Usually Michael Farber writes good material but I'm not sure calling the Habs a 'rag-tag' group is fair. If they are, what does that say about the mighty leaf? Or the Jets? Or the beloved buttman golden pissers? Nope, the Habs are a collection of seasoned vets with great resumes, up and coming young stars and clutch goal scorers with a tough as nails defence and a star goaltender. Kinda like Tampa Bay. Phooey on you Mr. Farber, you should know better.

    1. Seems to be very little actual journalism, even by the great Farber. How hard is it to look at their first 10-12 games, then look at the whole Covid fiasco and injuries down the stretch, then look at their 12-5 playoff record, to deduce that this playoff version is closer to what we saw to start the season?

    2. Weak fodder from Farber.

  5. I just realized Habs need a sweep for KK to win as a 20 year old. And game 4 can't go too far into OT...

  6. Want a really great piece of journalism? My old buddy, Mike Armstrong, who played catcher on my little league team, wrote a poigmant first person essay. Enjoy: https://globalnews.ca/news/7985987/montreal-canadiens-playoffs-fan/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

    2. hay! StP, moe! that was a fantastic article, not just a really good piece of journalism.

but... u two brain dead?! not even a mention of that photo showing him being banned from helping the arena staff after gm7!?!! omg... that is the ultimate troll job! most. epic. ever.

  7. Very sad to hear that Pastrkak lost his infant son. RIP. Reminded me a work buddy had a little girl 2 days after our 2nd daughter was born in 1996 and they lost her 5 days later. Called it SIDS back in the day. So sad.

Meh. They lost Game 1 to Vegas. They'll get their feet under them and show better next game.

That being said, the Dolts are way, way better than any of the other 3 opponents. Gonna be a tough out.

I'm not going to question the coaching decisions, but if your only going to give Gustaffson 3 minutes a game you might as well throw in the Tsar for some critical big game experience. They can rotate him through the main 4 (I refuse to use the word 'Big', only 3 players in history can use that term) same as Streep. He can skate and hit and will keep the Tampa forwards from running around at will in the O-zone.

    4. So that's his 2nd? And was it Munster fined tor a 'dangerous trip' vs the leaf?

I'd love to sit in on these round tables when the DOPS is deciding who to fine and not fine.

How about Sergachev pile driving the helmetless Gallagher into the ice? What did he get? I must have missed that one.

    2. I got my second dose of Pzier on Friday, I had a barely sore arm my wife was worse but aside from that no effects.
I dont want to be a debbie downer but in Isreal they are the most vacinated people in the word with Pzier and they are worried about the Delta Virant. Now it could all be promotion for a third shot.
