Does anyone over some age believe Tom touched a titte. I say let the Sheiff re create the gunfight at the oK corral. BTW the last scumbag who crawed away won this fight because a Robber Barron was in London looking to fund a railway.
MSL won't throw any player under the bus. He's showing respect to the guy who started 62 games and helped them snag a playoff spot just a few months ago. It fits with the team vibe and Monty has reportedly been working hard in practice, a consummate pro.
its not about showing respect to the guy who played 62 last yr. its about giving him the easiest way to regain his game. between the two teams, you give the guy struggling the easier match-up. thats what the team did with cp30 all those yrs. he couldnt level up so finally, the team cut him loose. with monty, the team has been far too much patient with this guy. for me... its been ages since he has improved. every game, theres a beachball which goes in. he is trash and all u guys are too soft on him.
sorry for rant SiM. dobbie is the best way forward until the lil ducker comes into play.
All I know is, based on recent events, a lot of people are disappointed that the PM bent the knee again to the orange pedophile. All he had to do was stay quiet and ignore that prick in South Korea.
Anyway, watching the fried man and haharudy shilling their gambling site reminds me of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon where a character would be tempted to bet bet bet bet bet bet.......
great intro with the images! ignore those haters who dont appreciate the greatness of ai helping imagine our greats admiring the greatness of the big-O.
any thoughts for gm7 boys?
before u guys spew hate for bjs... ill share something pointed out to me by someobody who cheered for the nords: last WS win for them was followed by a cup win by us. and the math says that was 33 yrs ago. this is something to hang our hats on eh?
no ch.3 lnh en francais since 1995? and no citytv for me. local blackout or maybe its in the national interest i watch the "world" series? sorry guys. catch the highlites later tn.
wifi is playing right? and hes gonna settle the score with that bitchass punk who was running around in the preseason, right? (or was that him who just got put on waivers few days ago to save his life?)
You don't throw away a divisional game because you want to 'respect your goalie'. This was a mistake by the coach. Could've and should've played monty against pHilthy.
Looking at teams that might want to start rebuilding, besides Calgary, and assuming Sid is staying put, there is Brayden Schenn St. Louis Blues 34 years old, $6.5mil for 2 more years. Ryan O'Reilly 34 $4.5mil 2 more years Nashville or Stamkos 35 but Nashville would have to retain some of that $8mil plus Stammer has a NMC.
So the speculation is now when the wheels will fall off and The Habs will sink back to mediocrity Young team long season So we're going to have a slump sometime so let's make hay while the sun shines and keep on keeping on Cause points are points Go Habs
Didn't want to say anything last night but in the pregame they went on how in 93 the Habs won in the spring and then the Jays win in the fall. They didn't mention how a Canadian team lost in the final this spring.
Is it me but why do sportscasters, sitting behind a desk say words like gut punching, heartbreaking, depressing and hurting ? I felt none of that. Must be me.
Not sure Dach will ever be a 2C, just doesn't have it defensively, low percentage faceoff wins, still struggling offensively. Brian Wilde suggests he would be a decent winger, he was during that stint with Nature and CC. I think he is a swing and a miss by HuGo but hey, you can't win 'em all.
Funny note from last night, apparently Cousins offered to fight Lep and RoCH but they both said nope, you've got to deal with that guy over there - - pointing at Struble. Another side note, Georges Laraque said on sports radio that Cousins wouldn't finish the game. And he was right, Cousins went to the room after the fight and didn't return. The moral of the story : you take liberties with the Habs stars you will pay eventually.
FHFeel Good.

ReplyDeleteI never thought I would see a shot where torpedo tits where better, but Sydney Sweeny has proved the future is alway better.
ReplyDeleteRaquel!
ReplyDeleteI would have given Doobie the net tonight and let Monty have the pHuckers Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteMonty is giving up 3.82 per game, better get 5 tonight to be safe.

DeleteBut I do very much like seeing #75 in nets, and I think he might emerge as the #1 as the season progresses.
Deleteits not about showing respect to the guy who played 62 last yr. its about giving him the easiest way to regain his game. between the two teams, you give the guy struggling the easier match-up. thats what the team did with cp30 all those yrs. he couldnt level up so finally, the team cut him loose. with monty, the team has been far too much patient with this guy. for me... its been ages since he has improved. every game, theres a beachball which goes in. he is trash and all u guys are too soft on him.
Deletesorry for rant SiM. dobbie is the best way forward until the lil ducker comes into play.
Als ! Nice win. tsn quite disappointed.
ReplyDeleteQuite exciting. And no bus or Metro service at all to help schlep fans to downtown McGill Stadium (on strike). Imagine how sparse the Big O would be!
DeleteGreat batch of shots, moeman, including that impressive mosaic.
ReplyDeleteNote that the Big O tower was only finally completed in 1987, something neither Dawson nor Carter were ever able to see (as Expos).
👍🏻
DeleteThere’s the arrogance and ignorance of tronna on full display as hnit leads with their jays, not mine.
ReplyDeletemclame has the most punchable face on Canadian tv (when poilievre) isn’t on my screen.

DeleteWe shouldn’t give them short shrift, about the Habs, when they just did.
ReplyDeleteAh, the long term. Bottershill and hahahrudey giving Habs advice. Stfu
ReplyDeleteIt really should be renamed The McLame Panel.
ReplyDeleteFirst I've watched it this year. Might be the last.
Mind bogglingly awful.
DeleteFirst time this season because the Habs are headlining.
They are all stupendously pathetic. Boring, moronic, useless.
Off topic but I would hazard a guess we'll be voting again in December.
ReplyDeleteHope not.
DeleteIs what remains of the federal NDP that stupid ?
All I know is, based on recent events, a lot of people are disappointed that the PM bent the knee again to the orange pedophile. All he had to do was stay quiet and ignore that prick in South Korea.
Deletedont underestimate the stupidity of the NDP. arent they also lacking a leader at the moment?
DeleteDippers got no leader, no unity and no war chest. But lots of dumb to spare.
DeleteAnyway, watching the fried man and haharudy shilling their gambling site reminds me of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon where a character would be tempted to bet bet bet bet bet bet.......
ReplyDeleteThey can go lower … and they will.
DeleteWonder if they tell their grandchildren that betting is fun.
Zero morals. Zero.
I despise all this betting shite. It's the ruination of sports. More people will get caught doing bad things, just a matter of time.
DeleteI agree, anti-gambler here. It's a bum's rush.
DeleteLooking forward to some fireworks tonight in the Phone Booth.

The Sens will regret getting MacDermid. Classless, talentless slug.
ReplyDeleteWho's this MacDickhead for the Sens? Fuck off.
ReplyDeleteAX beat up their former goon so they traded him for this MacDermid goon.

Good for Veleno. What a joke this Senaturds team culture is, just like their dimwit goon captain.
ReplyDeleteCoached by a clown.
DeleteSo how is that hit before the fight not an interference penalty? The hit was well before RoCH got to the puck.
ReplyDeleteOdds these refs bet on the game ? Let’s ask mclame.
ReplyDelete2 more points for Nature …
ReplyDeleteWhen I titled the thread ‘Hittin’ , i kinda was hoping for lots of hits.

ReplyDeleteWasn’t happening.
DeleteFU TO war room.
ReplyDeleteThe Habs just got bettmanned...
ReplyDeleteOr is that Bet365247?
1. I think it should count.
ReplyDelete2. If that was Brendan Gallagher in Ottawa's crease, it would definitely not count.
So fuck the war room.
^^^^^^^^^ this.
Delete100% yep
DeleteHabs are moving up.
ReplyDeleteRefs know this.
War room too.
There will be lots of officiating challenges this season.
Get used to it.
I have a bad feeling about this game.
ReplyDeleteWatch Lego pot the winner...
Good work Strobe.
ReplyDeleteCousins finally paid for his crime.
DeleteNot enough.
DeleteHabs have fallen asleep...
ReplyDeleteI knew it.
ReplyDeleteGawley going on about the beautiful shot by the Diver.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and Monty gave him half the net.

ReplyDeleteBatherson's godfather is Matt Minglewood.

DeletePretty sure Matt Minglwood is a Batherson, Drake's uncle I think?
DeleteRoy Batherson.
DeleteOh yeah that sounds right . Great uncle I think.
DeleteYoungest team in the NHL.
ReplyDeleteIt shows at times.
DeleteThey sure could use a veteran 2C not named Kadri.

I think only fine tuning from here. Good CHemistry afoot. Dach is the #2 C just like on the order sheet. In HuGo we trust

ReplyDeleteBye bye jays
ReplyDeleteGo Habs
Best thing about this Wotld Series is how TO must realise: No Felipe-ball, no festivus
ReplyDeleteAs Narcos says, shit happens.
DeletePretty sure this game thread saluting the Expos had something to do with it.
ReplyDeleteMontreal sports trifecta: Als win, Hsbs win, TO not so much.

I feel a little bit bad for jays fans this morning. Sports broadcasters however, can eff off.
ReplyDeleteI will NEVER feel bad for leaf fans. I hope their team loses for eternity.
