Scott in Montreal10:35 AM Drouin = trying to be productive, might even fetch a little something at the trade deadline
Daddynyet = hopeless. Send him down or sit him in the stands or better yet, send him home to visit family in Russia and never be allowed back by the current regime.
Armia = dumb as rocks and possibly will flukily pot a couple goals now and then. May some starry-eyed GM equally dumb roll the dice and pick him up from us at the trade deadline. Maybe LA where Bergy has influence.
Lep = looking exactly like what everyone said he would look like after a few years of playing Lep-style hockey. But making crazy $ on crazy term. There is nothing we can do about this, without some sort of a Steve Austin solution, but hey, one year of his pay is all it would take, eh?
Ghoul out 8 weeks is very sad and a little scary given that it's his knee.
Munster = playing like crap or like someone trying to do too much and falling hopelessly short. Hopefully Maths (soon) and Savard returning to form will help him recover his game to tge point of being tradable by March.
Savard = deserves our respect. Glad he's around. They miss him a lot when he's not in the lineup.
Tweed = stud who is holding up well for a first grueling 82-game sxhedule, but expect that to fall apart any day just due to the laws of physics.
Honda Civic = starting to look outmatched as other teams tighten their play with more discipline, but still steady and not a serious problem.
Big Bird directed the Blues D to a Stanley cup. This is what we should be training the UTES to do. Keep the puck out of the slot, keep the puck out of the slot. Cant score if you cant put the puck in the slot. No ticky no laundry if you are not in the slot.
Some good results last night. Sharks over Ducks in OT is the best. Hawks over Yotes is good. Sadly the Panthers beat the Wings to move 11 spots from the bottom.
Go Habs Go! Ya don't gotta win but please stop totally sucking. Thank you.
Took almost 3 years but the covid bug finally caught me. Been 4 days of pure misery but finally can at least keep my eyes open. Glad I had all my shots, I might not have made it.
Sorry to hear it, the M. This thing got through my system in a few days and then took a piece of me that I never fully got back. Take care and get all the time in the world to ease back to a normal routine. Exercise may only give you a setback.
And finally, Slothkovsky should be back playing in Finland. For at least two years. He is bringing nothing to the table currently. If they don't do something soon, he will be another wasted high pick. I can name at least 6 forwards on Team Canada who are better than he is. Actually, I doubt he even makes the Canadian roster.
I see another Habs prospect, Owen Beck, was traded for a boatload today too in the OHL. It certainly feels like the future has hope...assuming these young players are properly dealt with.
So I’m watching the chiefs on espn and I watch the Habs in French and if I had to watch hockey with this bunch I think I would loose my mind They talked about guys cologne and the type of shoes They’re morans Complete period Whoof Go Habs
Sloth's line on for both Blues goals. You can raise your hands or shake your head all you want kid, but you belong back in Finland. HuGo and company trying to pound that square peg into that round hole. Ain't gonna work...
Hey Druoin found his purpose! Taking sticks in the face. Hilarious Berube arguing with the ref as he's looking down at his tablet and sees the obvious infraction.
I don't know what all this shit was marek and fried-man were talking about but the NHL has lost it's way regarding this so-called all-star stuff. Does anybody really give a fuck anymore? The NFL got rid of it time for hockey to dump it as well. Just give the players a week off and let them get drunk.
Well ya can't lose 'em all. They looked super happy to finally get that W.
And I joke but it ses the weight of the world has been lifted off Armias shoulders. His play at the end was tremendous. He keeps playing like this for another month and somebody might just come a calling.
Yeah, they didn't need to lose 8 in a row like DoHarm and the knuckle dragging clod accomplished. Honestly, if they can win 1 in every 4 from here on out I would be OK with it.
Saw Thorogood at the old Barrymores in Ottawa, late 80s and yes he did jump on the table to riff.

ReplyDeleteNow the D:
Ghoul out 8 weeks is very sad and a little scary given that it's his knee.

Honda Civic = starting to look outmatched as other teams tighten their play with more discipline, but still steady and not a serious problem.
Wifi = see Tweed above
Maths = get healthy, dammit!
Ghoul = knee sprain, hopefully nothing serious
DeleteMunster = good 3rd pairing guy, playing too high in the rankings
Savard = absolutely correct
Tweed = agreed, good player needs time to get acclimated to the league
Honda Civic = 6 or 7 guy at best
WiFi = going to be a beast
Matheson = good 2nd pairing guy
I forgot Thinman - another 6 or 7 at best.
DeleteBig Bird directed the Blues D to a Stanley cup. This is what we should be training the UTES to do. Keep the puck out of the slot, keep the puck out of the slot. Cant score if you cant put the puck in the slot. No ticky no laundry if you are not in the slot.

JHFFB!
DeleteJuliana Robledo, Bella Hadid, and Alena Aganova are hot.
ReplyDeleteTook almost 3 years but the covid bug finally caught me. Been 4 days of pure misery but finally can at least keep my eyes open. Glad I had all my shots, I might not have made it.
ReplyDeleteIts a beeach, what does not kill you makes you stronger
DeleteI should be pretty strong after this, finally starting eating today even though I can't taste anything.
DeleteSorry to hear it, the M. This thing got through my system in a few days and then took a piece of me that I never fully got back. Take care and get all the time in the world to ease back to a normal routine. Exercise may only give you a setback.
DeleteThanks SiM, at 68 exercise isn't a big priority. Hopefully I can start walking a bit in a few days or so.
DeleteOuf, be well theM. Hopefully Mme theM is OK. A lot of rest !
DeleteHa! She's doing fine, she gave it to me. It's her 2nd bout!
DeleteI'd like to recommend Tony Marinaro's latest podcast, a pretty frank analysis of the Habs, the prospects and the goaltending.
ReplyDeletePretty amusing actually. I like Tony, he's a character.
DeleteAnd finally, Slothkovsky should be back playing in Finland. For at least two years. He is bringing nothing to the table currently. If they don't do something soon, he will be another wasted high pick. I can name at least 6 forwards on Team Canada who are better than he is. Actually, I doubt he even makes the Canadian roster.
ReplyDeleteIt's a worrying trend, no matter the management group, that Habs' first round picks continue to be mismanaged.
DeleteI see another Habs prospect, Owen Beck, was traded for a boatload today too in the OHL. It certainly feels like the future has hope...assuming these young players are properly dealt with.
ReplyDeleteSo I’m watching the chiefs on espn and I watch the Habs in French and if I had to watch hockey with this bunch
ReplyDeleteI think I would loose my mind
They talked about guys cologne and the type of shoes
They’re morans
Complete period
Whoof
Go Habs
Richard should punch useless drouin in the face for that suicide pass.
ReplyDeleteArmy! Trade him while he's hot!
ReplyDeleteQuick! Call bergy right now!
DeleteMan they are a shite team, I don't know if they can be fixed.
ReplyDeleteGoing old school here... GYFHG! JFW!
ReplyDeleteOkay. Time for a shorty. Looking at you, Sevans! Kill it! JHFFB!
ReplyDeleteSloth's line on for both Blues goals. You can raise your hands or shake your head all you want kid, but you belong back in Finland. HuGo and company trying to pound that square peg into that round hole. Ain't gonna work...
ReplyDelete4 min PP... Cash it.
ReplyDeleteHehehehe hehehe... What was I thinking when I typed that... 🤣
DeleteWhat's up Doc?!
ReplyDeleteDach!
ReplyDeleteLet's see if they can hold that till. Intermission...
ReplyDeleteSinging the ole just because your lousy 32nd place PP scored a goal? That's setting the bar kinda low isn't it?
ReplyDeleteRather
DeleteCash it again!
ReplyDeleteHey Druoin found his purpose! Taking sticks in the face. Hilarious Berube arguing with the ref as he's looking down at his tablet and sees the obvious infraction.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't break a wet paper bag
DeleteDrouin thinking his 'blast' from the point on the PP is a better option than getting it down low to CC is interesting.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what all this shit was marek and fried-man were talking about but the NHL has lost it's way regarding this so-called all-star stuff. Does anybody really give a fuck anymore? ReplyDeleteWhiskey!
ReplyDeleteJake is always good for 4. Better pull him now Marty while you still have a chance.
ReplyDeleteGI Finn keep upping that value! Up to a 6th round pick now.
ReplyDeleteGet on that phone Kent!!
ReplyDeletePowerhorse!
ReplyDeleteLol. He steals Druid's first goal.
DeleteWhiskey!
ReplyDeleteGI Finn!
Powerhorse!
JHFFB!!!
Giving it to Drouin. He's hot! Trade him too!
ReplyDeleteLOL first goal in over a calendar year. Gomez.
DeleteWhat I was up to while m8ssing Whiskey's and GI Finn's goals earlier: Spitsbergen

DeleteThat's got a real east coast flair to it...that's meant to be a complement 😁
Muchos gracias

DeleteVery true. It waa needed
DeleteMr. Useless, of all people, plucking that money off the board courtesy of Jake A. and Eddy. Who would have ever guessed.
ReplyDeleteThe world doesn't have to make as much sense as you want it to.
ReplyDeleteAnd thst's my new mantra
Awesome thread. Was at my belated birthday dinner. Best haddock I've had in a while.
ReplyDeleteCan some one stop GI Finn, its a mutiny I tell you.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if moe and Saint Paddy have a little side bet going today?
ReplyDeleteThe loser does the next gameday thread. Go Bills !
DeleteGo Browns! And Jets (I just puked a little in my mouth)
DeleteAnd the loser has to include a pic of the winning team's cheerleaders ( so really FHFers can't lose)
DeleteWe got a tall order winning in Buffalo coming off the week they've had so I expect will need help. I'll take the Steelers over the Dolphins though.
DeleteWell fuck. Two kick return TDs by Nyheem effin Hines ain't gonna help. HTF does that happen?!
DeleteI don't know but the Steelers are kicking Cleveland's arse so you might want to start looking for cheerleader pics... 😳
DeleteAs we've seen this season, anything can happen ...
DeleteLike that catch?
DeleteYa best start rootin' for the Jets. That's a tight one.
DeleteIt was a helluva catch. I can't help but appreciate great plays, even vs the Pats.
DeletePats not done yet
ReplyDeleteOy. That Diggs TD should be the final nail....but it ain't over til it's over.
DeletePats are done.
ReplyDeleteDolphins are in
ReplyDeleteBooo. Fins are in.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the M is the only guy with skin in the game for the playoffs.
Good luck...but not really.
Does that put the Steelers out?
DeleteYep.
DeleteFuck da Jets but fuck Miami harder.
ReplyDeleteSuper entertaining BUF/NE game.
Get well #3.
I'll do the next GDT anyway even though moe and I are both losers.
ReplyDeleteI'll take that asa compliment.
DeleteI don't even know who the Giants play next weekend and don't really care. I thought they might win 6 or 7 games this year. Its all gravy now.
ReplyDeleteSteelers last 8 games were something to build on.
