Enjoy yourself, the game’s later than you think
Enjoy yourself, while Hab’s are still in the stink
The years go by, as quickly as you wink
Enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, the game's later than you think

Hello, I'm moeman, and I'm going to enjoy myself first
It's good to be wise when you're young
'cause you can only be young but the once
Enjoy yourself and have lots of FHFun
So glad and live life longer than you've ever done

Enjoy yourself, the game’s later than you think
Enjoy yourself, while Hab’s are still in the stink
The years go by, as quickly as you wink
Enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, the game’s later than you think

Never right, yes I know
Get Nature's wisdom, Whiskey's knowledge and MSL's understanding
These three, were given free by the maker
Go to sCHool, learn the rules, don't be no mediot faker
It's not wise for you to be a SFU stool

Enjoy yourself, the game’s later than you think
Enjoy yourself, while Hab’s are still in the stink
The years go by, as quickly as you wink
Enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, it's later than you think

  1. Billy Bragg said it best that Terry Hall was the Joe Strummer of SKA.

    1. Those three taught me so much about how to open my eyes and adjust my moral compass accordingly. Terry Hall RIP

    2. I'd add Bob Marley (from the similar era, late 70s-80s).

Happy Birthday Maritimer, its been a good year for Montreal Hockey and I hope for you as well.
I just wish that when we blow out the candles we are not thinking about Slaf.

Thanks FHFriends! It's been a fabulous day, I'm OK with a loss or a win tonight. Connor Bedard belongs in a Habs uniform, not the disgraced Chicago's or some buttman backwater hockey dump.

  6. Taking the Stanley Cup champs to OT in their barn with 4 rookie D-men and without Maths, MonaHab or Lep in the lineup is pretty good sauce. GYFHG!

I'm not saying the Habs would have won, but Mr. Useless caused the turnover in OT that led to the 2 one 1 the Avs scored on. That fucking guy is poison. I'll be so happy to never, ever see him in a Habs jersey again.

  8. Happy belated bday to the M and lehab. An OT loss is fine but even without Nate, Landeskog, etc. Jake had to stand on his head to keep them in it. Looks like they'll have no trouble finishing in a bottom 10, most likely closer to a bottom 5. I doubt Bettman let's the Habs get #1 two years running but it sounds like there are really good picks in those top 5. Shame Bedard will probably end up in Arizona to try to save grace for Bettman.

  9. Habs still stuck in Colorado. Will be very late into storm-weathered Dallas and NHL not bending on Habs players not being able to be home for storm-weathered Montreal for Xmas. Fuck you NHL.

    1. All schools announced vlosing tomorrow while still under clear skies here in Montreal. Guess it'll be a real doozy. Stay safe everyone.

    2. NBC reporting 85,000 lost power in Dallas-Fort Worth area, 14⁰F and they don't do so well with sub-freezing temps there. I smell a postponement coming.

I don't know about the rest of you but I can't seem to garner any interest in the WJC. I think it's the stench of the Hockey Canada fiasco lingering about the whole tournament. I have zero interest in cheering for Shane Wrong. I feel Josh Roy might turn out to be another Drouin, I hope I'm wrong. I am interested in seeing Lane Hutson play so I may check out the odd USA game, I don't care if hey win or lose.

The Spengler Cup is back in Davos, I always enjoyed that tournament. They have a few ex-Habs on the team including the littlest snowplow, wee Davey. That's where Mr. Drouin will be plying his trade next season, Switzerland.

As for the Habs tonight, I'll take a close regulation L with a goal or two from Whiskey or Slick Nick.
I spun the Tankathon wheel this morning, got Bedard on the 4th try.

    1. For work reasons, I must follow and cheer on any Kelowna Rockets (hi there, Colton Dach, brother of Kirby!) And Gatineau Olympiques (Zach Dean), and be excited that a project my company was front and centre in getting built is one of the venues.

    2. Slush Puppie Centre in Gatineau ?

    3. I'd take a very safe bet that would be the Avenir Centre in Moncton since Halifax's Metro Centre...er Scotia Bank Centre has been around since the 70s.

    4. Both Centre Avenir and Slush Puppie, plus we sponsor the Olympiques. (MAPEI, it sticks!) https://youtu.be/6YImYPAV46s

  11. Hearing from a friend in Gatineau that some dude from Montréal kept insisting on naming it the Slushed Puppie Centre.

  12. I'll tune into some of the WJC, as it's in town. Like the M, I'm interested more in seeing Hutson because Brian Wilde is so high on him. Also interested in seeing Mesar with Slovakia.

I see the SFU are trying to keep the narrative going about Shane Wright having a CHip on his shoulder about being snubbed by the Habs.

In that case, I hope he and Team Canada lose. Go Sweden (Engstrom) or Finland (Kapanen). Or Slovakia.
