Despite the loss, that had to be the most DETERMINED Habs team that I have witnessed in the past 3 years. At least. Both Price and McElhinney were incredible. That was playoff hockey last night.
I was thinking last night that if blabcock was watching that game (I bet he was) he was cursing Boy Genius for losing McE for nothing and saddling him with Sparky. Heh Heh.
Last week was pretty good overall, 4 games played, 3 in 4 nights yadda yadda, 7 out of 8 points ... I'll take it. One more thing, I noticed in the 3rd period, Drouin turned the puck over ... for the umpteenth time ... and Jabba parked his ass on the bench. JD never got a sniff in OT as well, that was the Mini Max and LB show for the most part. I can live with his warts for the most part, but in close games late, he should not see the ice. Period.
Still waiting for Grant McCagg's prognosis of a hot late-season Druid to come true. They'd better not take the ice today - especially TFS. Rested legs for Tuesday for all. I feel like it'll be a very tough game against the Florida Panthers. Not one to take for granted at all.
Seems FLA always play them tough, especially Quebec born players like HuberD'OH! and Luongo. And Dog forbid they decide to play some goalie we've never heard of.
FLA play the wretched, putrid leaf tonight and I hope the Panthers win, of course. Hopefully then, they will be tired tomorrow night and fall to the Habs.

So, a year or decade ago, the playoffs get played. Divisional this and that. East vs. West. Now all of a sudden, every fucking SFU has his/her take that the 'playoff format' needs to be changed. Wonder why? Sick fucks.
I remember sitting in the field where the potential downtown stadium would've been built, Peel and St-Antoine if memory serves, in a vigil to save our team. Nos Amours, I played baseball with my pant legs up, just like Delino DeShields. So many great memories. I heard them interviewing Larry Walker on TSN690 this evening. I cried on Blue Monday, 11 years old at the time. No other time has sports ever made me cry. Bring the Expos back, tabarnak!
BJ's sched ain't too easy either. Just back from West coast and have to host their division rivals NYI tomorrow. Then Habs Thursday. Then Sat-Sun (!!!) on the road to Nashville, followed by Buffalo. (21 hours between those two start times btw). Then they host the Bruins two days later, then two days off before their final two - again back-to-back on the road - in Madison Garden Friday, then (yay! late night customs) Ottawa for Saturday. Home teams out of the running always try to play their hearts out for their fans on their last game of the season.
If you have not watched JUMPER you have not Bilson. Okay we play thrusday for the season, does the Star wars line line up. We have Kidko as Hans Solo, Army as Chewbacca and a specail guest apperance of the Druid as Princess Leai.
