I watched a movie last night (Thor the Dark World) had popcorn, beer and whiskey. I decided in the interest of SFU bashing to record the pre-game and the leaf/bearshit game so I could observe the all the leaf blowing and swallowing. Mother of Mercy. Those fuckers have no shame.
Starting off, all Auston Matthews all the time. Remember the kesseltracker(tm)? Now that have the Awesomeshottracker. His shot is harder than Steve's if that's possible. They played a little game where haharudey had to guess where the shot was going short side or far side. Of the 5 shots shown 4 of them were goals on Carey Price. What a dirty little cheap shot at the Habs. Like I said, those fuckers have no shame.
Remember earlier in the year when they were comparing Awesome to Gretzky and Morgan Reilly to Bobby Orr? Would those assholes mention that former Saint John Sea Dog Thomas Chabot has caught and passed ORReilly for defenceman scoring in the league? Of course not, they are too busy sucking leaf cock. The old Crotch did mention Chabot in his segment. OK that's my rant. It was enjoyable watching the bears run up the score on those fuckers last night and chase Freddy the goalie. That putrid defence is going to cause that whole house of cards to collapse. I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.
His greatest hits was the first CD I bought in 1990. Saw him live in St Johns NF in '99. While his performance was beyond excellent, he came out, did a 55 minute set with zero banter or interaction and left. No encore. Ticked a lot of folks off but I'm not one to be concerned about that stuff. And I know he's had a long battle with record companies and producers which took a lot of the fun out of live performing for a lot of years.
Nice pic of him saying Sha na na na na to mclame. I saw him at Massey Hall in TO in the 80's. IMHO the best venue in Toronto if not Canada. Someone make a whistle during a vocal, and he quit that song. I support that attitude. Astral Weeks is right up there with Sgt Peppers, Dark Side of the Moon and Crime of the Century.
I like Dish, hell I even like cutlery. However we should move him before the deadline. He is 31. Modern science says he is finished not Finnish finished.
Unlike the PK trade, I ahve moved on from Patches. I wish him all the best and don't care if he ends up out scoring Taataaaarrrrr Sauce as bb bergy made out like a thief in the night with that deal. I'm looking forward to seeing Suzuki play for team Canada in a couple weeks.
I had to step out and missed the 3rd period. Thought for sure the pathetic PP would be the end of them. But...... Taataaaarrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Interesting theory about trading Petry. First, his salary is not an issue as Dollar Store has a fucking boatload of cash with nowhere to spend it. I don't think that move is in bb bergy's playbook as yet but if they could get a #1 or 2 left D I wouldn't object. As it stands, the Habs have #1, #3 and a bunch of 6 and 7's, maybe even an 8. I say ride it out and let things play out, they are playing with house money at the moment being in a position in the standings NO ONE saw coming.
Jeez, Dish is solid and you don't get many like him or BBQ. He is there at play-off time too. I don't know that we would want to see him go. Some D-men (Shaved Ape for example) who take care of their bodies continue to be top-notch well into their 30s, and a I doubt Dish will flake out anytime soon. We need another horse or two on D, and Jewels is a 3-4 by next season. Josh Brook in a couple years may be able to step up.
I have no problem with Dish, he is an excellent #3 but he is on the right side like Weber. All the crap is on the left side. Jeez, Wrong Benn was hilarious a few times last night with turnovers, ill-timed pinches and just being unaware of wtf was going on. But, julien loves him apparently as he keeps throwing him out there. But yeah, I don't see Petry going anywhere.
With Price getting back in decent form maybe it doesn't matter.
I agree - Dish is a Hab and should end his career as one. Quiet, not flashy but solid #3. Logs good minutes and scores some goals...Engblomesque in stature
Norman - I defer to your authority here. . I was thinking about the same overall era when I came up with Engom but I agree Dish is more Langwayish...and he does miss the net a lot...what about KoolK for Kulak - calm under pressure...
Very nice Sexy Sunday.

Missed the entire evening of hockey.
DeleteFirst of 3 Xmas parties.
Beauty rant theM.
The SFU is sick and fucked up.
I caught the highlights on Sports Center after QP. The leaf lost on the ice and in the alley. The Jackal fights like a girl NTTIAWWT.

My NY Giants are putting the wood to Washington. 34-0 at the half.
ReplyDeleteGood, 2nd most hated team after the cowboys.
DeleteSexy Sunday! Weird not having a game last night.
ReplyDeleteMerci Kate.
Deletebroons were on. 😂
Cooked up a storm today.
ReplyDeleteWings and ribs for dinner.
Two roasted chickens, dry-rubbed (easy!) , one tandoori, one jerk.
Chorizo sausages.
Shelled some shrimp, made a broth with said shells. Poached the shrimp in said broth (off the burner).
Making gumbo tomorrow!
I ate my breakfast at 3 PM so I'm not in the least bit hungry. Could however have a tipple or two 😊.
DeleteI'm guessing you slept in. ; )
DeleteI wish! One of my cats isn’t feeling well so it’s been back and forth to the vet, just waiting on the test results now.
DeleteOuf, never fun. Hope it goes well/better.

DeleteLove that you included Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - she rocks! And JC spinning Luttle Bitch? Classic! --SiM on mobile
ReplyDeleteAOC is a wonder woman. Love her, love her politics.

ReplyDeleteMoe, I wa watching Arlington Road last night with Jeff Bridges. Strange!

ReplyDeleteBBQ bullet!

Nice assist by Asiago.
DeleteBBQ -I am watching the NBC feed no replays of the goal what a joke
ReplyDeleteI watched 4 out of the 6 Ballad stories. I thought it was extremely made Canadian heritage commercials.
ReplyDeleteShea is so captainly.
ReplyDeleteYep. See the way he congratulated Asiago. Pure leader.
DeleteHard to believe we Habs fans are cheering for a Domi, who would have thought...
ReplyDeleteTook the refs 3 times to finally get the Hawks a goal.
Yep.
Deletegame on cruise control, Chicago has a player named Fortran, I dub thee Colossus the Fortran Project.
ReplyDeleteQuite a game between Philly and Dallas, going to OT.
ReplyDeleteBack to ChiTown...
Ack. Twenty Cent strikes again.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad goal, but a goal that could be saved
ReplyDeletePEE PEE Ca$h it Boys!
ReplyDeletePEE PEE Ca$h it Boys!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a reality check when you watch the pathetic PP trying to set up or even gain the zone.
ReplyDeleteNo excuses, with BBQ back thats pathetic
ReplyDeleteHey just tuned in in time to see the pathetic attempt of a PP at the end of 2. Hope their 3rd goes better.
ReplyDeleteCowboys win. I needed that td for them to beat the spread so good stuff.
ReplyDeleteSTEELERS might be done.
DeleteAny major changes if they miss the playoffs? Or attribute to the Bell situation and refocus next year?
DeleteNeed to beef up the D and add on the O line.
DeleteTara Slone is lovely. Too bad the sfu stifles her love of the Habs.
ReplyDeleteBBQ -you have been smoked
ReplyDelete3rd penalty for TaaaTaaaarrr
ReplyDeleteSeriously guys? Shit, they really are doing everything to lose this game.
ReplyDeletePlay by play guy was some excited. Thought Kane had his hattrick goal.

DeleteYeo. TOMAS TATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAÀAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAÀAAAAAAAAR!
DeleteSauce!
ReplyDeleteDish for the win from Kid Kooooooooho
ReplyDeleteI like Dish, hell I even like cutlery. However we should move him before the deadline. He is 31. Modern science says he is finished not Finnish finished.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought. Modest cap hit at 5.5 for 2 more years. Lots of teams searching now for dmen. One wonders what return King Bergy could get.
DeleteFrom what i've seen in the 3rd this is a TFS win.
ReplyDeleteTwo points thanks to TFS and the PK.
ReplyDeleteNice win against all odds. Kudos to TFS, BBQ, KidKo
ReplyDeletetaataaaarrr Sauce (11 goals 23 pts)out of the fridge and on to the scoreboard Patches 10 goals 17 points.

Love the Dish. Great veteran Dman, loves Montreal, not that expensive.
DeleteJB is a nice guy but error-prone.
Kulak is pretty good, especially with BBQ.
I agree - Dish is a Hab and should end his career as one. Quiet, not flashy but solid #3. Logs good minutes and scores some goals...Engblomesque in stature
DeleteEngblom was a great Hab. Dish is Langwayesque. Solid leader.
DeleteThe only thing that weirds me out is Dish misses the net so often.
Big thing to fix is the PP.
I'd line up KidKo, Domini and Druid with Dish and BBQ on the points. I'd tell Domini to do his best in the blue paint.
2nd PP line is KidA, Sauce and Lb with Jewel and Kulak (needs a nick).
Norman - I defer to your authority here. . I was thinking about the same overall era when I came up with Engom but I agree Dish is more Langwayish...and he does miss the net a lot...what about KoolK for Kulak - calm under pressure...
DeleteHeh, K3X just got autocorrected and called me Norman. That is funny stuff.
DeleteKulK sounds cool! (see what I did there?)
Also, 'calm under pressure' = c.u.p. Too soon?
Kulindrome - since Kulak's a u off of a palindrome? nah, I got nuthin
