Why don't you ask him if he's going to stay?
Why don't you ask him if he's going away?
Why don't you tell me what's going on?
Why don't you tell me who's on the phone?
Why don't you ask him what's going on?
Why don't you ask him who's the latest on his throne?
Don't say that you love me
Just tell me that you want me

  1. I'm starting to feel bad about being so pissed at the team, the past couple of games they have been trying. It's not their fault that there are gaping holes on the team. I feel like I'm kicking them when they're down. It's not going to help them, I think rallying around them is the way forward and hopefully they can turn this around.

    1. It probably comes off as being pissed at the team, but in reality it's being pissed at management/coaching. Sitting on a wealth of cap space and draft picks and not upgrading anything when everybody outside of your organization notices gaping holes on the back end for example. Insisting on playing Weal and Cousins on the First PP unit when you have offensive gifts like Suzuki and KK. Somehow forgetting how to kill penalties when that was one of your best traits last year.

It's these baffling decisions that make it so frustrating as a fan. They (generally) continue to score goals, but just keep letting more in. How a Claude Julien team keeps letting 4 goals or more in per game is a real puzzle. Is it coaching or personnel? If they can't figure it out in the next week, something will need to change I imagine. I know it's a heck of a lot easier to play armchair GM/Coach, but I don't think a 20 year old goalie and Matt Peca are going to change the fortunes of this team.

    2. Good stuff.

Still lots of hockey to be played.

      @Saint Paddy, excellent analysis.

  2. I love Tusk (topical, too, with that narwhal tusk being in the news recently).

I am still onboard, but somewhat baffled. Every point Saint Paddy makes above is spot on.

Looking forward to tonight, I am glad Cayden Primeau will be there to bathe in the history of leadership this "most storied franchise in sport" has to offer. I await the ceremony and I also think the Isles will not be taking home two points.

It says here: Domini will pot two to get out of his funk.

  4. Hey kidz! Sorry I haven't been around much this season but I have been doing... something. Let's go with that. It's not "time" for meth at least. Actually it's nothing. Miss you all!

I am going to the game tonight, first one of the year, so I am hoping the half-half jersey's presence will end this losing crap

    1. Don't feel bad brother! You're a busy man doing...something. Sadly I blame this team and other social media platforms that we get close to neither ice cream or meth with our comments anymore.

  9. We are going back to the EMPTY future, with the trap and winning 00 games in OT. Oh the fucking humanity, tank and get the pain over. Decades of mediocrity is not worth repeating. You gotta hurt before you feel better.

  11. Looks like Saku and Chelly could suit up and help this team right now. And other than Saku (of course) it sounded like Chelios got the loudest roar.

  19. By the way, Sprague Cleghorn may be the greatest hockey name of all time. Of course, if he was on the team today, we'd nick him Foghorn.

Even though it's cloudy, the day is a bit brighter after a win.

  21. My friend has a real moral dilemma, never paid for sex in his life, and now he has an offer of a 30 day free trail? Wrong friend, my friend has an offer of a 30 day free trial from Amazon to watch The Expanse and Man in the High Castle without hassle. Watching for free is not the same as paying right?

  24. Primo getting the nod tonight! Team figures they're going to lose anyway, save TFS the embarrassment. I kid, I kid. Sort of.

Damn team keeps giving me reasons to tune in when I vowed to tune out.

    Go kid go!

And Fleury playing with the New Finn on the Block on the 3rd pairing. Good luck kids.
