  5. Best thing about beating the wretched leaf is the silence it creates from the SFU.

    1. So true. They've shifted their focus to tonight's game against their former coach young Sheldon.

  9. Can't keep a good Lep down. Beaner fans were still cheering the hit on him when he scored.

  11. Geez I lose my connection for a few minutes and miss 2 goals. Caught the replay though, what a play by FastLane.

    Back end needs work.

  13. Weirdly tsn2 is blocked but I can watch the leaf game if I want (which is usually blocked). Thankfully I have access to RDS.

    1. Yeah, I'm blocked as well, don't know what's going on with that. I don't have RDS (yet) but am watching the beaner's feed on a questionable stream. It's not bad since jackass edwards retired.
Habs holding their own so far.

    2. Yeah I found the nesn stream...and tsn2 through the ESPN+ works oddly enough.

    3. No IPTV for me sadly, it all went under.

I would say being badly out played and out musled by the Broons. Size matters and they got size.

  15. Be nice if they would wake up and do something.

  16. I wish Nature would do something. Maybe Slaf and Whisky need Dach in the middle.

    Ouf.

  18. Oh boy.
    Some weak ones for Primo.
BVC not looking good (as suspected).
First line could be less invisible for starters.

  19. Good news is that I don't need to stay up for the 3rd.

  20. CP30 looks terrible tonight. Barron and Maths not much help to him. Might've been wise to dress Pez and Struble. OK no prob. Marchand schooled him in the first period on a takeaway.

Only 2 games in but Coach needs to buckle down.

  26. This is not all the good and bad but just some things that stood out to me.

    Positives - Another PP goal.
good games from the vets Gally and Andy.
Andy becoming a PK specialist is an interesting twist.
IceKap/OK/Kapo didn't look out of place.
FastLane is fun to watch and should be #1 PP QB...still needs some work on his D zone but I sense he's a quick learner. Also he's on a 4 game point streak to start his career. Only 10 more games to tie the Habs' Joe Malone from the 1917-18 season (he had 35G and 2A in 14 games)

    Negatives - Some weak goals.
Overall the D needs work and I hate to say it again, but Haligonian Barron should be in Laval or traded. It looks like HuGo lost that trade of Leko...until you dig and see they traded the draft pick they received in a package to the LAK to move up to get Michael Hage at #21 this year.
Why doesn't Ghoul get time on the PP?
Matheson...loved the offence we got from him last year but we need D D moreso. I agree he is a 2nd pairing.
The first line looked pretty meh. Suzuki needs another gear.

    1. Agree with this.

I'm not getting too upset this early in the season. The D obviously needs work. What frustrates me is how they all get pinned in their own end for long stretches. Whatever happened to high and hard off the glass. Take the icing if you have to. And yeah, Nick needs to pick up the pace, Slaf too.

    2. My bad. I thought FastLane had an assist on the Tronna goal but he didn't.

But he is a career point per game player.

  28. Barron will be really looking over his shoulder. Last night Logan with 2G 1A in a 5-2 win for Laval.

Putting the puck in the net makes sense. Trying to think of a nick other than Wolverine for this guy so searched his surname meaning:

Mailloux is a French surname that is derived from the Old French word "maille," meaning "mesh" or "net." It is believed to have originally been a nickname for someone who worked as a fisherman or a maker of nets.

We need to accelerate the rebuild. Keep Rock fast lane hudson . I have been to both the Hard Rock Cafe and the Rock Hard Cafe. So to rock hard, we should trade everyone else. The rest of the team is not worthy. I have to admit the first two games caused a great deal of panic. Greater than gas panic.
Prima looks stuck in the TFS position where he let in one bad goal every game. Prima lets in one a period. I want him to succed but he will be on Robitia island by US thanksgiving. Baron von clumbsy is on the bubble. MayU had a four pointer last night on the farm, just saying. If we lose to the Sens tonight I am going to reinstall the tank athon and put the T 90's back on the desktop. Other than that I am very positive.
