  1. Well done sir!

I do not remember Ms Moran.

I think the Maestro is a few years away from growing anything on that baby face, but I'm willing to wait.

I'll be happy with a win tomorrow but would prefer a 12-0 victory with both Suzuki and Caufield beating Sittler's 10 pts record.

    JFW! LFG!

  2. I'll keep this dream alive until he retires, but "Hey Sid, look over here! The Habs are a GOOD team. They're not the same team you pounded 9-2 a short month ago. Maybe you want to consider waiving that no move clause? You know, for the good of the future of the Penguins."

It would cost a lot to get 2 1/2 years of Sid though. Would Dach, Maillioux and 2 firsts do it?
Just thinking out loud. A bit quiet at the office today.

    1. Replace Dach with Beck or Hage and you got a deal. Hell, even give them their 2nd rounder back.

As the ruling history major on the platform I say DOCH. In German it means like I disagree because your position is well outside on everything is in order.
Dach was a man amongst boy at the world Jr. He has the thing the guys you want do not have.

    3. hold on there fellas... maybe old St.P isnt too far off into the neitherlands... for el dachtor... while i agree his game has a high celiing, i also wanna point out i suspect his pro game will be much like powerhorse. when hes on, hes just short of unstoppable, however for those long periods when he isnt... can you stomach the huge lags inbetween?

for this one, im with u St.P. do that deal!

    So two thank yous
    First for more Anna yes
    Second for the Larry pic
As much as I wanted to be like The Roadrunner cause we were similar size speed etc I had a never ending admiration for Larry.
The way he played the way the team played when he was on the ice
The only one that even came close was BBQ
Larry was 6 ft 4 of go fuck yourself
Geoff waited too long to retire no 19 and his dad didn't make it sad really
Don't know what the criteria is in house for number retirement but there are a couple that should be up there Vodkov is one and maybe Saku is another
    anyway
    Go Habs

Hockey is a team game, though somewhat less the football, but a good QB can make a superbowl.
In hockey the best center in the world can do nothing. The first Joel , 7 evens, this are parts of a stanley cup

  6. Gonna watch with the sound off tonight...or in French I suppose...

  7. I hope Doobie's in net tonight but I doubt it. Gotta have a call up - maybe Davidson - and sit Pez, the poor bastard.

Just read that Tom (the yes I'm not smart) Brady will be calling the superbowl on fox
Out of all the broadcast crews available it's gonna be Tom The Dummy jebus
All the colour guys out there are really quite knowledgeable Tony Troy even Collinsworth can say something interesting but tom is just dumb as a post
    Eeeesh
    Go Habs

Anyone curious why the pigfacking séparatistewads at tva aren’t following their sister network’s Canada theme ? Also, too, 25 years of this made for tv Canadiana hockey hype is a complete and utter failure. It is lame, mclame.

  14. Even though he is the better player, I'm actually glad that Timmins didn't pick kachook over KidKoho. Every time I see brady's butt ugly puss I don't think I could have ever cheered for that guy. Reminds me of Clod Lemieux and Micky Ribs, couldn't stand either one of them.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. hold on there old maritimer... as for b. kachook... i agree he fits the mould of dirty lemieux, but those types win you cups. to hell with the new nhl. those guys still lead you to the holy land. i agree those guys have no place in the league, but its a scharade they will be forced out. having said that, you rather him be against you, or on your team?

      Delete
    2. You can have him I'll pass. As the Klingons would say : "He has no honour."

      Delete
    3. Thing is if we drafted Tkachuk in 18, we don't know what may have happened after that. Might not have ended up with Whiskey in 19. Might not have traded for Suzuki (though probably). Might not have had the run in 21. Etc. So I guess KK was the right pick to get us where we are today.

I was accepting of Claude's antics until he turtled hard after a player went back at him after a dirty shot. I was done with him then.

  15. Damn these 3 pt games. Habs just have to take care of their own business I guess.

The game is on NHL Network. If there is a god, it will not be just a SN feed. 🤞

Meanwhile, good football game happening in KC.

Hockey day in sportsnet’s mclame mind
    - “here for hockey” , liars, “here for leaf hockey”
    - Um, no mclame, it isn’t canadiana as you’ve ruined it
    - mclame looks like an old scrotum
    - the most unCanadian thing is to pat oneself on the back and talk about oneself, sfu do nothing but
    - maybe show some ‘beautiful’ Whiskey goals
    - … gambling ad
    - Habs game, so far almost no talk about the Habs, best team since Dec. 1st
    - QR codes on my tv screen is the stupidest thing
    - … more gambling ads
    - fried man has a face for radio
    - more narcissism, nobody cares about you slugs
    - never disliked Sather

In theory a team can pull a goalie at any time and play 6 on 5 and potentially score. So why when it happens during a delayed penalty is it cancelled?

Also, too, never, ever give the leaf and/or the sfu credit for anything.

fwiw... in the 1st intermission bieksa gave credit to wifi refusing to fight cemementhead. gave him props for gesturing to the scoreboard. im indifferent on the merits to that. if they fight, so what? reves winning could be a catylst for a comeback. wifi winning could cement the victory. kinda wished he did drop the gloves and send the message that the default response from this team is to match your thuggery instead of taking the high road.

  58. So i left things in good hands after the first...as my daughter likes to say...What The Actual Fuck!

    1. A mix of Leafs getting all the bounces and caitalizing on every good chance, Monty habingvan off might, Woll being outstanding, Habs not moving their feet at times but failing to bury chances, and the refs closing their eyes in the last two periods on egregious Leafs, while finding stupid penalties to call on the Habs (esp. On Savvy and Lane). Might've won with Doobie in net.

      Delete
  59. When Montreal went up 3 zip the refs called 4 straight penalties on them and shifted the momentum to the leaf side. The Montreal players decided to play run and gun and paid for it. Stupid.

I won't be watching the next game between these two teams live. Too frustrating to be bothered. Probably take a pass tonight as well, this one stung too much.

Well learn from this boys you have to play the entire game.
    Shit
    Go Habs

    ReplyDelete
  62. I see that Brian Wilde pointed to the problem...once the Habs got up 3 zip that should have killed the game dead. Shoulda played smart - they are not used to having a big lead any more As the M said - they kept playing Run and gun - they didn't need to - they shoulda put the crowd to sleep. Oh well...here's hoping Dobbie lights it up tonight
