Awesome. Thanks Moe. Two national treasures. Gzowski was a great interviewer. Favourite bit was when Rocket says he didn't think the Leafs scored a goal when he put five in and got all three stars.
Unless Suzuki scores another 10 or Powerhorse 11 (assuming he's still a Hab in 2 weeks), Caufield in 46 games played will finish as top goal scorer on the team. Whatever goes down this trade deadline, the draft, and offseason, this team needs more proficient goal scorers. And it's been like that for over 25 years.
Spun the ol' Tankathon wheel this morning and I feel the Jeff Gorton lottery luck is going to kick in despite buttman's best efforts to keep the Habs out of it this June. First spin: got #2 with FLA pick, MTL dropped one spot to get #8. Second spin: got #1 with MTL pick, FLA stayed at #12. Giddyup!
Spinal Tap
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the sequel next year. We'll see how the band has faired the past 40 years.

ReplyDeleteIs that good luck?
ReplyDeleteApparently Bargain Bin is scouting the Habs tonight, maybe he will take Droumez back to LA with him tonight. We can only hope...
ReplyDeleteOr it could explain Armia's absence since early in the first period.
DeleteStop toying with our emotions SiM!
DeleteMaths!
ReplyDeleteMathisfun!
ReplyDelete5 goals on 18 shots. Not a stellar night for the 3rd best team in the league.
Dadanov played decent tonight, playing his way out of town.
ReplyDeleteNice road win, boys!
ReplyDeleteDid Armia return?
ReplyDeleteNope. Only played two or three shifts.
DeleteFun game. RHP and nature fit well.

ReplyDeleteCall it a hunch or a gut feeling but I believe Montreal gets pick #1 or 2 in 2023. Hughes gets a chance to redeem himself after the Slaf error.
DeleteWashington Capitals have officially joined the Tank Brigade.
