I've started watching Raised by Wolves. Not bad, but humorless. I like even the most serious of shows to have a bit of levity and this has none. That said, I have enough interest to find out what is happening that I'll keep watching for now.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is now available on Disney+, will probably see that next week sometime. Going to see the Eternals this Tuesday, I can't remember the last time I was in a movie theater, probably late 2019. I'll be wearing a mask the entire time.
I’m old enough to remember that hnit went on a bender in the mid-late 70s. The Habs were so good it made them lose their fucking marbles. A steep decent into a pit of blue and white hell for a supposed Canadian institution. mclame is a disgusting piece of shit.
HNIC used to have people who, even if they were leaf fans, were professional enough to hide it. Then, along came the old crotch and his sock puppet mclame and it went downhill in a hurry. Montreal sold their broadcast rights to RDS and the CBC never, ever forgave them. It was all leaf all the time after that.
cbc Radio Canada told the Habs that there was not going any more Canadiens broadcasts due to budget cuts. RDS gladly took over the rights. It was a great match.
@moe, you are correct, I remember that now. All I know is we always got the Montreal game on Saturday night here in the maritimes. I used to even listen to the games from CBC Moncton on the radio in French. I used to know a lot of the hockey terminology, still recognize a lot of it.
Yeah, decent 1st period. Detroit doesn't have much. Looks like an AHL team to me.
I like this Pezzeta kid, great wheels, lots of energy an fearless. Keep him up and send Beelzebub down when Drouin comes back. Drop Leko down to that line.
Dinner tonight was bbq tenderloin beef, roasted potatoes in olive oil, garlic salt and steak spice, with peas. No dessert, still watching my weight. Currently sipping on Gentleman Jack on the rocks.
Xciting game. Its going to be raining US one dollar bills at Cheetahs House of Windsor tonite. we really are rounding into form. If whiskey gets his grove back and druid returns with TFS in net, DBMB might be back on the GM of the year track.
Not looking good for tonight, I fear the broons will expose the Full Monty. Blame Petry Dish for directing Larkin into his own goalie. You could see the push at the end of the play. Dumb.
Apparently I wasn't the only one wondering wtf was going on with Dvorak, Hoffman and Chairot on the ice together in OT. WTF Ducharme?
"Hoffman and Dvorak have combined for one goal in the past eight games and are minus 24. Who better to put out on a second OT shift? Ducharme is a natural at reading who is hot and playing them accordingly." Sarcasm obviously...
I missed out on this...Well done Pez. Hoping that EAP stays with the team. I like his game. Needs better wingers and please don't make him a fucking winger!
This season is over, rejoice because you dont have to deal with hope anymore. Leave Whiskey downstairs, and boost the team to go on a big run. The NHL team is done. Dont fire the coaCH Fire the GM and experiment try something else other than winning a 2-1 game
Whatever happens, they have to stay in the bottom 10 to retain that pick, any higher and it goes to Arizona in the Dvorak trade. Brian Wilde projects they will get 75 points and pick around 6th. That may be a bit optimistic, maybe they can strike gold this time if berg/timmins aren't picking.
get a monkey give them a dart, a mean a metallic thing with plastic feathers, not cigeratet and throw it at the board, they would do better than the last ten years of first round picks
Also, I think it's time to move on from Drouin. All he is now is a constant reminder of what they gave up for him. He's not built to play in Montreal. He should be on a team in California.
Thanks for the two bills Moe! Important AFC game tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually watching the first Als game I've watched in years, well in between house cleaning chores that is...
Good luck tonight and better luck tomorrow vs the B's. It's been a while.
GHG.
I'm watching the CHL game on CBC, featuring Shane Wright the future Coyote. Or Blackhawk. Both of those organizations are a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteMy Giants are on a bye this week, I'll probably root for the Browns tomorrow, I like Baker Mayfield.
As for the lowly Habs, as Doris Day once sang "Que sera sera..."

ReplyDeleteI liked it a lot but its was not something with long legs. I like

ReplyDeleteDune man Dune
DeleteNo thanks
DeleteAnyone who tells you bieksa isn’t a bought and sold leaf clown, well.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the use of botterill ? Another leafool.
mctavish is lucky to even be around. He hypes a leaf goalie. Fucking clown.
They gave the Habs 2 minutes.
DeleteThe only way you even get on hnit is to be a leaf clown. All others need not apply.

DeleteI moved to Ottawa in 1980. Habs were on my tv.
DeleteLove music but clowns like this rempel goof don’t deserve national airtime. Go pray behind stage and not on tv.
ReplyDeleteJust fucking win boys!
ReplyDelete👍🏻
DeleteAgain with the local feed, so Mickey Redmond doing the color
ReplyDeleteEAP!
ReplyDeletePoehling with a nice goal!
ReplyDeleteNice pass dispensed by Pez.
DeletePoehling !
ReplyDeleteAlain makes a nice save
ReplyDeleteEAP! The AHL line strikes!
ReplyDeleteA nice goal like that means they must have nice strip clubs in Motown.
ReplyDeleteDrive to Windsor
DeleteSaw a Lunch Poehl gif
ReplyDeleteThat was a poor pass by Kulak. Habs got lucky
ReplyDeleteWhat does EAP stand for please... Asking for a friend...
ReplyDeleteEdgar Alan Poe(hling)
DeleteI think...took me some time recently to remember.
I could be convinced to go with LunCH. Short for lunch poehl...
DeleteOK... I can work with that... Shorter to type too. He has looked good so far. That line needs more icetime
ReplyDeleteWtf was Dish thinking with that push into Allan?!
ReplyDeleteDecent 1st period
ReplyDeleteXetroit announcers saying Alain was pulled by the concussion spotter. He should be back for the 2nd
ReplyDeleteYeah, decent 1st period. Detroit doesn't have much. Looks like an AHL team to me.

ReplyDeleteGarlic mashed, indoor grilled steak, my best ever homemade mushroom sauce, Cab.
DeleteMight have a mini Mars bar.
Ouf
ReplyDeleteThe Full Monty...
DeleteKhaaaaan! is not an NHL caliber goalie.
ReplyDeleteMcNiven and CPv2 are both better.
DeleteWhat's happening? Is the Full Monty being exposed?
ReplyDeleteSo with a game in Boston tomorrow I wonder if a call will be made to bring up one of the others.
ReplyDeletePrimo has decent numbers.
Delete2.10 has
.909 save%
Before today. He gave up 4 in a loss.
CC with 1g 1a today
Fuck. Off. Spellcheck.
Deletehas=gaa
I wonder if the pro scout who was watching the Full Monty was drunk at the time? Same guy who was scouting David Savard?
ReplyDeleteI don't know man, I hope the kid figures it out. Living his dream, but been nightmarish more than anything.
DeleteWell, to be fair, he ain't got much in front of him.
DeleteWiseman!
ReplyDeleteWhat a play by Leko!
I take it back. Monty is in Full form since letting those 2 in. My bad.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the 4th line in a while is somebody hurt?
ReplyDeleteMillen knows nothing about the Habs. At least I don't think he hates them like Gawley.
ReplyDeleteDumbcharme has the AF blender going tonight. WTF are these lines anyway?
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling no pain btw
ReplyDeleteWell, points in three straight games at least. OT come on down. GYFMHG
ReplyDeleteLoser point!! At least.
ReplyDelete… that’s it.
DeleteBah.
DeleteI don't get those 3 guys being on the ice but whatever.
ReplyDeleteOn to Beantown!
Yeah. Or why Evans is the guy you send over the boards when you see a shot at a 2 on 1.
DeleteLike you say, onto the next one.
I'm out. 'Night all.
ReplyDeleteXciting game. Its going to be raining US one dollar bills at Cheetahs House of Windsor tonite.

You don't think CP30 hets the start? Druid will return I think. I hope Norlinder too, but not betting on it.
DeleteApparently I wasn't the only one wondering wtf was going on with Dvorak, Hoffman and Chairot on the ice together in OT. WTF Ducharme?

WrongSavard getting tons of ice and hot Czar, not so much. Poor personnel decisions seem to be a staple of Ducharme's.
DeletePrimo, CPV2 or CP30? I like the latter best
ReplyDeleteC3P0.
Delete👍
DeletePatriots crush the Browns. Looking like a playoff team at the moment. Lots of teams still in that hunt mind you.
ReplyDeleteBrady Bunch lose to the WFT. Go figure. Never bet on pro sports.
DeleteBaker Mayfield and his Brownstains football team ... wow, embarrassing.
Detroit in overtime for a loser point. Steelers played like shit.
ReplyDeleteMonty's overdue for a W, but I'd still rather CP30 start.
ReplyDeleteBeen trying to keep away from sugar, but for this game I'm having a hot chocolate with Bailey's and a monster cookie.
ReplyDeleteMade beef stew for supper and it was delicious.
Butter tart later, goes nice with a shot of rum.
DeleteMega homemade garlic focaccia with marinara sauce.
ReplyDeleteArmy!
ReplyDeleteGI Finn, off the schneid!
ReplyDeleteJoël
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Boston. We'll make sure you all get a tour of our penalty box.
ReplyDeleteMonty looked sharp in that period.
ReplyDeleteFuck da refs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a save !
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, Monty's in the zone!
ReplyDeleteI say, no Bruins seem to be getting called for their numerous infractions.
ReplyDeleteWoo! Somebody!
ReplyDeletePez?!
ReplyDeleteNope
Delete2-1
ReplyDeleteBrooks?
ReplyDeleteNo, Pez!
DeleteYes. First for Pez! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteFor your first NHL goal to be scored in a CH jersey at Boston Garden must be extra sweet.
DeleteFuckavoy
ReplyDeleteFucking Dish is cracked.
ReplyDeleteWhatever culture they've got growing in this Petry Dish, it's time to end that experiment.
ReplyDeleteOh hey I forgot about the classless "Woo!" goal announcement.
ReplyDelete#ThingsIDidNotMiss
Football time. Good effort.
ReplyDeleteAnd tge requisite Goal #5 against.
ReplyDeleteI love how angelic these Bruins have been. Habs have enjoyed all of 22 seconds of PP time all game.
ReplyDeleteBroons injuries list consists of one guy, LW Trent Frederic, as day-to-day.
ReplyDeleteHabs out:
- BBQ
- TFS
- LB
- Munster
- Druid
- Pomme
- Perrault
- Paquette
- Hoffman
