Until today I had never realized I shared this planet with Ola Jordan. Faulty Towers ref is Priceless just like this team. I had a situation with the Clash on the Jukebox that was a dilemma, and I solved it. Fucking Shane, can he skate? I think we are way past panic its time for the 7 stages of grief to grieve the DGMB era which was a whole lot of flash and no substance. We screwed up two 3rd round draft picks looking for the center of the future when the wingers and d man of winners where still on the board. So if we make a wishbone diagram of our failure, ignoring the language issues, which I dont think play a big part in the failure. First we had no development plan, kid can you play good, looks good to me lets see what Mcslpooge is saying, and French Mcsplooge loves him as well, kid at 18 you have defied all the odds and you are a NHL player. Second we had nobody but nepotism on the farm, so even the 18 years olds we did not spoil got runid by the best friends of people in power. Third when we lost the abilty to make fire on ice we went with lets not get embarrassed coaching. Lets let TFS stop anything our total Magnoit line lets through and win games 1 to zero. Now we may not have the talent to do anything better, but if that is the case tank until you get some.
It takes years to build a winner. If Shane Wright were to fall in their laps (I don't think he will) that would be like lighting the after-burners in an F-16. Or nitrous oxide injected in a V8 engine.
Riley Kidney and Josh Roy are intriguing prospects.
plus the two Jordans on D we got all the makings of a cup winner, just need the proper guidance. As recent as kid ko we see there is no adult in the room.
I firmly believe too much is being made of the Kid KoHo situation. Did they bring him to the NHL too soon? Most likely, bergevin admitted as much. Plus, he got injured which slowed his progress somewhat. Regardless, bergevin didn't want to overpay and dumdun and waddle saw an opportunity for revenge and took it. We'll see where that all goes. As for blown 3rd overall picks, that happens all the time. No doubt the Habs have had more than their fair share of 1st round failures but they also haven't had a sure thing like Crosby or Ovechkin fall in their laps either. Not since the Flower anyway. How have the leaf made out with Awesome? Or the Oilers with McSaviour? Not so good so far.
The Habs have good forwards, not great ones, they will find their footing eventually although the hole might be too deep by then. They need D, free wheeling, head-manning types, maybe Harris and Norlinder will be that but as I said it will be several more years before we find out.
Picked a rough year to park the negativity. So I'll just say this, win the next five to get to .500 and start from there. Could happen, why not?
Probably my last round of the season today it was a paradoxical one with an 8-8 start. But I parted four holes and hit a 50 foot putt for birdie, then finished 8-8 on the last two holes. Thought this was to be my sub 100 but alas I couldn't hold on. Maybe next year .
Monday I shot 87 form the mid-tees, Wednesday I shot 77 from the forward tees and today I shot 90 form the mids. I walked all three rounds and was fatigued today. I took an 8 on the 9th hole which is the #1 ranked on the course. It's a par 4 but from the mids I play it as a par 5 because I can't get there in 2, too far for me. Anyway, one more week to go here then the course closes. I'm actually ready for a break, just like cutting the effin' lawn, I'm tired of that too.
So, Douche says "go ahead bury us we don't care." OK then, I'll go get my shovel and throw the first pile of dirt. They'll be lucky if they win a game in October. Scoring less than a goal per game won't get you far. I think they travel to California next week, that never ends well.
Either the coaches have no plan or system or the players can't or won't play it, I can't figure it out.
embrace the suck, it from the primal ooze that life emerged. We need to move on from the past, trade Dish, and CHariots of eggs for picks. Look at Ottawa, even with an idiot in Charge they are going to be a force in about two years.
Thx for the Clashoutout ! St. Pad.
ReplyDeleteLet KK get the first goal then Just Fucking Win!
ReplyDeleteEggplant parmigiana sammich. (Extra from lunch)

DeleteTonite the one big thang yu got to watch for is KHANNNN Kulak. Can this boy become a man?
ReplyDeleteKid Ko has 25K on the board tonite, he can afford it.
ReplyDeleteIf he gets the winner he don't have to pay. He'll be flying tonight.

Die SCHID KID A with a tip
ReplyDeletetranna war room d, we lose
ReplyDeleteabsolute travesty
DeleteOK, why are CC and the Hoff not seing any PP time? They are being paid to score right? Does this coach not realize what's going on?
ReplyDeleteHow much more do we have to endure.
ReplyDeleteMontreal Goals Matter
Oh boy..changing the channel.
ReplyDeleteTyder!
ReplyDeleteWatched on delay. FF'd through much of it as the team has no cohesion so no fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteKidA screwed by Tronna and he said as much in the intermission.
Good for Toffee getting the PP monkey off their backs.
Now play the 3ed like your season depends on it!
Good for KK.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm worried that Steve picked up on all the references in my post. Good job.
I don't know when a team has ever come out and failed to score a second goal in any of their first five games in a season.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Is this rock bottom?
ReplyDeleteAnswer: Not even close.
