  6. Hey, our backup's backup isn't that great a goalkeeper. We might see a whole lotta Pomme/Snake this month.

Let's go boys! 1 goal in four periods is not winning hockey.

Gotta give these new guys some time. Also, even though they didn't win it, bit of a Stanley Cup hangover perhaps? Back end of a back to back. Gotta stay positive!

  11. Too soon? This isn't negative. Right? Wright?

You wake up late for the game, man you don't want to go
You ask you MB, please? but he still says, no
You missed two passes, and don't want to work
But your coach preaches pass like it's some kind of perk
You gotta fight!...for Shane Wright!...to party!
Your GM caught you working, and he says, "No way!"
That hypocrite works out 3 times a day
Man, playing at home ain't such a drag
But the SFU only fly the blue and white flag (bust it!)
You gotta fight! for Shane Wright! to party (with the Habs!)
    You gotta fight!
Shane can step out on this rink and the CH he can wear
And with those biceps, MB don't need to cut his hair
Your coaches busted in and said, what's that noise?
Aw, man you're just jealous we're all besties, boys
You gotta fight! for Shane Wright! to party!
You gotta fight! for Shane Wright! to party!
    Party!
    Party...with the Habs!

  12. I am afraid I do not have good news. Almost no teams that lose the first 3 games of the regular season make the playoffs. We are in a world of hurt, and the only way that world gets better is a talent injection. Nature, I like his contract but he is another year maybe two out from earning it. Look at Shiftily in Winnipeg. Tsar is on a team where he needed a year in the AHL to make him a superstar. BBQ has flamed out, TFS will be back but will be fragile forever more. The plyon defence only works in the playoffs and with the emphasis on cross checking we are left naked and slow and going for up the glass and off the boards and hoping the wingers are magicians. 4 of the top five picks are amazing potential centerman.

Winning the Stanley cup is not a straight line, there is attrition, there is making the enemy live with supply lines that are unsustainable. We should shelter in place for maybe two years and emerge stronger faster smarter.
We need a tank commander, a lame duck dumpster diver soviet hating tank commander.

I said before the season started that the D was suspect.

What's Vodkov doing these days? He was banned from coaching in the KHL, can the Habs bring him back? I sure miss him. He made many bad dfencemen look good. I'm looking at you Doucharek.

    1. Not as long as MB is in charge after Vodkov dared to try to negotiate his own contract as if he were some sort of equal to Bergy.
