Yes and also what happened when I woke up was the lions lost to that kid who seems to be quite good
Sad for Detroit it’s been so long
But you can’t keep throwing the ball to the other guy sheesh
Anyway we hopefully bounce back against the rags and here’s hoping Josh has enough to beat Lamar
But I think the Bills defense against the rush is suspect so you better contain that guy cause he’s got wheels
      Anyway
Hopefully today is a better sports day for CHester
      Go Bills
      Go Habs

    1. It's going to be an economic shitshow on Monday with the Four Horsemen billionaires taking over. If the American people think those clowns care a whit about them, boy, are they in for a rude awakening. The pandemic will seem like a walk in the park. Buckle up folks.

  4. And yes, Jared Goff literally threw that game away yesterday.

    Go Bills and Rams.

  5. im a huge doobie fan also, but i didnt realise they were doing b2b this wknd! in that case, monty swiss cheese was the only option. so yes, u guys are right doobie woulda won that match for us 100%, but im not sure if even TFS did b2b matches.

i agree with u guys this is a learning moment and when up a bunch, u play "prevent defence" . however.... if its necessary to still teach this, at the professional level, with the leadership we have on this team, then omg... we are in waaaaay worse shape than my worst nightmare.

having said all that, vs the rags was one of our greatest comeback victories ever. u guys remember that? so i guess after saying all that i havnt said anything useful cause thats sports

  6. Turds win again. Gotta keep up. Cannot afford losing streaks at this time.

Basically, the only reason I don’t like collingsworth is because he hates the Steelers.

I will say he sees things in the game that are surprisingly good.

craig simpleton is a complete and utter idiot homer.

Hoping for a good sequence by the Rams to tie it up.

    3. Or Barkley will just Barkley them.

      Delete
    4. Joe Schoen should be fired for letting Barkley go. WTF were they thinking...

      Delete
    5. Yeah that's gotta hurt. Especially within the division. But he wouldn't be so dominant in the Giants offence.

  27. Refs seem pretty selective about what they're calling tonight

    ReplyDelete
  28. That's hilarious. The beatings Gallagher has taken in front of opposing nets over the years without getting calls. Then they call that shove by Anderson a crosscheck.

    Then no call on Cryder.

    F these refs.

    Was preoccupied with Josh
    How did Mr Beck do?
Did he fit in or look out of place ?
    Sad for The Pez
I’m guessing it’s the end of his road
We have too many coming up
Nice face punching by Ax man
I guess Rempki has to justify his existence also sad really
I wonder what Mr Gorton is thinking
All those years crafting and then 6’12” no mind Eeesh
    Go Habs

    1. Beck played a contained game. Nothing splashy, but solid defensively and not out of place. More familiarity with his new teammates will help him place passes more effectively as time goes on.

      Delete
    2. BeckO didn't take a penalty to hurt the team. So, sorry Pez. I'll never forget that stick ride though.

      Delete
    3. The stick ride and when he accepted a fight with cement head Reaves late last season when AX was hurt. That took a lot courage and he took a beating for his teammates.

      Delete
    4. CHester9:51 AM

Pez was a gamer and prob popular in the room but didn't quite have it when the Habs started playing serious hockey and mistakes mattered
Too bad for him tho I liked him hope he has a nice landing somewhere
So the ascension of Mr Beck has begun
I see him being the second coming of Carbo or SuperPlexx or that guy that left for the kings
The youth is starting to take over now, 3 solids on D with more coming and not counting Suzi Dactor or Hooker cause they're old we now have 4 solids on offence with more coming
      Future is bright
      Go Habs

  35. That game tying 4-4 goal by Slaf was a great drive to the net. A great breakout by Fast Lane. Both of which have been discussed in the media. What is not being discussed is the extremely skilled play by Caufield to catch that pass and get a shot off as quick as he did. You need to see the behind the goal view, he accepts the one hopper off of his backhand, quickly to his forehand for the SOG and Slaf buries the rebound.

  36. Brian Wilde is onside with our thinking. The time is now to lure Sid to the Habs. He thinks it will take the 2 first round picks and 2 high end prospects (Beck and Mailloux). I still say they would demand DaCH instead of Beck. But it is Boy Wonder Dumbass, so who knows.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The ONLY way that Sid will end up in Montreal is if HE demands it and I really can't see that.

But, I'll play along. One 1st round pick (Montreal), Pitt 2nd round back to them, a 3rd rounder plus Logan, Konyushkov, DVo and Pez.

Let's not forget who holds all the cards here. Kent doesn't need Sid. Pitt is trying to rebuild on the fly so they want NHL ready players more than picks. If Boy Wonder wants Beck I hang up.

      Delete
    2. Those 3 picks are for 2025.

  38. Hockey Junkie might be the best Habs game reviewer out there. With a line like "When Xhekaj Chan drops the mitts and gets that left hand going, guess what, he sends the Rempire State building crashing down!", and all in a fine Nefwanese accent, you gotta love it.
And he has some good merch, t-shirts that read Black Eye from Xhekaj, Frig Da Leafs, JoshuWaWa (this one for the M).

  40. Most teams have 10 games to go before the break. Some as few as 8. A few with 11.
Generally teams will have 55-57 games under their belts. With 6-7 games after the break and before the trade deadline. Habs will probably need to get at least 14 of 20 points before the break. THere are some tests in that span, but assuming the team continues playing like it has, it should be doable.
I wonder if there is a trade freeze associated with this SMITTASG Cup?

Keep the foot on the gas, the pedal to the metal, the foot on the throats of the teams around them and it will make for an interesting deadline and beyond. Haven't been this excited for the team since '21.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm trying to not pay too much attention to the standings. All these .500 teams will probably keep playing the same pace. Just win as many games as possible and let the chips fall.

Interesting to watch the tankage of the beaners and the large flightless birds
Two debatable dynasties on the way down
The birds are being led by dumbass and we know where he’ll take them
Listening to our in house Sid fan club I wonder if dumbass would actually pull the trigger on that
The beaners are another story they actually benched bradley the mongrel and have publicly admitted to a readjustment or some such word
The smouldering pile of compost is clearly in decline
Little mitchie hasn’t been signed jonny toronto is old and creaky and underpants
Is off to Germany for a sex change
Tampon bay is on the decline as well
So makes you wonder who is on the upswing who will be our competition
Who are going to be the next bunch of contenders
    Interesting times
    Go Habs
