  4. Looks like the Canucks are forced, once again, to start early (locally).

  5. I'm gonna jump ahead here and give Cole Caulfield the following FHF nickname;

    CoCa !

(I'm suggesting a double capitalized 'C', if only to make St. Pad work that high speed East Coast internet)

  6. With ALL due respect to a great Canadian, Walter Gretzky, I predict that mclame will make his passing about himself.

mclame has ZERO morals and he is the most ignorant and arrogant POS SFUcker on the television machine.

Also, too, remember how he/they literally laughed off Boom Boom Geoffrion's death?

    I do.

[Live long old coach crotch, because when your mortal coil is met, I will go Hunter S. Thompson on your mclame-licked, xenophobic, racist white fucking ass]

  7. CoCa is having an amazing season at Wisconsin. But I hope they don't rush him to the big league. It was only a few months ago where he didn't even stand out vs his peers at the World's. A year in the A should be the plan, but...I am excited to see him light the lamp for the CH!

  10. They mentioned former Moosehead Ehlers getting drafted 9th overall in 2014. Got me wondering which did the Habs picked? We had high hopes for L'homme Nikita SCHerbak, but alas. In fact 1 player drafted that year remains in the organization. He was drafted 4th from last in the final round and is now our 4th line Centreman Jake Evans. 7th round. 207th overall. Maybe we should call him Sevans!

  21. Tonight is a wonderful example of the Habs advantage having two top-notch goalies to rely on. Hellebuyck is great, but his backup, not quite up to Zamboni-driver level. Never hurts to play the long game, and Bergy built this team to still have its legs come playoff time. Meanwhile, some others might look terrific right now, but may well run out of gas by then. --SiM

  26. Anderson didn't skip a beat.
    Price looked like TFS.
    KidA was fantastic.
    Dano is a master passer.
    Dish is a Norris candidate
KK was killer in the faceoff circle.
Stayed out if the box until it didn't matter.

    Nothing negative to say.
    Great win.

  30. hey boys... i hate to be that guy, but kidG's first goal (that feed from dano to find him w/ an open net?)

when matches count, and for any match at nhl level for that matter... its criminal u just hit the puck as hard as u can and hope it finds net. kidG had a wide open net and he just hacked it as hard as he could. the fact that it went straight at the keeper and in through his legs isn't anything good. shame on u brendan.

on your second goal when dano again gave u a great pass... thank-you for putting in the effort to roof it beyond a doubt away from the keeper.

  31. Hey hey... My Covid jab knocked me for a loop Saturday. Chills, aches felt like shit shivers, so no hockey for me last night. So tuning into a 7-1 beat down and a leaf loss was just the cure. Feeling much better and 1 step closer to total freedom. Apparently TFS was zoned in again, which is always good. Dano, for all his goalessness still works well on that line with KidA. Found him for two sweet goals. And nature Boy got almost 20 mins of ice. Now free us KK a bit more and we'll be all set!

Good game and good constrast KidKo VS Dubious, KidKo looks more like the3rd overall winner

  33. we used Clod up and then we spit him out like the Maple Surpy from a dody year or a big sap. Now lucky CHarmes comes in looking very much like a huge elf without some well knon elf featrures.

Sudddddddddenly Kidko looks Grezky with guns different. Clod I liked and respected, I even give a hats off to CHocula, but EMPTY he wasted so many years of my life I have some hope, but very little expectation of recovering.

LEGO whats the decision on that trade? For me the De Barcat like baccaurat and 50 goals a year from a SMUFR

I do not believe in recycled coaches. eMpTy and clod should never have been hired. There are many in the 'old white boys' club who just play musical chairs and take their old jurassic age ideas with them. Look at Calgary bringing back their recycled coach Darryl Sutter. Ridiculous. I'm sure there must be some guys in the AHL who are worthy candidates with newer ideas. That's where most of these guys started.

    1. I don't get it either. If I'm a Flames fan I'm pissed. And it's not interim, it's 3 years.

Anyway it seems Lucky DuCHarmes is starting to implement his ideas and it can do nothing but help. Needs to get Suzuki going now.

  38. the Maritimer9:13 PM

Hopefully Lucky CHarmes will continue to make changes regarding his player deployments and ice time. It's past time for the inevitable youth movement, I guess we will have to be patient with the growing pains. That being said, the second best defence pairing last night was Kadillak and the Tsar. The Weber twosome was being beaten like a rented mule lately. I have read that Nashville will be sellers at the deadline, maybe bergy could make a deal for Ekholm, he would be a better partner for Weber.

    1. #8 + #6 as top pairing is getting feasted upon 2 out of 3 games. BBQ seems to have good and bad outtings, as if he needs to adjust his game to what his body can bear. I think Dish can still do the heavy minutes. --SiM

Legendary Hab John Scott calls out broon play by play nitwit jack edwards as the biggest homer in the world. No kidding. He's also the biggest jerk who ever called a hockey game. He may actually be worse than any of the SFU leaf homers.
