoice now is to manage Costanza style. Once the decision has been made do the exact opposite.
Oct 20 and I am officially calling for a tank. Send Meat down, keep Hempsky. Trade Superplexxe and Patches. There is no hope, the collapse is here, Trump is President, the end is near.

ReplyDeleteYes we are now all feeling lonely, but do not dispair my friends there is always Sweet Jane.. I can not count all the times Jane has saved the day, lets hope we draft Jane in 2018.
ReplyDeleteBy threading the CH Twitter gameday pic, this thread is now a gameday thread.
ReplyDeleteGreat SF Moeman...NOAR! Don't donwest coast games so please just fucking win!
ReplyDeleteWhat's shaking kids?
ReplyDeleteYou're looking at a proud new Grandmother of a beautiful baby girl!!!!!!!
Habs going to win this one to celebrate. Go Habs Go!!!
Congrats grandma!
DeleteCongrats June! Go Habs Go!!!
ReplyDeletejuce...Autocorrect.
DeleteGoddamnit I should just go to bed...
ReplyDelete1/2 the Ducks' regular squad is injured and they're leading 2-0 4 minutes in. Bodes well for the Habs.
ReplyDeleteBoy, this got nasty in a hurry. And Perry, hasn't even started his usual dirty, cheap stuff yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys.
ReplyDeleteYikes! 3-0
ReplyDeleteDid Alzner turn over the puck then score on his own net?
ReplyDeleteIf you cant score on the other guys, might as well put it in your own net.
ReplyDeleteI heard Beauchemin said something along the lines that he would have liked to sign with the Habs but they never called and they signed Streit? Ouch.
ReplyDeleteOk, gotta go flake out on the couCH. Go Habs Go!!!
ReplyDeleteNo point fighting sleep for this shitshow. Hitting the hay after 1.
ReplyDeleteWow...just wow! I heard a lot of bad happened in this game...Ome good but mostly bad...gonna watch highlights before saying any more...except to congratulate Juce on becoming a grandmother. Congrats to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Juce
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand Ducks where without Getzlaf and Kessler, and we still wiffed Oh the humanity
Dano also took out Fowler, another Duck down.
DeleteI have said that Shaw often took dumb penalties before but he's obviously on that beloved list the refs share. How is that assault by Bieksa turned a blind eye to? Guy just about folds his body backwards over the crossbar then crosschecks him in the face as he's pinned to net? Shaw must surely have thought F this shit when he sees Bieska's not getting called and then goes after him. ONLY then did the refs start handing out misconducts - including Shaw just for fun I guess. They say there are 'good penalties and bad penalties' but if I'm Shaw, I'd have done the same thing. Not blaming the refs for the loss, Habs just can't seem to score to save their own lives even while breaking a franCHise record for number of shots in a period, TFS not being his other-wordly self, their best Dman is a 19 yr-old rookie who they can't afford to take off the roster. I'm just saying I hate the injustice of it. They kept pointing out that gCHyuk had no shots until he got one and saying how many PatCHes had throughout the game (10 total) but what's the point if you even have 100 shots and can't put it in the net? Not only PatCHes but a few others couldn't sore when they had an open net ripe for the taking.
ReplyDeleteThanks KmaXXX thanks Steve.
ReplyDeleteI was at the hospital for 12hrs yesterday, not because the baby hadn't arrived but just because I could be in the room and hold her all I wanted. Things sure have changed, back in the day visitors were not allowed in the room if the baby was there and if you wanted to see the baby you had to go to the nursery and look through the glass. I still have that little identity 'bracelet' they put on my son's wrist when he was born, think I'll bring it and give it to him today.
ReplyDeleteI guess everyone is curled up in the fetal position listening to Jimmy Carters malaise speech.
ReplyDeleteTwo more examples of why Patches is the worst capitian in Habs history.
As Cap he controls the music in the room. So he says give me the gHetto box. Not cool when gHetto has five goals more than you. He puts on his mix tape, its all Yes, Fragile.
McCarron and Sherbak called up...Hmmmm...
ReplyDeletetwo more players skilled in the art of waving your stick at a player as he goes through you like the turnstile on the tube.
DeleteSeriously it cant hurt. I would love to see a sCHeer, Mac D and gCHuck line. At least you can put Mac on the PP. Some teams have been trying this theory about not letting the goalie see the puck and then having the other players shoot it.
The good news is that in a few weeks the fate of the Habs will be pretty low, we will all be more concerned that Trump has grown bored and is going to open a glass factory over, Iran, Korea, or maybe Ireland just to throw everyone off.
Things sure are gloomy in Habsville, I think it's even worse than when Chockula and the goat were running the show. A hamster could have built a better team than this.
ReplyDeleteOK, so here's a funny little story for you. As you know, we moved into a new home and neighbourhood about a month ago. Turns out one of the neighbors is a local guy who brings in Bruins and Canadiens alumni teams for exhibition and fund raisers. Last Tuesday night I got an invite over to his place for a party and man, I felt like had walked into the lion's den when the the guy, Steve (no, not you Steve) introduced me to Rick Middleton, Ray Bourque, Terry O'Reilly and Reggie Lemelin. I also saw the Rat, Ken Linseman wandering around. I kinda felt bad about being there, I mean what was I going to say to them? "Hi, I'm a Habs fan who pretty much hated you during your playing days?" I didn't stay long, I made some kind of excuse to leave but I id thank the host Steve (no, not you Steve) before leaving. I know he brings in Stephane Richer and Chris Nilan from time to time, hopefully I'll get a visit with them.
Oh, Steve (no, not you Steve) brought me over a couple of autographed pucks the other day, Middleton and Linseman. I think I'll pass those on to my younger brother. Ahem.
BTW, I had my spinal fusion done last Wednesday finally got out of th hospital last night. Man, it's been a rough go the last few days but I am improving. Maybe I'll tune in to a game this Tuesday. Cheers all!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be yelling 'fore' before you know it, the M.
Deleteyou cant handle the truth in your condition M, better wait a couple of days
DeleteShaw accused of a homophobic slur. Investigation came up clean as a whistle. I'd like to see the league reveal who pointed the finger, false accusers would think twice next time.
ReplyDeleteHey M good to hear you're healing well. Hope it knocks a few strokes off your game next year. Even though Broons , cool story. If you get to see Richer, ask if he'd mind lacing 'em back up for the Habs.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations juce! (yeah I'm late to the party).
ReplyDeleteIn Habs news, I have been without television for the most part (KODI crapping out on me in a disappointing way lately), but I did get to see the Habs/Leafs game and our boys looked good, mostly. So they crapped the bed on the Cali swing - like we expected better?
The real issue for me is PatCHes' softness and how that spill-over effect seems to be in full play for everyone looking to the leader for leadership. Get your shit together, man! You are one of a tiny handful of people walking the planet right now who can pot 30 goals in a season. Sometimes a little cockiness is in order, and Mr. Humble needs to step aside for a bit. Carey smacking his stick was more in line with what's needed. Win the next one boys! 60 minutes of hard-nosed Julien-style hockey and no whinging!!! GYFHG
Thanks Scott.
DeleteWelcome back theM. !
ReplyDeleteSo if you go by all you read, the Habs have basically one month to save the season. If they aren't in a playoff spot by Thanksgiving (US) weekend, they may as well tank and start planning for 2019. I'm not sure I completely understand how that works but i am too lazy to do the math - I will take the word of the geeks that do the stats. I honestly haven't even looked at the standings (what is the point) but I suspect the Habs will be at or near the bottom and I do get that it becomes harder to leapfrog 15-16 teams...so this should be a very interesting month of hockey for us all. I remain upbeat and positive. The Habs will be there in April and beyond. I know they will. Hopefully they get their collective asses in gear Tuesday night and make something happen!
ReplyDeleteSo CJ2.0 found AF's blender and set it to WTF and turned it on full blast. Top line of Lb, Druid and Lego. gCHuk on the 4th again with McM & LHN (I'm trying that one out for L'Homme Nikita).
ReplyDeleteLeko. Damned auto correct. Hope I didn't get Steve too excited.
Deletetriggered. would much rather have Lego and two seconds than SSR.
DeleteI like LHN. I also hope this line surprises everyone.
I am not that down on Bergy for Streit and Hemsky; their contracts won't hurt too bad and either might have paid off. Except when do these (ahem Semin, ahem Fleischman) kind of signings really EVER pay off?
ReplyDeleteSo give the kids the keys to the car, or at least the fourth line. MSG line anyone? I just hope the D survives and TFS returns to form.
I'm tired of Bergevin throwing darts with all these washed-up has-beens. None have worked out. Play your youngsters. Trade gCHuk, he's had enough of this shitshow. They'll be picking top 5 anyway.
Deletenumber six a guy playing in your back yard, is he any good the Joey Veleno? Logicly now tanking is the only option. If all our bad luck turned good the best we could hope for is a first round exit. Trade Patches for a first to a west coast team, try and get a second for Superplexxe.
DeleteWe get a top five this year, in two years we could be contenders again. We keep drafting
in the twenties and we just keep getting worse.
Joey Veleno is the real deal, fast, highly skilled he's the captain of the Sea Dogs this year. They are struggling as well and are rebuilding after their Memorial Cup run but he is a true number one center. I just pray there isn't some defenceman in Minnesota that has caught Timmins' eye.
Deletewho says we cant develop players.
ReplyDeleteOur first line tonite is all first rounders
Galchenyuk-McCarron-Scherbak
gCHuck scored 30 at center, McD skates like a basketball player but he is the center}
Rumour that the Pens were interested in gCHyuk.
