@NHLbyMatty 2h2 hours ago More Now that Ilya Kovalchuk has his usual No. 17 in Montreal, it should be pointed out there haven't been lot of starry players who've had that number. John LeClair did, Jean-Guy Talbot, too. Rod Langway for awhile, Georges Laraque briefly. Murray Wilson, Benoit Brunet.
LeClair is a swear word for any 2000s Habs fan. Mostly because of Houle, whom I shall blame for the trade of LeClair even if it wasn't him because... Houle.
In other news, the Alouettes have new owners, from Ontario, but when asked by reporters why they didn't buy the Argos instead, the new owner Stern replied: "they suck." I like these guys already.
What's that rumbling sound I hear? Is that Steve firing up the Sherman?
All kidding aside, probably for the best. I feel we will be blessed with Lafreniere with a bottom 5 finish. I can feel it. Also, it could be time to move Carey or, if no takers, relegate him to a 1B status next season.
Also, can they please get rid of the dinosaur coach who keeps putting out scrubs like Weal, Cousins and Thompson instead of KK, Nature and EAP? Like wtf are you seeing that I'm not clod you dumb fuck.
1. do something with TFS yeah, ok. im fine with that seeing how ive been around to witness #24, #33, #11 and #76 all get traded, but if BBB does move him, it better be a 1:1 fair trade and not for a bunch of plumbers!
2. weal is junk, but then again, when i first saw army play, i thought he was too. my cousin vinnie tries hard and creates chances so im ok with him. n8 is tough as nails. he is shayne2.0 he also doesnt get enough credit for his ability to send in guys alone for glorious chances.
but maritimer... u are referring to situations with the net empty right? and in these scenarios, u are exactly right. laviolette is available eh?
@oleg, julien's best before date was a long time ago. It's why Boston dumped him. Look at that team since Cassidy took over. Look at the leaf since they got rid of sour puss. Time for Ducharme to take over the Habs. New, modern thinkers are the way forward, not recycling these old dictators.
Well T17 looked pretty good for 1 game at least. So there's that. TFS probably put the kids in time-out after the game, Nature Boy and Blizzard with some oops on each goal. Best result, competed, played 'ok', had some chances, didn't pick up a meaningless point. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm beating the Dead Things tonight. Can't lose 'em all.
I still say that The B52s are seriously underrated.
ReplyDeleteSaw them on the beach in Kauai. So much fun.
fine, I am jealous now -_-
