I think I might have a burrito for supper
Looks like the 690 pre-game show live at the Irish Embassy will have to find another venue. And yesterday there was a fire across the street from the Bell Centre.
- probably spread from the dumpster fire we call the Habs across the street

Love the burrito Saint Paddy.
ReplyDeleteThat dumpster fire has been burning all season hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteGo Dead Things... errrr.... Red Wings!
Nice moves by Mango (LHN) thats what they call him a EOTP. I like it.

ReplyDeleteOH NO Coaches CHallange, we going to lose
ReplyDeleteof course we lost the CHallange, to save time just take any goal back that is Challanged
ReplyDeleteTFS just shat the bed
ReplyDeleteTFS shat the bed again, he is our Tank Commander
ReplyDeleteTuned in to a 3-1 defecit with 1.9 seconds left in the first.
ReplyDelete7 episodes of Westworld down, getting good!
Think I'll watch somee Canada-USA curling for a bit.
Nothing more I can contribute, Tom Wilson mocking TFS, oh the shame. Next year cant come soon enough.
ReplyDeleteTFS is lost, JJF scores a floater. Flush this season
ReplyDeletewe signed an undrafted smurf
ReplyDeletehttp://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=241023
he may grab a rifle from a dead teamate but it looks like cannon fodder to me
Ack x 6
ReplyDeleteHabs lose 6-4
British summer time kicks in...its 3 am...goodnight kids!
we lost but seem to be firm in 6th pick. Far better to be in 4 but 5 do we want another smurf?
ReplyDeleteThe odds are we will move up. ON the bright side. gCHuck is a player and Mango is a monkey that
can be made into a man.
I enjoyed Westworld, can't have enough sexbots in the world. I'm looking forward to the new Lost In Space on Netflix. Speaking of Lost In Space, as the Robot would say: Warning! Warning! Danger Will Robinson!! That's the message for Habs fans whenever bergevin appears.
ReplyDeleteOoh I hadn't heard about the new LiS. Will definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteWarched the pilot of Krypton on Space channel last night. Promising, but will give it a few eps. It's about Superman's grandfather as a young man trying to save Krypton (more or less).
Also looking forward to checking out Jack Ryan on Amazon. Maybe I'll rewatch all the Jack Ryan movies over the next few months as a primer.
Oh yeah, way to go Carey. And can we keep calling him TFS or do we now just use that ironically...or sarcastically?
I think Carey is just going through the motions right now. As for draft positioning, I don't care any more. Just get one of those high end forwards. Rasmus is going to Barfalo.
DeleteI always questioned whether Price was always "the best goalie in the world". That cna be so subjective and depending on circumstances. He's a decent goalie for sure, but now he is in his thirties and I don't think it's fair to expect him to carry the team on his back any more. Give him a half decent team in front of him and he will give them a shot. Habs management has let him down big time putting such a shitty product on the ice. I don't blame him one bit if he doesn't give a flying fuck.
ReplyDeleteAnd to add to my mini rant, can I just say watching other teams these days how coaching has ruined hockey. Once upon a time a coach's job was to know his players capabilities and the oppostion's and match them up accordingly. Basically, let's see if your guys are better than our guys. Then, along comes Jacques Lemaire and his Trap. He and the NJ Devils wanted no scoring at all if possible. One goal per game. Systems were designed to execute this plan. Talent and skill have been relegated to the trash bin. Forecheck, backcheck, prevent defence, leftwing lock, and on and on. Bah and humbug.
another thing that has been lost is individual coaching. Working after practice with players to improve skills, the coaches spend all the time in the video room looking for errors.
DeleteTFS does not seem to know where his net is. He is getting beat continually by what should be easy shots from 40 ft out.
thats awesome steve! if st paddy and martimer didnt chime in, would u really have gone thru the entire match by ureself like only PFK can?
ReplyDeletethat jerabek guy... he isnt the same as our jerabek guy is he?
same guy
DeleteAn interesting comment by either Arpon or Mitch on Twitter about how both Morrow and Jerubek look like decent defencemen playing for their new teams - nice shot at how shitty jj is as a coach. Let's face it - he too was a pretty basic boring nondescript defenceman - much like bbb himself. you wouldn't do a 10 minute news piece about either of them when they played if they had to miss a game or two - sadly an accurate reflection of the Habs current D
ReplyDeletealzimer cant remember if he is playing man on mon or zone d. The revolving door of 4,5,6,7.8 D will go on endlessly.
DeleteMy vote for the Masterson is gCHuck. Against all odds he will be top scorer.
This is really for the next post but it cant wait. Which one of the top ten tank battles will tonites contest eliminate from the list.
