Thumbs up to the Raquel pic. The last one is pretty nice too.

I wonder if they will dress The Sheriff tonight.
Coupla Sens might be looking for some revenge, Best Served Cold.

The Sheriff will be in there. Too bad Stuzle the Diver won't be, I would enjoy seeing him get smashed. Have to settle for TheKook taking a beating.

  3. Golfing tonight so will be catching up on delay.
Great to see Druid back so we have our PP quarterback (insert very high eyeroll here).

I think you mean curling but if you are going golfing I'm envious...

    2. That was the one plus about Druid being in the line-up, actually. He was looking good in that role at least.

    3. Indoor golf. Lots of those places been popping up around here. Just nice to get out and swing the clubs. Almost pulled the trigger on a new set of Cobra irons for myself for Christmas but not quite ready yet.

We've got one of those indoor golf joints. I tried it last August, I don't know if it wasn't set up right but I could not hit a ball. Didn't matter what club I used, it wouldn't go over 100 yds. I'm never going back.

I'm waiting on a (barely) used set of Taylormades and a driver, the 2021 models. My Taylormade R7s serve me well but I just feel like updating.

Poor Michael Pezetta: "I have to play with who?"

"Oh well, who can I fight tonight?"

The Druid resumes his wasted life on the ice as a 4th line center on a 3rd wheel hockey team. I heard the Dreger on the air today acess our trade prospects for our crop of vets. Maybe Moonman, the rest will play out their term and work on a PTO next year.

Maybe they could take the video of this game and use it to show Alex Burrows how a PP works.

It feels like DoHarm is coaching this bunch tonight. Punchless powerless play and useless pk.

And, I would really like someone to rip Tkachuk's ugly face off.

Well, that's enough of this bullshit, they can't do sweet fuck all tonight for whatever reason.

  12. After last night, the Habs are 5 points out of a wild card spot and 5 points from finishing bottom 5. Panthers are in the exact same position. Go Habs Go??? Fail Cats Fail! I've never been so conflicted with this team where I want the young players to succeed by putting up good numbers and also win for their morale and growth...but also be OK with not winning because of this draft class.

I hear ya. I want them to win but I want that higher draft pick, for the greater good. That game was actually a good tank loss, a close score, I just despise losing to that particular team, their dumb as rocks fans and asshole Tkachuk.

Yep, they definitely turned on them. I truly believe the majority of these clowns were Hab haters growing up.

I'm going out tonight and was going to take a pass on tonight's game anyway, the ugly powder blues clinched it for me.

  15. Fucking retro blue bullshit again tonight... Sheesh...

  16. Gotta agree with the expos blues. Not working for me sadly. Now the Minnesota Wild rocking the old North Stars colours is pretty sweet.

    1. That's retro... Habs never played in Expo Blue so it's not really retro... Its more nostalgic than anything else...

  17. These Habs are really testing the cool, calm and collected nature of their head coach. Maybe we'll see Marty snap in real time.

    1. We used to rue those powder blue 'Spos unis as being pyjama-like back in the 80s. Why oh why did the CH braintrust think this is a good idea, with almost no red anywhere? It's abhorrent.

  21. ... let the rebuild continue.

  22. the Maritimer10:58 AM

Lose to the worst team in the league wearing pajama-like sweaters? No problem. Someone said it was the worse game the Habs played by far. We said that so many times last season I lost count. Just another game in the rebuild, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Expos Tank Tops ... I like it, good description. Should be 5 more guaranteed losses then.
As promised I stayed away, just did a little comments reading, is Marty ready to lose his cool? Is Drouin going to waived soon? So much drama. So, the Dolts are up next, should be a good pasting and another drop in the standings. HuGo are picking 11th as of today.

These fucking blue outfits, just like the ones last year are a pure money grab and SO disrespectful to the history of this great franchise and it's legendary players. The Rocket, Le Gros Bill and The Flower would probably refuse to wear that crap. They are no doubt rolling in their graves. Geoff! For the love of God trash those thing and tell Buttman to GFY!!

Lots of comments at EOTP, other than the leaf once, Pitt twice and Dallas and Vegas once the Habs haven't played the really strong teams yet. Strength of schedule has (mostly) been in their favour but that's going to change and soon, starting this Saturday. The climb in the Draft rankings is inevitable.

As for trading this guy or that guy, players like Drouin or Daddy are only going to bring back cap space at season's end. They are stuck with Hoff and Army. They are just bodies to fill out an NHL lineup for now. Eddy will get them something. I am still leaning towards re-signing Monahan.

I forgot NJ already spanked the Habs once this year, but they haven't played Boston, the Rags or Captain Highliners or the Windbags. Boy, did Bergy ever stick it to DunDum and his trolling PR team with KK's offer sheet, karma bitches...

Played the Tankathon lottery this morning a few times... I got Fantilli at #2 on the 2nd roll and Bedard at #1 the 4th and last roll. The Florida pick got #14 both times. OK I'll stop there.
