ReplyDeleteNice win, very few, if any, passengers last night. Gallagher came to play, he has developed into a true leader and others are following. Drouin has finally stepped up and Domi plays well when pissed off. Price has to get focused and the D have to get their shit together. Only 3 goals allowed last night that's a start.
ReplyDeleteHowever, overall, they are not Cup worthy. IMHO, they are not 'heavy' enough to play through 4 playoff rounds. I didn't say 'too small', speed will only take you so far, they have to grind as well and I honestly don't think they are capable.
Last night's viewing, I'll take moe at his word that early in the broadcast it's all fucking leaf all the time. So, here is how to enhance your viewing pleasure on a typical Saturday night. First, ignore mclame and his leaf fanboy hack panel. Watch the Habs on whatever channel is available, CityTV or tva, whatever is your preference. Second, don't watch the 1st intermission with the xenophobe and his sock puppet. The 2nd intermission is tolerable, even those jerks can't spend the whole Saturday Headlines section on the fucking leaf, there are other topics brought up. Third, record the late game, by then the fucking leaf game is over and David Amber takes over the l-f-h panel and they focus on the western teams. Plus, I actually enjoy Burkie's bluntness in his 'To the Point' segment, he rarely cracks a smile and suffers the mediots as best he can and still get paid. You get to see some good young players on the western teams and you never here the words matthews, marner or tavares. Plus you can fast forward through much of the crap and Dave Randorf and Louis DeBrusk are a good combo calling the game. You can ignore Scott Oake as well.
OK, time for football!
I always listen to the game on TSN690, even if the sychro with the video is off 10 sec or so , its better than the alternative.

We did our Turkey Day on Saturday. Man, prepping big meals tires me out. It's almost time for the younger generation to take over. Jack Todd is doing a good job ripping the disgusting Rogers leaftv. It's not just Habs fans pissed at those morons for hijacking HNIC, although CBC had already started down that path long ago by hiring mclame, crotch and all those leafool panelists. tsn not much better. It is what it is, the GTA controls everything, even how the vote in the country goes. Watch as Trudeau and Scheer concentrate their efforts there over the next week. I don't really care who gets in, nothing will change. New Brunswick will still be the highest taxed jurisdiction in the country and it will only increase in the new year.
