I btw had no idea this game was on so early. Boy the folks in Glendale treated to a MLK Day special, 31 v 32. Much bigger than some football game tonight with their team off in LA...
This season is painful there is no doubt. I didn't see a lot of effort although I only watched the 3rd period. It's obvious the majority of the vets have packed it in and tuned the coach out. The only interesting things for us now as Habs fans is the hiring of the new GM, the lead up to the trade deadline and draft positioning.
When they get back to Montreal, they need to let Richardson take over for the rest of the year. They are going to be picking top 5 regardless and Shane Wright may not be the best player anyway. The players need to get their pride back and play with effort. They literally look like the Skating Dead. Gorton can't let that go on for 40+ more games.

oldy but goodie eems Guy Lafleur was asked if his old team could beat the present day incarnation of the Habs. He hesitated for a second but then stated: We would probably beat them. Asked why he hesitated about the prediction Guy simply said that it would be close but his former teamates are all in their 70's.
Nice! Was it you or 29 who used to post the pick of the naked girl shoveling the sidewalk? Maybe a stripper?
ReplyDeleteMe, can't find it !
DeleteThese are not the same people I see out shoveling around here. But I digress.
DeleteOn the topic of digging, today marks an opportunity fir our Habs to stop digging their hole. Welcome back Powerhorse!
Added a little update.
DeleteGymf Habs GO!
If leafs lose to AZ and Habs beat AZ, Habs > leafs. Simple logic.

ReplyDeleteHave they won even one game since Gorton took over?
