Fucking hilarious. Ontario native Ryan O'Reilly with his 19 points and -24 are coming home to take the leaf to the land of glory! For only a 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th spread over the next 3 drafts. What a steal! Feels like a familiar story...Gary Roberts, Joe Niewyndyk, Pyjama Boy, etc Plan the parade.
He's 31.... and they gave up 4 picks .... it's the reincarnation of Owen Nolan He'll be 35 and they will still be loosing picks. Can you smell the desperation? That and Captain Underpants just came off his first knee injury, Jonny Toronto is growing old, oh it doesn't bode well for Canada's Team. My oh my. If we slap them around tonight I will spend tomorrow reading all the COTU newspapers. Go Habs
No one has mentioned it but I would say the Blues have gone all in for the Connor Bedard sweepstakes. They will be competing with the Habs for that bottom 5 finish.
Also, after last season I said there would be no way on God's green earth that Montreal would lead the league in man games lost and yet here we are.
Finally, there is no way a rival GM will give up a 1st round pick in 2023 for Sean Monahan. I would sign him in the off season to a reasonable one year 'show me' deal.
I normally can't stand the pre-game sploogefest but I may have to watch and listen tonight to get the full experience of this latest SFU wet dream. Butthurt will be handing out more of his leaf factoids and trivia while Homer Simpson will be singing the praises of awesome matthews ad nauseum.
I just got back from two weeks in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this will be my first hnit since late January. The third week was spent driving down and back, basically 3 days each way.
I'm of the opinion that Kent Hughes should hang on to Monahan and Edmundson. The offers, if any, will be too low. As KH said, the team needs some mentors around. I do think the Hoff will be traded, maybe Badonov and JD is a long shot but I say he stays. G.I. Finn sticks around as well. I think teams will inquire about Dvo, I would move him for the right price.
I did a tankathon spin this morning, first in a while, got #2 with the FLA pick and #8 with MTL pick ... Fantilli and Dvorsky. Good enough for me!
Take as many p[icks as possible. The leaf fools with no picks will take 4 fifth for a 3rd so they can say the have 4 picks in the draft. The Hoff is off to the whalercanes. Daddylove to EDM. Drouin, who still has so much untapped potential, will go to the AVS or to the Flames along with BeeZlolabob to light a new French connection with UBERDOUGH. Drouid is a Darryl sutter type player.
Dumbass = Draft Schmaft we don't need no stinking picks...
The Hoff could end up with the Windbags or the Satans according to some rumours.
Daddynyet to Wash. to play with Ovie.
Droumez, heh, Sutter would eat him alive, he has nothing untapped, it's all there to see. A bag of pucks and some hair gel for the Pez would be a fair trade.
He's coming. The difference between Jean Luc and JD being JL won't have to be the saviour, he'll be insulated by Nature, Dach and CC and whomever else is picked this year, hopefully Bedard or Fantilli.
General Public
ReplyDeleteAnybody take a peek at the leaf networks NHL pages today. A laff-fest indeed. Wonder if they will be able to finally beat the Laval Rocket tonight?

Not a single mention or a. second of time given to the Habs by those fucks.
DeleteArrogant biased pricks.
They couldn't contain their excitement about the newest leaf legend.
DeleteBarron von Trapp in the line-up tonight. Glad he wasn't too hurt at least.
ReplyDeletePretty sad to see the Laff give up so much for another of those "Orrelly men." (Think Manuel in Fawlty Towers).
How come it's not 5-0 for the leaf with all these superstars?
ReplyDeleteWonder what the panel will talk about?
Ha Ha, the clown show panel all wearing leaf blue ..... except Bieksa, he didn't get the memo.
DeleteROR ... puck touches!! 71% on faceoffs!! His kids are watching him play in a leaf jersey!!!
It's incredible what he's doing!!!
All this gambling shit is fucking annoying.
ReplyDeleteMaths!
ReplyDeleteJosh Anderson = leaf killer
ReplyDeleteLate to the party tonight... Powerhorse with a nice goal... No sound for me tonight... Nonone needs to hear the noise
ReplyDeleteCash it boys!
ReplyDelete3-1 leaf...hauntingly familiar scoreline... Just sayin'
ReplyDeleteRegardless of tonight, the Habs win the season series versus the wretched, putrid leaf.
ReplyDeleteSo, FU SFU!!
leaf still going out in the first round
ReplyDeleteHeh heh, leaf lose to tanking Hawks, cancel the parade.

he has so much potentiel, no one can igore that, they only hope they can uleash that for a fifthg rounf pick
DeleteNo less an authority than eMpTy has stated that Droumez will be traded at 2:55pm on March 3rd for a third round pick. Sold!
DeleteSounds as if MonaHab could be tout fini.
ReplyDeleteMunster needs back surgery.
KD is sick with the flu/RSV/?
Jean Luc can't wait to wear the sainted flannel, UK3X won't be happy about that.
If the leaf flop again this spring Narcos will say fuck this shit I'm heading to Vegas... he's UFA after next season.
The only move I don't want to see is one that brings PLD to the Habs... God help us all if that happens.
