Does anyone over some age believe Tom touched a titte. I say let the Sheiff re create the gunfight at the oK corral. BTW the last scumbag who crawed away won this fight because a Robber Barron was in London looking to fund a railway.

I never thought I would see a shot where torpedo tits where better, but Sydney Sweeny has proved the future is alway better.

  3. I would have given Doobie the net tonight and let Monty have the pHuckers Tuesday.
Monty is giving up 3.82 per game, better get 5 tonight to be safe.

    1. MSL won't throw any player under the bus. He's showing respect to the guy who started 62 games and helped them snag a playoff spot just a few months ago. It fits with the team vibe and Monty has reportedly been working hard in practice, a consummate pro.

      Delete
    2. But I do very much like seeing #75 in nets, and I think he might emerge as the #1 as the season progresses.

    3. its not about showing respect to the guy who played 62 last yr. its about giving him the easiest way to regain his game. between the two teams, you give the guy struggling the easier match-up. thats what the team did with cp30 all those yrs. he couldnt level up so finally, the team cut him loose. with monty, the team has been far too much patient with this guy. for me... its been ages since he has improved. every game, theres a beachball which goes in. he is trash and all u guys are too soft on him.

sorry for rant SiM. dobbie is the best way forward until the lil ducker comes into play.

    1. Quite exciting. And no bus or Metro service at all to help schlep fans to downtown McGill Stadium (on strike). Imagine how sparse the Big O would be!

  5. Great batch of shots, moeman, including that impressive mosaic.

Note that the Big O tower was only finally completed in 1987, something neither Dawson nor Carter were ever able to see (as Expos).

    2. Looking at teams that might want to start rebuilding, besides Calgary, and assuming Sid is staying put, there is Brayden Schenn St. Louis Blues 34 years old, $6.5mil for 2 more years.
Ryan O'Reilly 34 $4.5mil 2 more years Nashville or Stamkos 35 but Nashville would have to retain some of that $8mil plus Stammer has a NMC.

  75. I feel a little bit bad for jays fans this morning. Sports broadcasters however, can eff off.

I will NEVER feel bad for leaf fans. I hope their team loses for eternity.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Not sure Dach will ever be a 2C, just doesn't have it defensively, low percentage faceoff wins, still struggling offensively. Brian Wilde suggests he would be a decent winger, he was during that stint with Nature and CC. I think he is a swing and a miss by HuGo but hey, you can't win 'em all.

Funny note from last night, apparently Cousins offered to fight Lep and RoCH but they both said nope, you've got to deal with that guy over there - - pointing at Struble. Another side note, Georges Laraque said on sports radio that Cousins wouldn't finish the game. And he was right, Cousins went to the room after the fight and didn't return. The moral of the story : you take liberties with the Habs stars you will pay eventually.
