Well done Moemen, I never realized the original lost in space was so sexy. The new one is as well. Vokov was one of DGMB failures, he had the cap space, it was a pissing contest that a journeyman D man won against a legend. John Prine tributes are like a broken down dam. They should flow freely with great upturning velocity. As for our current situation, its situation normal all fucked up. I think we have been living the first 2 min of a zombie movie, the real story is about to unfold. Pray I am wrong. I can summarize his latest post with three words. Trump is evil. We have never seen such unexposed evil on display in a supposed democratic society and the punch line is he has over 49% approval. If we cant think for ourselves and vote for ourselves we are doomed, and maybe planet GIA has determined there is no overiding intelligence on this planet.

ReplyDeleteDBMB pulled a Herb on Buffalo. Got Scandalia for a fourth, flipped him to St Lou for a fourth and a 2nd. Now we can take more players like Norlinder. If dreams were thunder and lightning was desire we would have won the cup a long time a go (JP)

Mrs. SiM started feeling so rotten Friday morning I brought her to the Emergency workers' testing site (only for those presenting symptoms and in healthcare field as I understand it cuz they wouldn't test me or our 6 year-old daughter. Whatever, she hasn't shown the slightest thing if sickness and me, I barely have even an occasional cough now. The three of us have been real careful for the whole five weeks or do now, no contact or getting within 2m of anyone, save for groceries. So her test results were +ive (no surprise) and she is off work the next two weeks automatically. Her breathing has been scattershot so she's a touch worried but I know she's damn strong and I have s secret wespon: I have the ability to get her enraged if need be, and we all know anger is an energy (thx John Lydon). So not too worried- just gotta push through. I told her the next time she goes to the hospital will be for her next shift and that it, that's all.

Oh and she knew it was risky using the same gown all shift but they were not allowed to follow protocol and change out of them with each visit to a +ive patient's room, due to shortages of supply. The nurses are getting shafted (again). Nos anges, M. Legault??? Really? Not impressed. I cough in your general direction. Okay, fart, but at least we can use it as a test of your olfactory acuity.

Did I mention the morgue was too full at the Montreal General to move the dead from their rooms on her last shift Wednesday night? I am so happy she gets these two weeks at this point. --SiM
DeleteGod speed SIM. I lurk here all the time and don't comment hardly ever. Bless your wife. I don't know what else to say. I have been in love and awe of nurses since I was 25 and had a serious accident (55 now). They are the glue of the medical world.
