Looking at tonight's Habs lineup, if the Suzuki line doesn't do anything they are in tough. Taking Monahan out sure puts a big hole in the equation. No mention if Matheson is back in so a very weak D as well. Oh well, the (planned) Tankathon rolls on.
I saw that article about the wretched leaf and quickly scrolled past it. Heh, those fucking clowns just don't get it, being set up for disappointment every April.

This is a much better game tonight for the Habs after that pathetic effort Saturday night. Just no puck luck happening so far. Dvo has had several chances, CC hit the x-bar, Armia is just clumsy.
Watching the Habs on delay while simultaneously watching the Pats. One thing in common with these games. Injuries. Cardinals lose their QB early. Pats lose their lead WR and RB. But now up two TDs with a quarter to play...and will somehow be in a wildcard spot if they hang on to win.
Oh yeah and my recorded Habs game stopped with about 46 seconds left just as it looked like Armia might actually win it. I was not surprised when I went to the interwebs to get the result.
Regarding the CC injury, that is directly related to that fuckwad Hoffman's blind pass into the slot as that stupid fucking play took the puck back to the Habs zone where CC got hit. I hate Hoffman. He's out on the 4 on 3 OT powerplay...Suzuki and DaCH are moving around, switching angles and he is cemented in one fucking spot. Did I mention I hate Hoffman. I hope he is the first player traded. And soon.
Despite penalties and the horrible PP (put Guhle and/or Wifi on the fucking point), a fun game. Loving Slaf's game development. Some beauty shootout goals too.
Slaf is showing improvement every game. Once he gets set on a line with better players, PoHo and MoneyHab, he will take off. Also, he should stop deferring to useless players like Hoff on the PP. And yes, I would even suggest Tweed on the PP point, he is safer than Hoff.

One anthem! Never a bad thing
ReplyDeleteSevans, the one-man penalty killing machine. Good kill!
ReplyDeleteGreat one of Cybill Shepherd, moe. She was smokin' hot
ReplyDeleteAt least they are awake to start this game. And properly attired.
ReplyDeletePez took a couple shots but he got the one that counted, a TKO.
ReplyDeleteDadonov is the Flames best player on the PK. What a turnover machine.
ReplyDeleteG.I. Joel has completely lost his scoring ability ... if he ever had any.
Putting those two on the PP ... a Stealth Tank if I ever saw one.
It would behoove them to give Ylonen a shot.
DeleteGeez, Sevans. It's an even bet which Jake will score next.
ReplyDeleteGeez, Armia.
ReplyDeleteTanev blocked that shot with his cerebellum. Hope he's okay.
ReplyDeleteOh come on, Kadri! Refs blond to Hoff's trip, called a phantom teip on Powerhorse earlier. Getting stupid out there. I smell trouble.
ReplyDeleteBasically, Wifi flung Kadri into Nature's path as he was skating by.
DeleteMany SFU clowns think Nature is too small for a #1 center. Ask Alex Edler about that and now Kadri. No. 14 is built solid.

ReplyDeleteAnd why does Hoff keep throwing those blind backhand passes into the slot? Fuck off you idiot.
DeleteThe injury bug just won't relent for this team. CC done for the night.
ReplyDeletePowerhorse ties it!
ReplyDeleteBeauty pass from Slaf...
ReplyDeleteHey refs you suck donkey balls you biased fucks!!
ReplyDeleteFuck off refs! No calls on loads of Flames shit, like a crosscheck to Hoff and now...
ReplyDeleteI guess it was a pretty obvious trip by Dach.
DeleteSpooky!
ReplyDeleteDaCHter!
ReplyDeletePomme!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat. A. Game.
ReplyDeleteThe Habs PP is brutal but Markstrom stole the Flames a point tonight.

That was a lot of fun... HABS WIN IN A SHOOTOUT!

ReplyDeleteI just caught the shootout video. I see Nick Datsuzuki was at it again. Might need to rename that move to the Suzukian.
ReplyDeleteBig 4 point game tonight with the senaturds. I want that high pick but.... fuck it Go Habs Go!!
