  2. It would be nice to pummel those swimming birds tonight to :
    1) Show Dumbass how stupid he really is and
    2) Show Sid where he really belongs...

    GO HABS ! !

    ReplyDelete
  3. Sid joins the Habs tonite, we give up CP30 and a bag of pucks.

  4. I wish pundits would stop blabering on about Rock Fast Lane telephone booth skills. That is so last century and not really accurate. He has MRI handling skills.

  5. Monty starts tonight, that's a good sign.

    I wonder as I see the universive unfold if I could be a trans leaf. Maybe all the Belloruski nonsense was just slander? I want the playoffs, I do not care about the money.

    K fucked up there
    I can’t believe the age of dumbasses latest core 4
    Those boys are getting on
    I know sid can still pot a couple but jeeze time to reload
    But dumbass doesn’t know how to do that
    Could’ve used Sid’s last years to mentor but he just hangs on and signs Carlson to a ton
    There’s a time to cut bait
    Anyway go SammyBeau
    Go Habs

  11. So since Josh is no longer the Powerhorse, but honing his skills as a PK specialist out there 'short'handed, should we rename him Shet after the shorties, the Shetland Ponies?

    Tried 2 minutes of Prime hockey. No thanks, don’t need to hear from messier and petrillo.

    8 coast to coast hockey experts and no one from Quebec.

  14. Bell decided to eliminate TSN2 from my cable package and want an extra $7 per month which I refuse to pay. I don't have RDS (yet), Bell wants an extra 4 bucks a month for that channel. So, Amazon Prime will have to do now. It is too bad they couldn't recruit someone from Quebec to be part of the team. Aren't most of the TV folks working for RDS or TVA?

      There’s got to be an a good Anglo hockey person out there. Brian Wilde ?

  15. I'll give it a shot because it's a very clear picture, but right off the bat they mention 'new in-game technology' which makes me very skeptical.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Regarding CHester's comments about the old 'Core Fore' in Pitt, I don't think Dumbass had too many options when he got there. For sure he made a mistake with Karlsson but they couldn't try to draft help for Sid and Malkin because Rutherford and Hextall had traded all their picks away trying to win. It really was a no win situation for Boy Wonder. I think they won't make the playoffs again this season and then they will look at moving on from those guys other than Sid. He will decide when he wants to move on if ever.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Just throw a puck at the net ffs. 6 minutes in and not a sniff. Pens D ain't that good.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Somebody should tell them the game has started.

    Pretty bad when a bunch of senior citizens are controlling the play.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Finally, they woke up. Marty must have yelled at them.

  29. Malkin man. 4th game in 6 nights against tough competition. It's okay. Good entertaining hockey anyway. The Pens played hard.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Kept Sid from getting point 1600. I guess that's something. The talking heads will be retracting their views on Sam and Team Canada no doubt. Fickle fucks.

    1. I agree after the beatdown by the leaf they'll be motivated.

    2. Montreal should have the advantage, this is the 3rd game in 4 nights for LA but, the Habs always seem to find a way to lose these games.

      Delete
  34. Just fucking win boys!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Win this one for the Quebec taxpayers, boys!
    GYFHG!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Two and a half years into a 5 year rebuild. Still can't score and still can't defend.

    Theoretically this should be a relatively easy win but nope not for this bunch.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The fuck happened to Maths?

    ReplyDelete
  38. This team can make look difficult what other teams seem to do with ease. Like scoring goals. A few plays where you'd imagine other teams easily potting goals and our guys are whiffing on pucks or falling down.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Just like the Pens, the Kings came in fired up and played a nearly flawless road game. Habs played like chumps most of the night.

    ReplyDelete
  40. .400 hockey after 5 games.

    Team has a tough time keeping control of the puck, where teams they play seem to have no trouble at all. Worrying.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anonymous10:23 PM

    💩 effort.

    ~~~
    ReplyDelete
  42. That was awful. Well, what little I witnessed. The only one playing with any effort was the smallest and youngest. The coach needs to start benching people. Including his stars. Throw the puck in deep and go get it. Hit the D. It ain't rocket science.
    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous11:25 AM
    If they loose tonite, drastic measures. Fire Hugo, hire Mcsplooge, and bring back Babs.
    ReplyDelete
  44. Whatever 'hybrid' defensive system Marty and Robidas are trying to teach these guys, either the players need to start paying more attention during class or they need to abandon it 'cause it aint working.
    I fully expect another loss tonight.
    ReplyDelete
  45. I tuned in briefly to the KHL channel and can confirm some similarities to North American hockey:
    1. Gambling ads
    2. Cameramen hiliting beauties in the audience.
    ReplyDelete
  46. I know they are only 2.5 years into a (minimum) 5 year rebuild but for the love of Jean Beliveau if they are going to lose games can you at least look somewhat motivated to win? And play with some semblance of structure? I'd like to at least make it to the 3rd period of the game.
    ReplyDelete
  47. So because it's St. Patrick I'm going to be watching tonight so hoping Marty has kicked some ass and the boys come out to win!
    ReplyDelete
  48. CP3O in net. Possibly even younger D in front of him.
    But I'm expecting our first OT game of the season with a FastLane to Whiskey game winner. Worth staying up for.
    1. They look a heck of a lot better than the last game.
      They must have read my comment about throwing the puck in deep and going after it because that is what they are doing. And playing better defensively.
      7Evans is playing like he needs a contract.
  57. Now that's how you do it!
    ReplyDelete
  58. I thought meh 40 seconds left in the period, I'll switch over and catch the end of the soccer, so missed the goal. Glad I could do my small part to get the Habs on the board
    ReplyDelete
  59. thanks for doing your part SaintP! everbody has a role and we should all endeavor to help this bombardier train down its tracks!
    just before that PP started, they panned to StP on the bench. he was chomping on his gum, but he looked really irritated and angry... almost foaming angry. anybody else catch that?
    1. They all have to shave between periods too it seems.
  68. If CP30 had half the rebound control of most NHL goalies,... I mean, Monty, TFS, Pomme, and most others were always able to smother or redirect the puck when their guys were hemmed-in. Rebound control for CP30 has not been a strong point so far this year.
    ReplyDelete
  69. Loving Strobelight's defensive play
    ReplyDelete
  70. Frack! The penalty train is going to kill any chance to eke this one out.
    ReplyDelete
  71. The ex-Powerhorse has reinvented himself as a PK specialist. He did good work on that last one.
    ReplyDelete
  72. For 29...Hang the fuck in there boys!
    ReplyDelete
  73. The fuck was that? First line just coasted into the O zone like they were expecting a whistle or something.
    Then that terrible rebound...
    ReplyDelete
  74. I will watch something else for a bit.
    ReplyDelete
  75. The putrid leaf are losing so that's a morale victory.
    ReplyDelete
  76. Ha! It worked! I switched over to watch the leaf lose and came back to 3-3!
  77. Whisky always looking up at Johnny Hockey when he scores.
  84. That was a tough (SO) loss but a much better effort than Thursday. That's all I ask, make the effort to win and I'll make the effort to watch. As for Fast Lane, that kid is a player. He will be a star.
  87. Things could be worse. How do you think Nashville fans are feeling at the moment ... 0-5-0 ... after Trotz spent gazillions on Stammer, Marsh and Juice? Yikes!
    ReplyDelete
  88. Patriots' new QB Drake 'Maye' be the answer for the future.
    I picked him up and inserted him in my lineup this week and first drive is a TD. Off to a 10-0 lead...whether they win or not, we have a mobile QB that can throw the ball, so there is hope.
    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I have to endure one more year of 'Danny Dimes' and then hopefully the Giants can draft a 'Maye be'.
    Hey you guys are still here? No doubt waiting for my return as saviour. It's pretty clear that MSL has no clue how to coach hockey, especially an exciting young Dman like Lane Hutson! Remember how I moulded PK into a Norris winner?! Of course you do because I was great. Da Habs need me back to right this stinking ship. It's only a matter of time.
  96. So, Whisky is the first Hab to score 6 in 6 since Brian Savage in 1999. Neat. I met Brian here in SJ back in 1994 when he was with the Canadian Olympic team. My then 9 year old son was picked to be with the team and skated with them during the warm up.
    I've got a signed card somewhere. I remember being in Montreal the weekend he was traded to Phoenix for Sergei Berezin. Savage earned the nickname Mr. October.
    2. In NB, I undrstand there is a strong feeling that Irving Oil calls a lot of the shots one way or the other.
      Delete
    3. It's understandable but I believe that is a myth. I've read a book about the Irvings and I don't believe personally they try to influence government any more than any large corporation. If any Irving company would it would be JDI, the forestry company that controls a great deal of Crown land.
      It will be interesting now that the Liberals are back in power. I'm sure they will find new and creative ways to increase the amount of taxes we pay. It's in their DNA.
