10pm local time. I might catch a period to see how Toffee is doing. Good luck to McNiven too...though if you couldn't crack the Habs crease this year I don't have much hope.
Yeah, I'll probably watch the first period, I'm pretty sure what the outcome will be, Calgary being the hottest team in the league, no pun intended. Good luck to Toffee, don't be too hard on the lads, Habs fans still like you. Maybe they leave big Ben behind when they leave?
I read Dish has changed his mind and wants to stay, the MSL effect.
Despite what all the talking head SFU leaf blowers say, I don't think too many players are traded at the deadline. In the off season, I expect many changes.
I was doing some research about the Pilick clan and came upon this from the urban dictionary. Just an FYI item...certainly not in my normal lexicon😂
PIT LICKER Is a person who attends festivals and waits till the end of the event to approach people who are coming down off drugs and alcohol and politely asks if they may lick the arm pit of this person with the goal of ingesting thus toxins permeating from ones sweat glands for a narcotic high.
Good to see Marty give EAP some PP time. I'd like to see him swapped with Flipper in the lineup, give him some 2nd line minutes. Might benefit kidA too.
I went to bed after Gaudreau scored. What a great comeback, what a coach MSL is. I watched the highlights on the NHL app on my TV just now (busy morning). What's Chia's value this morning? I'm not so sure I trade him after all, unless you can get a handshake agreement that he signs with Montreal this summer. Big, veteran D are hard to come by. If he goes HuGo better get a fucking boatload for him.
Bonus, the win didn't hurt their draft position at all, Arizona won last night, Seattle the night before, Buffalo won Wednesday. Watch out for the dirtbag Sens though, they are falling like rocks.
Watched the remainder. What a game! Suzuki was out of this world good at both ends. Chiarot amazing and worth more than a boatload. Hammond is playing fantastic...is he the backup to Price next year?
At the end of the game, Craig Button ( who talks WAY too much as a colour guy) lauded MSL for putting the right guys out and said he's never met a coach who didn't put the best players on the ice to give the team a chance to win. Guess he never met Dom.
Private Idaho understands the Dune universive and maybe he has tasted the spice. We can expect a very direct connection to a parade with him in CHarge of Transit/
Hamburgler bruised his pickle. Future TFS called up. Private Idaho says " you dont win a hockey game with the players you Covent, you win with the players you have"
I know its early but I have already decided my pick https://youtu.be/wDy3ORD0FMw Remember how DGMB could not resist big stay at home D men, maybe the current regime has the same craving for smurfs?

DeleteDespite a few nice goals by him, get rid of Hoffman.

DeleteHamburglar playing very well.
ReplyDeleteDish!
ReplyDeleteDish! Nice shortie!
ReplyDeleteMSL has repaired the broken Dish.
ReplyDeleteCan't trade Leko.
I'm going to try and stick around for another period. No promises.
Yep, the Hamburglar apparently still has it.
ReplyDeleteThe Haburgler
DeleteNice!
DeleteThe Habs owned that period.
ReplyDeleteDon’t trade Leko or Dish, unless the offer is off the CHarts.
ReplyDeleteA 1st + for Chiarot, nothing less.
Agreed.
DeleteLeko is playing his best hockey since his rookie season.
Maybe Dish changes his mind with MSL in charge.

The trade deadline is a media created joke.

ReplyDeleteWow, Chia !
ReplyDeleteFantastic hockey game.
ReplyDeleteI recorded the remainder. Sounds like I will actually watch it after work today!
ReplyDeleteI went to bed after the second. Damn nice highlights though. Big win feels. GYFHG! MSL is other-worldly at coaching.

What a fickle bunch we be.
best fans in the NHL by far.

Going to be either Shane Wright or Logan Cooley. Need elite centers to win.
