  2. They really don’t need to slump now, FFS! It will be very disappointing if they fall out of the playoff race. I wasn’t expecting anything this season but now that they given us some hope it would hurt. Damn. JFW tonight!!!

I love how that ass hat Brenden Kelly laments MB for doing nothing big at the deadline, while other knowledgeable real hockey writers applaud the result.
We are not going to have a parade this year.
Lets be patient. We'll win the cup next year.
    Go Habs

You would think the Habs are better than Carolina, or at least have better goaltending. I don't even know who the #1 goalie is there. Cam Ward is in Chicago now. I can accept Pitt or the BJ's being better but not some buttman southern failed experiment.

Finish 8th, get your butt kicked by Tampa and call it a season. Then find somebody that can figure out how to get the PP working again or use some different players on it. Captain Kirk ain't gettin' it done. Get him a another job in the organization, ambassador or something.

I've seen some of those movies, Midnight Cowboy and the Graduate come to mind, but one of my personal favourites was the soundtrack from a movie called Teacher starring Nick Nolte. Also, from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Awesome Mix No.1.

BTW, I saw The Graduate back in '68, managed to slip into the theater to see an R rated movie as a 14 year old. I knew the guy taking the tickets...

    3. Number 14 Apocolypse now is my number two. Lust for Life from Trainspotting makes that a good pick. The theme from 28 days latter makes me sad it was not even mentioned along with Vangelis. My number one did not make the list. But the sythezied Betoveen from a Clockwork Orange is one of the only soundtrack I have ever bought, and I bought two LP because I wore out the first and digitzed the second.

  14. In the words of Van Morrison, its to late to stop now, JFW. Make the playoffs. I will not critize because their is no way this team is taking a moment off. It is what it is, all we can do is cheer, no matter what the result.

Also, if you follow shit about the MTL media, there's a lot of talk about tva's JiC (Lajoie). This guy is a fucking piece of shit. I had a personal run-in with him (on radio) a few years back. Not surprised tva would hire this fucking racist hack.

I'll drop details later but suffice it to say that this POS is a really sick fuck.

  40. KoHo/KoKo/KidKo needs to score at a 0.5pts/game to get the Habs record for an 18 year old.

Question is do you think giant douchebag Tremblay will whine about it because he scored his 39 pts in 63 or 64 games?

The bigger question is why do the networks want guys like him and MT on their panels? Serious question. Notice how Rogers canned George the Habs fan after a couple years because he didn't wave the blue and white pompoms? By the sounds of it these guys are just really bitter. I just don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They are lazy is the quick answer. Those guys have media training so it makes a producers job easier. Controversy that fits a narrative works for them and you and I are not their target audience. We are fodder to raise their profile. My suggestion ..ignore and don't watch...

    3. Oh I don't watch. Just curious. I can probably get 10-20% of the gist of a french conversation so there's no point. But just the look of their sour mugs is a universal language we can all read and understand.
But I'd say you're both right. Fuck 'em.

    4. Old (ex-Habs) boys network. RDS never commented on tremblay's racist-DUI'd rant vs. PK. MT2 can barely speak in French or English. tva is much, much worse.

  41. Man it's all pyjama boy all the time on the SFU networks the past couple of days. It appears he is the first player in the history of the NHL to play against a team that he played on before.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is part of what I meant when I said it will get much, much worse before it ever gets better. BTW, it'll never get better. Thing to remember is 100% of the SFU are fucking desperate leafools that have never seen their team (OK, except some older leafools) win, anything. They are cranking up the ignorance and arrogance. They could give a fuck what real Canadian hockey fans think.

    2. the Maritimer6:46 PM

I was going to bring that up, the Rogers pyjama boy ad, being played over and over during newscasts particularly. It's funny how they show Gilmour scoring like they won the Cup ... hilarious ... they never carry it further to show the Gilmour leaf being eliminated by Wayne the Whiner's LA Kings AND who ultimately won the Cup that year. How about showing that leafools?

      Delete
    3. Pajama boy was barely over the age of 2. I don't recall a fucking thing from that age.

So far pajama boy has 2 ads, one a nepostistic rogers ad and, wait for it, a mattress ad.

  42. the Maritimer6:50 PM

Regarding part of moe's comment, there are a generation of Habs fans who have never seen their theam win anything. That's sad, and it is largely a result of the NHL becoming a giant American run corporation.

I watched the BobCat's show tonight, the first hour was hockey (leaf) talk with hugeson, simpleton and kypidiot. They are scared to death on the br0onz ... barely mentioned the Jets, not one word about Calgary or Montreal. Finally discussed a bit about the Dolts whom they annointed the creme de la creme, although they have won exactly nothing. Keep trying leafools...

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh my god. I just watched the hilites from the leaf blowout last night. Man, no one can give it like a New York fan. Chants like "Who's your Daddy?!" and "Where's your jammies?" to booing the video tribute and tossing jerseys. I have a newfound respect for Islander fans.

If we need to refer to him anymore, should we just call him PJ?

    ReplyDelete
  47. I was just thinking it will be 26 years since the Habs last won a cup. And their last cup in '93 was 26 years after the leaf's last cup.
I don't think this actually means anything, other than after some other team wins the cup this June, the leaf drought will be exactly twice as long as the Habs' drought.

    Carry on.

  49. I was in Kingston last night and they had the Isles game on the tv. It was fucking hilarious. Congrats to the NYI fans and shame on the SFU for protecting PJT and suggesting he is a true professional.
