People want to know what makes me extra stupid. First I cant do math. Second used to like to read, like I read the whole library in high school and launched a law suit to get some god dammed new books without people fucking trees. I went to the astral plane shortly after that. I have walked the line on the six astral plane at least a dozen times. One time my mind left my body and here I am today.
I dont need nothing to push my pull opinion. No one wants my world and that I understand completely. Still here I am still breathing, without a WitCHer to CHallange me. I avoid legal messes like Burka looking up female dresses.

  3. Gee, opening up this new thread was a real eye opener!
It reminded me of a time when a group of us would go camping each year. That year we went to Kejimkujik National Park in the south of Nova Scotia (the M would know this well). Beautiful park.
Anyway, there was a golf course near the park. More of a farm that was converted, but a decent 9 holes for what we needed. We played the course on a hot, hot day. After the round, there was a young fella working at the 'clubhouse' and he said (you have to think of this in a Lunenburg County drawl, which sounds a bit like a Boston accent mixed with a Maine accent if you know those)...and anyway he said "Would y'all care for a popsicle?" What a nice gesture. Seeing the opening pic of this thread make me think "Yes, please...give me one of your popsicles. Make it 2 actually. Thank you."

It reminds me so muCH of the Knights tale with Heath Leger. Joey trade in your Windows 7 for 11.

However if you want to show anyone what it means to be Canadian you may start with some CBC shit like Brett Butt. Trailor park boys get you ready for everything. Like what if you get crabs because your cathouse was taken over by prostiutes without your knowlege. School and living in other countries does not teach you this stuff. 20. There are/were two individuals in the Canadiens' organization that, if traded, I wouldn't be sad to see them go. One has moved on, I suspect the other won't be too far behind. I won't name names but it's not hard to figure out who. I always felt they did not fit into the current culture being generated by the team's leaders, Nature, CC, Lep, Powerhorse, etc. Better days are ahead.

We've been back almost three weeks now from our UK adventure and I'm finally feeling normal and played my best golf game of the year. Shot 83 from the mid tees, everything was working for me today. Great drives off the tee, kept the ball in play on every hole except two but managed to recover each time. Putting and short game all there. Today was my 20th round, 5 more and I'm playing for free. Sort of. 25 rounds of green fees with a cart equals a yearly membership fee.

  33. I'm freshly back from the land of no internet! Was that a HF29ism?

Mrs Pad just inherited her maternal homestead, a 150 year old Dutch Colonial that has seen better days as it's only been lived in for a few weeks each summer for the past 40 years. It's livable but needs a LOT of work. Like we need to win a lottery amount of work. So we'll just put some lipstick on the pig and make it as best as we can.
It is near the end of the earth, about 20 minutes from Canso, NS which is hosting the 29th annual Stan Rogers Folk Festival. We went to the "Celebration of John Prine" concert on Thursday night. Amazing! It was his band fronted by 10 different artists (mostly local and awesome) which swapped out every song. Some incredible renditions of many of his greatest songs. My fave might have been Newfoundland's Mick Davis (formerly of The Novaks) doing 'Automobile'.

Looking forward to catching up on ST:SNW
Mrs Pad and I just finished season 1 of Mayor of Kingstown with Jeremy Renner. It's a dark and gritty prison town drama. Violent. Excellent.
Season 1 was filmed at Kingston and Hamilton but apparently 2 and 3 moved filming to Pittsburgh.

Bruce's been getting that same vibe and communicating it to the PM's team, presumably. I do think there's a big play gor time right now, but all this tariff BS is not art of Vance's agenda, just Trump's. So as bad as a JD POTUS will be once he succeeds the barely-functional current MAGA leader, I expect most tariffs will be removed, and any trade wars will be used solely where useful to him as an ideological cudgel. But the retooling for e-cars might be sliwed down a lot, regardless.

We might be able to coast on CUSMA for a couple of years. The 35% is on non cusma goods, almost everything is CUSMA. Steel and Alu remain a big problem. Fact is America believes we pay the tarrifs. Trump needs his national sales tax to give more tax cuts. It a very crooked peice of time. There is no better person than Mark Carney to find a path forward.
