Made a nice beef stew for dinner, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes and a little squash thrown in for good measure. Sipping on a nice amaretto (inspired by moe), I'll have a couple of those then some Auchentoshan single malt before calling it a night. Looking good so far for the boys ... GYFHG!!!
Mrs Pad made a nice meat sauce yesterday. Baked a spaghetti squash to go with it tonight. Also whipped up a butternut squash soup, good for these suddenly winter days.
So I wasn't really paying attention but mclame and crotch started talking about Max's book about living with diabetes. Crotch points at the cover which has Max and his dog onit and says "It's amazing the dog can tell when he needs a shot of diabetes stuff or whatever it is." "diabetes stuff"? Really, ffs. I imagine Tie Domi would consider himself a friend of ol crotch. I wonder how he feels knowing the old bastard couldn't take 2 seconds to remember the word insulin.

I do not wear a Poppy everday because it fucking falls off all the time. I buy two or 3 a year and make sure on NOV 11 I wear it all day. Like many I have a very personal realtionship with WW1. The war no one can explain which led to ww2 which led to facebook.
I would argue that since Sportsnet and HNIC let Don Cherry continue with his platform and views that he does indeed represent their values. They would dismiss him immediately otherwise, wouldn't they?
However, all that being said, racism of all sorts is still prevalent in all societies. I theorize it's in human DNA.
Jack Ryan season two, written by the man. I am somewhat an expert on Venezuela, I have been there twice on holiday. I also talked to somebody who was from there once. Compare Venezuela to Mexico and you know what the answer is, there is no answer but one question works better.
I find that with most action the M. Turn off the brain before watching. I'm on season 2 of a British military/spy show called Strike Back. It's very formulaic, but tonnes of shooting and blowing shit up and lots of gratuitous T&A so all's good.
Strike back rocks, and he gets at least one hot babe a week, extreme gratuitous sex and violence. The original series ends rather abrublty but they brought it back with new actors, I have yet to check it out.
The on-line backlash against the old crotch is quite something to see. I don't see how crotch's corner can continue after this. Are there that many old, white red necks that follow that old leafool? I had the tv muted during his segment until I saw the Ryan Reeves/Adam Lowry fight and was interested in what they were saying about it. Then he went into his diatribe about #youpeople.
Mclame was complicit in it all and did a 'lame' apology last night that I saw on CBC's website this morning. I needn't be fired but it's time for that old leafool to be turfed.

This was really just the last straw for Cherry. If you find a list of racist and/or xenophobic things he has said, let me know. Because while I don't facebook very often, I was shocked to see the number of folks in my own small world with 'I support Don' photos, including non leaf fans and even Habs fans. I'd like to set them straight but I liken them to Trump supporters in that their minds are unlikely to be changed if his last rant didn't lose them.
Regardless of what generation you're from, Habs fans hang in through thick and thin.
