Didn't take too long for the racists to get the knives out for Gorton. Meanwhile, Mr. Gorton proves he is accomplished in the art of dumpster diving as well!

Pretty funny shit seeing douche throw Perreault and Drouin out on the 1st PP, I figure Legault is texting him telling him who to put out. Non Americain!!

I'm already part way there, I'm only watching Saturday night games and mostly out of habit.
What do you think of this latest fried-man rumour, bilingual Montreal native Kent Hughes as future Habs GM? Have to think Legault and his bigot flunkies in the francophone media would lose their minds. They would be parked on Bettman's doorstep by Monday demanding for the return of the pure wool Nordiques.
Nice loser point. I would trade Allen for a first. So that is TFS to Colorado for a first and top prospect and Jake the Snake to Edm for the straw that stirs whiskeys drink and a first. The only player over 25 I would keep is Anderson. Burn down this team to save it.
Ended up recording and watching on delay last night. Though I ff'd through some of it, from what I saw: CC looked better Practically No Linder to be found Jake was amazing again Romanov is a stud If Santa could bring Leko a set of hands for Christmas, he'd be a really good player Greg Millen should not be analyzing hockey games
Watching live: CC, EAP and Tsar are getting better every game No Linder got 8 minutes maybe, Wrong Savard got 25 and is godawful Jake the Snake is a keeper DVo is getting better every game Toffee is lost in the 'system' but I still like him As bad as Greg Millen is, he's 10X better than gary gawley.
Yeah I think I've mentioned before about Millen, at least he isn't a Hab hater. He just obviously doesn't know the players, not just on the Habs but any team.
Another Sunday, Bloody Sunday. This time in Vancouver. Up next, AV and eMpTy in Philthy, who will land on their feet in Montreal. Lord have mercy.
I checked the bottom of the standings this morning, Habs now 3rd from bottom but the 'Turds have 4 games in hand, they should be able to pass Montreal no problem. Habs and Desert Dogs will be fighting for 1 and 2 pick. There isn't a Crosby or McJesus type available but I would settle for a Sakic or Yzerman.
Hey, the Lions won a game yesterday, moe's Steelers eked out a win and my Giants and the Bears (NY has their 1st rounder) continue to sink in the standings. Joe Judge will be turfed after this season, he ain't no fuckin' Belichik protégé...
I wonder why you seldom see coaches make the leap to GM? It seems ex-players either take the coaching route OR the management route, but not often start in coaching and then move into management. I dunno, maybe it happens more than I can think right now. And I am in no way suggesting an ex-coach like CJv2 for example would make a good GM, but I'd think there would be some that could succeed in that transition.
Pat Quinn comes to mind. Glen Sather also, but those were different times. There's too much on a GM's plate nowadays. Bergy did look fried at the end just doing his shit.
I sure hope AV isn't considered, he doesn't play the kids much either. Ducharme is really disappointing to me having coached juniors for many years. You'd think he would realize what they bring.
So, will we get to see Klague Spreghorn tomorrow night? I probably won't be watching that one.
In Bob We Trust was a gentleman who could bring both, but the two jobs in creasingly diverging in their required skillsets I reckon, as the M alludes to here.
M based on this comment we need an intervention. Have you been eating anything called Jelly lately:) If you think a tinker can make this team tinkerbell good assemsemtn, otherwise sell sell sell. Dish is dead before we are a contender. Same for TFS.
Keeping Price and Petry won't hurt the rebuild. Definitely keep Powerhorse. Sell Drouin and Lep, sell Roman Chariot, sell LB, Kaddilak. Sell WrongSavard but unfortunately you couldn't give him away for free.
You have to keep a couple of legacy players, like Getzlaf in Anaheim or Crosby and Ovechkin. OK, sell Petry but I'd like to see Price retire a Hab.

DeleteAn entire minute about the Habs.
ReplyDeleteOK, a couple of minutes on Montreal, David Amber looks really sharp and professional, fried-man looks like a purple fool.
ReplyDeleteLet the (slow) rebuild begin. Do it right Jeff, we are counting on you.
ReplyDeleteOK, I have to go find a stream of the Habs game, not watching leaf shite.

ReplyDeleteIgnited by the Pez dispenser !

Love it. I’m dropping comments on the Twitter machine.

ReplyDelete2nd Apple for CC!
DeleteI like the way Kaddy handled himself in that fight. Didn't know he had that in him.

DeleteMan. I wouldn't trade Jake Allen, he's the biggest reason the Habs are somewhat respectable. He holds them in there every time he plays.
ReplyDelete41-20 SOGs
DeleteWhat an effort by the Habs. They deserved to get at least a point tonight. I'm happy I watched this game, they seem to play well on Saturday nights.
ReplyDeleteSeason in a nutshell
ReplyDeleteOh well, wasn't meant to be I guess. Great effort though and the wretched leaf lost so not a bad evening.

Lets get the TSAR and EAP on 8 year deals. 5.5 Mil each? Maybe less for EAP and more for the Tsar.

DeleteOutlander is going to be Karlson and you will have to give some blood baack
DeleteI signed up for DAZN last week, now I get tow watch the game I want instead of the Pats or Ravens every damn week. Giants vs Fish for me : )
ReplyDeleteBonus, no Daniel Jones aka Turnover machine today.
I find the older I get the less interested I am in anything. Things that keep you on your toes are valuable.

Shee-oot, that didn't take long to come true. I hope the second part doesn't...
DeleteNo way in hell Flash hires either of these guys. Right? Right? :(

Speaking of Bob. he's being brought in to help facilitate the search for a GM. Legault and friends will be excited I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteSo Toffee is out multiple weeks now. There is apparently no end to the karma coming the Habs' way for that awful first round picks this year.
ReplyDeleteSo we'll see Dolph tomorrow. I have a rare Tuesday curling match, so at best will tune in to see the last few minutes of the inevitable onslaught.
I think many of the struggling players have been playing hurt. Flash probably told them to shut it down it's OK if we fail this year.
