  1. Nice win last night. Good comments. I booked a trip to Cuba then went out to a pub to celebrate. Watched the game mostly on FF afterwards. See oleg, I have a life😀.

Hope the boys show up tonight. Pens and Canes aren't going away.

Mrs Pad wants to watch Umbrella Academy. Lots of snow on the way so Netflix (and chill?). Anybody watched it?

    1. Oh yeah Steve, Sean Connery was 1st Bond. David Niven played 007 in Casino Royale the original in 67. He was old then! I only remember him from The Pink Panther.

David Niven was very British but much too small of stature to ever be a Bond. He was too old at the time too.

Sean Connery and Robert Shaw (Captain Quint in 'Jaws') had what is considered to be one of the greatest Bond tussles ever in 'From Russia With Love', the train fight.

    3. I just heard about it today, looks good, if you liked X men which I did. I watched UFO, cute little movies about the The Rydberg constant or something. Okay best Math Movie ever? Beautiful Mind, or the Imitation Game, I think Imitation game is a cut above anything else. UFO is not in this league but taught me more about Hydrogen than I knew before, very fab. One hot girl.

That was a good win. I was out last night, I decided to take in a major midget playoff game, Saint John Vito's vs Fredericton Capitals. I left that game early, it was a blow-out for SJ, ended up 12-0. The Saint John team is coached by former NHLer Randy Jones a local guy. Like Saint Paddy it was a ffwd event on the pvr.

I can't get over what a powerful moment that was between Carey Price and the young boy from Brantford, no one should ever speak ill of Price ever again. He changed that kid's life, for the good.

I've got the pvr set up again for tonight, it's date night, we are going to a nice steakhouse and maybe a single drink at my favourite bar after, the Hop Scotch whiskey bar. Cheers!

Oh, and any time Sid wants to sign up with the Habs, I would welcome him with open arms.

Got some storm chips. We can't decide on supper.

Yep would take Sid in a heartbeat, but he will never leave Mario. At least not until he's over the hill, and with his concussion history I doubt he lasts that long.

  5. ragged mule, yep thats an understatement for sure. whats the point of getting in if his gas tank by then will only be 4/9? i know he is TFS, but mr. BBB, u know, it really is physically impossible for somebody to ACTUALLY carry a team on their shoulders huh?

playing him 85% of the time is totally ludicrous, but surely the boys can man up and play auntie or whoever it is (whats wrong with CHarlie?) vs the weaker of b2b's right?

heres something that ive thought a lot of and by default means its totally out of left field: when the game is far and out of reach (vs DET, vs NYR), why not put in the closer for the last period?

the point is to give game time minutes so to avoid having toker (or trampa's backup in the playoffs when bishflop went down suddenly) come in absolutely cold. mind u, toker almost won the series if not for some few bad goals, but u gotta respect that had he gotten more minutes during the season, its imaginable he could have played better in that high pressure situation.

my thoughts. ide love to hear from u guys

Also be nice if our guys had the skill levels of Crosby and Malkin, but hey...

3-1 by mid 2nd and they still got a shot. Not confident they have it tonight though. Big PING by BBQ, just not their night.

  34. I fail to see why the Hans would pull the goalie at any point in a game never mind when they trail 3-1. Their pp is as bad as a pp gets, they stop skating and no one works the way they should. Just play hard 5-5 give them a much better chance of actually scoring a goal - OK not tonight maybe but normally it does...

  40. You know how moeman pointed out that the whole peejay commercial is a crock of shit anyway because PJT was 2 1/2 years old and there is no way in hell he remembers those playoffs.

Well a 4 1/2 year old might remember them especially of the games are on an hour earlier.
Rabid Habs fan and former AND current roster player Dale Weise was that age growing up in Winnipeg. Would be awesome if Bell did a commercial with CHip watching the Habs winning the fucking cup that year as a big FUCK you to Rogers, the wretched leaf and the entire sfu. I wonder who I should make this suggestion to at Bell (or other competitor).

    5. its something about legendary D Men and Montreal. For this season even at 5 million it should be a no brainer. He would make the PP urine again. I am not sure we can bring him back for this season, for next season I dont think its a smooth move. However if he plays the PP and third pairing he has to be better than are other 6 3rd pairing people.

  45. With the west coast death march coming up, the Habs should and must win the games against the two bottom feeders in the west, the Kings and Ducks. Anything less and that march gets louder and louder. I expect we will see TFS vs Kings and Sharks and then Ime in! against Quackers in the 2nd of the b2b on Friday night.

I'm in Cuba for the final week of the season, flying back home while the Habs play their last game vs the wretched leaf. Best pvr it just in case the game means something.

The schedule makers weren't kind for the annual death march. LA first, who they always struggle against, then the powerful Sharks to wear them down Thursday so they have nothing left for the Ducks on Friday. They will be lucky to get a single point.
