  1. the games are late because pallidly Rodgers calculated the most revenue for this game based on start time and next is 11 AM. Kpx will watCH it in real time with all his mates rubbing shoulders because that where the VX went in.
I am just outraged and raging at non calls wilson suspension where fucking Vancouver Giant slayed us and no call, fuck bettem fuck the nhl fuck the whole fucking overriding committee

  2. yes sir stevo. totally agree and still totally livid. how the facq did meyers escape w/o ANYTHING and now all of a sudden the league 'appears' to be taking note (when they feel like it...)

...you could get up at 4 AM local time to catch the 2nd and 3rd periods before going to work.
    - hahhahhahh! absolutely PRICEless maritimer!

not so priceless you excusing kidG's lazy (but goal scoring) shot instead of zinging it top corner like he should have. thnx moe for showing maritimer kidG knows how to roof it. those kinds of habits are gonna get us killed when it matters...

as for the D-pairings... ive NEVER understood why all coaches stick top guys with top guys and #5 with #6. this screams of imbalance to me and if i was the other coach, i would deliberately target 5/6 with my top line.

BBQ-Munster: both similar big type, slow moving bone crushers
Dish-Chariot: this is a well balanced pair; one plays like coffee, other plays at home
Cadilac-Tsar: both similar fast, & offensive

if it was up to me... i would switch it up to 1+5/6; 5/6+2
and i would make it a priority to keep rotating meat into the line-up.

vs those cucks tn and no metion of tyder?! moe! come on.... this was an easy one!

  3. Fucking SFU and their scheduling. This is actually fucking over every Canadian team but their putrid leaf. The more sweeter when they again now out early in the playoffs.

You know here in the east coast the Habs actually have 2 games on Thursday, with the midnight start for the next Vancouver game then Thursday night in Calgary at 10.

I'll watch the 1st tonight and catch the rest in over in the morning.

Couple games for Toffee to catch Narco if he still has his Canuck mojo going!

    GYMFHG!

  4. RIP Rheal Cormier, probably the best MLB player to come out of the Maritimes aside from Matt Stairs.

Two great New Brunswickers. I still have my Matt Stairs rookie card in his Expos uniform. I don't think I had Cormier's. I have to give the edge to Matt, who has a World Series ring and is a MLB record holder. Both played for the Phillies at different times. Good luck to all watching the game and Good Night!

  5. Hmmm game on tsn. Mudryk still doing curling. Dan is doing radio. Guess we'll get whomever the Canuck guys are for tsn? I'll take anybody but Gord Miller for $200 Alex.

  14. This team is so hopeless at 3 on 3 shinny. Shootout time at least. --SiM

  15. You have a fucking Rocket Richard trophy winner on the bench for a shootout??

    And....

    And....

And.... he stays on the bench while snake-bit Tuna gets the chance instead.

I wasn't expecting much, if anything, from this western swing. I'll cut them some slack though, can't be easy playing a hockey game that started (by their body clocks) at 10pm. What are they now 0-8 in OT/SO? Keep playing it safe Lucky, you'll be on the outside looking in very soon.

  18. Just finished watching. sure glad I didn't stay up til 2am to watch another ot loss FFS.

Should have won this game, so much offensive zone time with only a few good chances. Price looked great again no fault of his. A few 19 bell saves in his part including that ot save.

And you need a goal with your last shooter and you put out Tuna AND he thinks that's the best time to try a trick shot. F me!

Generally love the way DD has this team playing though. Just should've saved some of those Jets goals for last night.

  19. Suzuki seems to have regressed. Is that the Armia effect? Or just the sophomore slump? Put Gallagher on his wing.

    1. Nature was looking some better last night, but still not playing up to his previous wow-level. He had at least one golden scoring chance. Demko was very solid all night long. --SiM

  21. I would also mention the refs last night. Kept their whistles away and if anything I'd say they let more calls go against the Habs than the Canucks.

And the play by play was 'odd'. Vancouver guy and Craig Button and it was very Habs oriented, perhaps because they were forcing the play for the most part. Button though needs to shut up, still talking about plays from 3 minutes ago. And I'm a curling fan but the one quick reference is good...you don't need to bring it up 3 times after you've obviously Googled to see who else is on Kevin Koe's team.

I truly don't get the thinking of the coaching staff. You've got the one point, why not go for it and throw out three forwards? The only d that should ever see the ice are Dish, Tsar and Kadillak, the ONLY three that can skate. Fuck it, put out Anderson, Toffoli and either KoHo or Nick and go for it. So what if you lose the draw to start. Count on your goalie to make a save and get it back.

      Delete
    2. sometimes we are firmly opposed to eachother, but on this, i couldnt agree more. every single argument u made there, ive also lamented... 'sigh'....

      Delete
    3. 3 on 3 is shinny and should be treated as such. You put your 3 best offensive players on the ice and play for 5 or until someone scores. Fuck D, Just Fucking Score! Using Dano to win a faceoff is BS - because he will always get involved in the play unless he scoops it back behind the Habs net - which he will NEVER do - no one wins the opening drop cleanly in OT - and so that's 30-40 seconds with your 11th best player on the ice (being generous I know). FFS it is not rocket science. No one plays OT to get to a shootout. As we have all said - the point is locked away - go get another one. So tonight (tomorrow for me actually) I want to see Toffoli, Anderson and Gallagher start OT. Replace KidA after a minute with Dish, Nature and KK for Anderson and Toffoli, rinse and repeat...No one else needs see the ice! - OK - maybe Romanov for Dish - just because I imagine shinny with him would be a fucking riot! And that's my point - IT'S SHINNY! Have some fucking fun with it boys!

      Delete
    4. Best take on this I've seen yet. And here's another. This team is laser-focussed on playoff hockey, through and through. Hence the kind of chintzy calls they were subject to early in the season. The shinny crap has nothing to do with actual pro hockey, so I think as long as they get to the playoffs, they're good.

  56. You'd think that, knowing this team has to fly to Calgary now, and prepare to play again in 19 hours (all while hoing through the rigorous COVID-19 safety protocols), the bushleague Buttman NHL would AT LEAST allow them to forego the usual mediz availabilty.

TFS 1 GA in each of last 4 games.
Lucky CHarmes finalizes his line changes to perfection.
CHariot probably out forcing the D pairings to be corrected as well.

Perry is the darkhorse, still with those sweet hands.
Dano with the monkey off his back.
Kotkaniemi is looking so good right now.
Couple of beauties from BBQ and Dish. Dish with 10 on the year.
Hope they let Meat out of the fridge early. It's important to get to room temperature before you start cooking.

    See ya tonight.

  59. A 4 am start for the UK was too late - and I really wanted to see some of it...but I am still working 5 days a week (from home) Covid has screwed my sleep patterns to the point where I am always hitting the sack past 1 am but 4 am was a step too far. And it didn't matter either because from the highlights I saw, the Habs looked good. Plenty of shots, good keeping by TFS and a nice easy win. Can they repeat it? There is where the proof lies my friends.
