Nobody hurts and nobody cries
Nobody drowns and nobody dies
So we're in one of our blue moods
Life seems to be a bomb inside of your head
It's better than slander it's better than lies
So grab a 'pop' and enjoy the game!

This is for the Maritimer. I took this pic in Hfx a couple of months ago and forgot about it.
I call it #CrazyRichAsians...as immediately after taking this pic, 5 Chinese guys pile out of the car. This city is full of wealthy international students. Many with their choice of type (and colour it seems) of vehicle after a call to Daddy. Oh, and the best street fries in town at Bud the Spud to the rear of the peptomobile.

Luna
The 'Wild' part of the trip.

Just because.
Van the Man stays. That's just too good.
ReplyDeleteCarrying over from the end of the previous thread, what about Kuler for Kulak. Gotta have a Kuler (cooler) full of cold ones to go with your BBQ.
ReplyDeleteOr a quick google search tells me Kulak is of Slavic origin (or Polish) and means 'fist'. I'm leaving that alone as my filthy mind wanders...
Reminds me, maybe I've told this story before back when Blackberry/Research In Motion (RIM) invested in a new building in town and were dealing with the city about incentives for hiring more folks, and the councillor whose district the building was stands up (and she was not an unattractive woman) and with great enthusiasm emphatically states that "WE NEED MORE RIM JOBS!"
The things we remember...nothing important seems to stick anymore though.
Oh, that's one I'd pay to see. I guess in the end (yes, pun intended), Steve Jobs siphoned all those RIM jobs eh?
DeleteJust in case there was any question about the SFU being SF's. This morning I count 16 stories on Toronto based teams on the SN main page. 2 bits about the Oilers and 2 about the Canucks (one being a CP article re: Pettersson's first star of the week) round out the Canadian teams' presence on the site.
ReplyDeleteBeauty gameday thread St. Pad!
ReplyDeleteI concur
DeleteI swear to god the SFU are monitoring these pages...
ReplyDeleteOriginally scheduled to call 10 games during the first part of the 2018-19 season, Cole will now do an extra six broadcasts stretching to the end of the season.

Jeebus, they are out to get us. Mute button or TVA, pick your poison.
DeleteRe: Pink Mustang. That is awful. Those CrazyRichAsians have more money than good taste apparently. I'd spray bomb that sucker in a hurry. Yeesh.
I have met many a crazy rich Asian, they are mostly people who stopped social development at age 12. So you have the richest, horniest ruthless 12 year olds on the planet in control.
DeleteWho is Luna's mum or dad?
ReplyDeleteShe is our kitty. Old pic she's 4 now.
DeleteWhat a sweetie!
DeleteEOTP says Aunti nemo is starting tonight. Could be a challenge from a wounded and dangerous Wildlings team. SWIDT Game of Thrones fans?
ReplyDeleteSeek What I Determine Trump. WTF M I come here to relax not play Jepordy:)
ReplyDeleteYeah the Wild top D man is called DUMBA. Its worse than SATAN. You are never going to win with a LOSMAN, SATAN or DUMBA on your team. Same goes for top level, a Dumbass is not going to bring you a parade. I think we are going to win by 2 goals.
A hearty bowl of gumbo.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Jewel is in.
ReplyDeleteJust fucking win!
ReplyDeleteCH has been unlucky for a few road games to Wild territory. Methinks the last time we won was that time PFK got four points and made a mockery of them, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteEesh. Another dud in Minny. Coyle made BBQ look like Benn on that 3rd goal.
ReplyDeleteDown 4-0 and Fiver bloodies his knuckles for the team. Good team guy, but otherwise...
ReplyDeleteThat's it. Next MN trip, no visits to the Prince museum. --SiM on mobile
ReplyDeleteOuf, glad I fell asleep at 1-0.
ReplyDeleteReally only one CHoice left, immediately relocate the team to Quebec City and start over with an expansion club.
