Rather than listen to the pre-game shit that hnic airs, I was scrolling through the Habs' recent drafts. There are a shockingly low number of regular NHLers drafted by the team in the last 15 years. I sure hope the dream team the Duo are.putting together change this, and put a competitor back on the ice in 2-3 years.
Five in a row. It's astounding what a change can bring. Loved the Montreal Hockey Now read. I'm liking the two and three year old languishing prospects idea. Chops years off a rebuild and takes away the draft crapshoot. I'm older now and a little more patient than I would have been in the past. Time to start fresh. Or fresher. Go Habs
Western Canadian road swing coming up, should cool off the red hot Habs despite the miracles being wrought by MSL. Traditionally, they don't do well. I would hate to have suffered through the previous 4 months with no Top 3 pick to show for it. Play .500 hockey from here on please.
Keep Leko unless somebody offers a ridiculous return. I would prefer they trade Petry and keep Chiarot, Ben is way tougher to play against, he would be a great guy to play with Harris or Guhle as the stay at home guy although Guhle should probably do a year in the AHL. Next year the D should be: Tsar/JEd, Chiarot/Harris, Schuen/Northlander/Savard.
"It may be safer to wait for the summer of 2023 when Jonathan Huberdeau’s six-year contract at $5.9 million per season with the Florida Panthers runs out. The Saint-Jerome, Quebec native, would bring in an offensive punch, star power and the added bonus of being from the area. If the Canadiens need to overspend on a star, why not one that grew up knowing the demands of the Montreal market."
Good read;

Go Habs
It would take a miracle for us to finish out of the top ten. Anyone in the top five could be first overall in the redraft. JUST STOP WINNING.

Huberdeau is a real talent. He'd be welcome.
