- they replace Bieksa with fried man, no bias there - trying to make the broons the leaf’s main rival - Hahahrudey thinks the leaf goalie is exceptionally great - don’t be fooled, Jen botterill is a leaf hack - fried man has his mouth firmly affixed to leaf dick 24/7 - botterill yipping about leaf players, she’s a hack - why do these panel clowns know so much about leaf ? - 11 minutes, all leaf - Hahahrudey, ‘don’t get worried’ about his slags and bias, these fucks know they are hated - 2 minutes for the Jets - fried man and botterill yip Habs, fucking clueless clowns - 2 minutes for Habs
The Silly Vegas Kuhhhhhh-niggets will be out for revenge. But the team that eliminated them last July is nowhere to be found. So there is hope then. GYFHG!!
I wouldn't care if they took a penalty or even kicked out of the game, but I would love to see Gallagher's teammates stick up for him more when he is continually punished for being the guy going to the net. Step in and deck those fuckers taking cheap shots at him. Every time.
Fuck sake... You could see that one coming. Habs shot the load in 1st. 23 shots was what they were getting in all their games in total... So this does not bode well. Oh look... Another Pk coming up...
I guess this is just setting Price up for an even more miraculous season saving return than one could even imagine. It's the only explanation. Hope Munster is ready to come back at the same time.
Well Well well as we approach the official end of playoffs American Thanksgiving markers, the leaf are firing on all cylinders and we have a dead battery and four flat tires. Trade in the jalopy for something else, anything else. I want the official announcement the letter. Officially under total renovation, pain is the price of building a consistent contender. I have a dream and its TFS and McDavid, not just for the Olympics.
Right now and likely for the rest of the season we are going to be in the 3 hole, and that protected first round pick will remain. http://www.mynhldraft.com/2022-nhl-draft/player-profiles/Brad-Lambert
Hey all, I didn't watch the game last night but have read the various reports. It's a shit show for sure but you know what, if you stop and think about it we have watched many bad versions of the Habs over the last 20+ years going back to the late 90's and Reggie Houle's teams up to bergevin and therrien taking over. This is just another one. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of bad coaching and mental fragility on the part of the players. As you all know there is a very limited pool of coaches to choose from since English is all but outlawed in Quebec nowadays. I don't foresee much improvement in the future for the Montreal Canadiens despite all the so-called top prospects supposedly in the system. This franchise, despite the magical playoff run, has become an embarrassment to old-time fans like myself. I can't bring myself to watch anymore. It's sad.
If I want to watch hockey I'll have to watch the Sea Dogs, probably Laval and I might even keep an eye on the Rangers a young, up and coming team with a great coach in Gerard Gallant who will never have to pay for a drink in this town after leading the Sea Dogs to the Memorial Cup in 2011. I won't become a fan of the Rangers but they should be fun to watch. I have them on right now playing the Flames from the late game last night in Calgary. Lafreniere and Adam Fox just combined on a beauty goal. Meanwhile, Jeff Petry won't pass to Cole Caufield on the PP, the coach won't let him play big minutes, just because, and he ends up in the minors. I think that's the biggest problem in Montreal, 1950's thinking still prevails.
Dish seems to have a bad bug up his ass since the start of the season. He is worth a first, why not. It was a sound hockey move getting Devo. He will be a good 2nd and a fantastic third on a winning cup team. That first round pick from Carolina will likely start with a 3 as in thirty. What we need is 3 picks in the the top ten. Either 3 in one draft or any combo of the above. ie 3 tank seasons. or one tank season and some lucky trades for 1st rounders for next years draft.
At this point why not move DGMB to Pres in charge of horseflesh analysis. Make St Patrick the Gm and let him pick his coach but I want Torts. Torts and St Pat, sports radio would enter a golden time.
Look forward to a review on Succession without giving up any plot. It's on my 'maybe' list but i wonder if it's just hype. I did see Kieran Culkin on SNL on the weekend, didn't realize he was on that show.
And young Mr Jones is looking good in New ENgland.
I went against my own policy and listened to the 'experts' this week and at the last minute changed my pick in my survivor pool. It's actually a loser pool, so you pick a team to lose. I had the Eagles vs the Chargers and they lost in OT, but I switched to the Titans (with no Derrick Henry) vs the mighty Rams. Well, I watched Stafford throw 2 picks in a row from his end zone and gave up on that pretty quick. Bad week in the other half of my pool picking against the spread, only got 5 games correct.
Pretty sure I've said this before but worth a mention here - The Habs have been built in MB's image of what a hockey team is...Slow, immobile, they look tough to play against but in the end they are easy to figure out...Understand that and you have them beat on most nights. Be prepared to get hit (Habs usually seem to win the "Hits" column each night) Pass the puck around until you've got them all screening their own goalie, then it doesn't matter who's in nets - he can't stop what he can't see. Game over.
All I know is Montreal needs some ELITE players. Enough with drafting 'projects' or 3rd line wingers and #5 defencemen. I'm tired of that shit. This is a lost season make the most of it. I'm not getting any younger ffs.
there is one potential elite player on the team and that is Nature. TFS is an elite engimga. Power Horse is an elite power horse. The Hoff is an elite shooter. ON D we have no elite players not one.
That was a great game for him last night. 2+1 and keeps awesome matthews in check. Worth every penny the Kings are paying him. Players like him do so much better away from the Montreal spotlight. No wonder Lecavalier and Briere avoided it like the plague.
Might tune in. Might not. Have never been so meh about this team.
ReplyDeleteLast 11.00 pm game for me for a while so I will be around... For a bit...
ReplyDeleteNature, Druid and Lep are a game-time decisions but Paquette (nick: Smokes?) Is in the line-up.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, LB was spotted sksting solo in full gear on Brossard ice this morning.
Set your clocks back to May 31st tonight.
ReplyDeleteAranchini. Carmenère. Cherry pie.

ReplyDeleteDish not playing well with the new guys. Wouldn't pass to Caufield, now he's blanking devo... WTF
ReplyDeleteI don’t like puck hogs.
Delete11-0 shots on goal for Habs at 10 minute mark. I fully expect them to end this period down a goal.
ReplyDeleteVery happy to be wrong about this 🥸

ReplyDeleteM8ssing Stone and Patches, plus two that left in the Eichel trade, right?
DeleteHow is WrongSavard so awful?
ReplyDeleteHope he sits when Munster's back.
DeleteOuf
ReplyDeleteFuck sake... You could see that one coming. Habs shot the load in 1st. 23 shots was what they were getting in all their games in total... So this does not bode well. Oh look... Another Pk coming up...
ReplyDeleteSmokes again
DeleteWrongSavard still hasn't got his head around the fact these guys in red shirts are HIS OWN TEAM NOW!
ReplyDeleteFuck. Here we go.
ReplyDeleteDom-ination out the fucking window.
ReplyDeleteAnd their you go... Nothing better to cure the power play than a game against the Habs... Fuck sake!
ReplyDeleteUmmm....I had to run out to pick up my daughter. What the hell happened here!?
ReplyDeleteWe all know the Habs have no more goals in them tonight... Looking at another 5-2 ending to this game... Sorry for the negativity...
ReplyDeleteI am thinking the same.
DeletePomme's positioning is off tonight. Going down early is his usual Achilles heal.
ReplyDeleteJust fuckin win boys!
ReplyDeleteMust be a generous Montreal trait. I just watched a Winnipeg player score his first touchdown of the season vs the Als.
ReplyDeleteI want Chandler Stevenson for the Habs.
ReplyDeleteStephenson rather
DeleteDucharme's call to pill Allen when there was a face-off to win first...
ReplyDeleteI meant pull, but if I'm Pomme I'd be looking at taking some pills.
DeleteUK3strodamus.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't a real Habs loss until uou've allowed that 5th goal, you know.
ReplyDeleteI guess this is just setting Price up for an even more miraculous season saving return than one could even imagine. It's the only explanation. Hope Munster is ready to come back at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI hate that I called the final score

I gave up at 3-2 as they shown they can't come back in a game.
ReplyDeleteLuckily Crave is adding HBO and HBO Max for free until March 29th.
Started 'White Lotus'. Not bad.
4th Ep. of 'Succession' tonight and latest Curb.

Delete"White Lots" gets pretty fucking weird Moe - just letting you know...I'll leave that one there...
DeleteLOL, I was pushing the Rags and they get blown out by the Flames (pun intended).
ReplyDeleteI think we all know that mb has to go, I don't know about dd, how do you fire a guy you just signed for 3 years? Make him a scout? I don't know.
Chicago has cleaned house, can the Habs be far behind?
The Giants play the Raiders this afternoon, my pain will continue I fear.
ReplyDeleteFear less theM. as your Giants won.
DeleteYep, they did. However, the rotten, stinkin' Cowboys got me booted from my Survival pool. Should have never picked those jerks.
DeleteThey wear blue and white.

ReplyDeleteWill the sad sack Habs show up tonight?
I'm going to trivia tonight, I'll check in to see how you guys are doing later.
