DeleteBefore the Habs played them, the Ducks were the league's lowest scoring team. But scoring 8, fucking 8 goals against the Habs...they are still the lowest scoring team. That's how bad they are and we gave up 8 fucking goals. I just can't fathom how the hell that happens when in a fight for your life for a playoff spot. The only bright spot is now when they miss the playoffs by a point or two, rather than looking at that blown game against the leaf, they can look at this one.
ReplyDeleteI'm still very upset about this. Chose to remain quiet following the game. I hope the players feel embarrassed about that loss. I know I'm embarrassed for them. And I still say cjv2 effed up the goalie situation, but whatif's don't count so I try to move on.

DeleteJack Todd (a left wing kook and a flip-flopper extrordinaire) wrote a pretty good piece yesterday about the Habbies and their gm. The defence needs a lot more work and they need a game breaker. Can't get those guys usually unless you draft them. I agree the dumpster diver did the right thing by standing pat at the trade deadline. They will sink or swim with Price, it is what it is. If they miss the playoffs so be it.

ReplyDeleteTuned into SN to se the hilites, and just as i did so, Reid and Osmak were railing on the CotU media for complaining about the playoff format. They had a live poll on the go and at the time 80% of leaf fans (as those are the only fools voting) want a 1 v 8 playoff format. Reid and Osmak to their credit again said leave it alone. Of course, Reid is a good NS boy. I think Osmak is American. Point is they tend to be less leaf lovey than most Rogers fools.
