That was me, in case anyone was wondering. Icing on the cake is the GWG was scored on Ratface's lame-ass wuss-out with ten seconds on the clock in the first period. So good to see that dickish slewfoot master wear the goat horns (and deservedly so).
Hey...been keeping a low profile of late - family matters - so congrats to the Blues and TFFT! Die broons! And another Cup for Mr. Robinson. Message to the Habs - you fucked uo when you didn't bring him in - ALL HE EVER DOES IS WIN!
I shall wax lyrical about what would like ro see happen in the off-season in due course. For now - let's all enjoy Boston not winning the Stanley Cup
I didn't watch one second of the finals. I'm glad the good guys won and the fucked up SFU were left crying in their beer, especially the old crotch and his sock puppet.
I came second in my playoff pool thanks to Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz. The guy right behind me (5 points) had Tuuuuka and 4 other b's, but none that mattered. Phew! I'm $40 bucks richer today!
On to the draft and free agency ... EK the Viking and a power forward s-v-p...
watching these playoffs one can see that size matters. Thats why The Renecasse is our pick. Best combo of size and skill in the draft aside from the big german d man.
Interesting --- on June 15 2017, bb trades SergaCHevy ( a LHD they desperately need) for a Turnover Machine floater. On June 15 2018, bb trades gCHuk for Domini. I guess the motto is you win some, you lose some. Or, you can throw stuff against a wall and see what sticks.
Just for the record, I'm not anti-Tiger because of his ethnicity, it's because of his crappy attitude when he doesn't play well. He was always willing to talk if he won but was a poor fucking loser. I'm not sure why golfers are mostly white, but I know the younger generation isn't as intersted in the 'sport'. When we Boomers start dying off, the golf courses are going to struggle to find replacements. I suspect many of them will close.
Speaking of golf, congrats to Canadian phenom Brooke Henderson who won her ninth LPGA tournament today the most tour wins by a Canadian golfer. And she's only 21 years old! You go young lady!!
On a side note, can somebody please tell that punk Drake to fuck off ... he's not a Raptor ... just a rapper...
I agree, but it seems to be the going rate. I'm just as happy bbb didn't get in on that ... I'd rather spend the money on a high scoring power forward. Anybody know one?
EK would be getting too much for too long for BBB to make a comparable offer - espeially for a guy who's never won anything. Recall the super rich in the US got a sweet tax cut last year, making it even harder to attract UFA studs to the CH. I expect trading will be our MO if anything, and probably just as well. --SiM
According to the SFU Button, the Habs are going to take Hog2.0 -- Thomas Harley -- with the 15th pick. This draft is not that important in my opinion. bbb has addressed center ice so I think he has bigger fish to fry between now and free agency. That's when we will find out how big his balls are. Figuratively speaking of course...
One of the writers, Engels I think, says that the Left D is the most important upgrade and BBB might do it by trade rather than draft. I think he might be onto something with some of the Ghost rumours out there, which would cost starting with that #15 pick. Probably also cost an Andrew Shaw and D prospect too.
Mind you with Kevin Hayes (who?) getting $7.14M per, I don't know how one values players anymore.
Congrats to Blues, and Big Bird too. First Stanley Cup in franchise history. Cheers! Next up: CH in 2020

DeleteBig Bird wins a D textbook game. Congrats to the Blues and Die Broons, retire the shaved ape.
ReplyDeleteRyan O Rielly wins the Conny

So I mentioned how my boss is a big broons fan. A coworker is currently plastering the office in Blues logos. Been nice working with him :).
ReplyDeleteOoh, and another guys is posting pics of Ratface crying (don't know if y'all saw that last night but it was glorious).

ReplyDeleteJune 15 2019 lying in the fetal position.
DeleteHappy Fathers’ Day fellow Dads! Enjoy the families.
ReplyDeleteLarry Robinson now has 10 #StanleyCup rings, says the middle finger ring is for Boston. #STLBlues
ReplyDeletei saw that it was truth to power
DeleteGreat quote, Big Bird still stickin' it to the dirty bruins after all these years.
DeleteI'm just chillin' this evening watching the U.S. Open golf, I'm glad too see Tiger was out of it early.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular course.
DeleteI tried to golf a few times. Even had a pro teach me. I could never not try to muscle my shot.
I had the opportunity to walk both Pebble and Half Moon Bay but never played the courses.
Decades back I thought Tiger could help golf become diverse. 99% white dudes playing today in California.

What a superb representation of Canadinism she is.
DeleteDrake is the best of what arrogance from Toronto is.
California is the home of technology. Someone needs to invent an ‘in the hole’ noise cancelling mic.
ReplyDeleteWoodland seems like a genuine guy, especially if you caught his day with the young Down Syndrome girl. I liked how he just ignores the USA chants.
Gary Woodland just wrapped this puppy up. I think it's his first major. Good for him!
DeleteCaptain Jack Sparrow (the Viking version) is staying put in San Jose. Habs fans can put that wet dream to bed. Who can we cross off the list next?
ReplyDeleteChauncy.
DeleteEK at 8x11.45M, way too much.

DeleteI agree, I am not sold on Chauncy at 10 mill for 7 either, but go for it. I would rather spend 10 on him than 6 on torontos failed give away machine.
DeleteOK so no IKEA in MTL. Who is Chauncey? Duchene?

ReplyDeletebrass balls will win the 2020 Cup, let the games begin, the cup is there, who has the balls to sieze the day.
