  1. Lovely combo, moeman. I think tonight we'll see a different Sabres team, with less antics and more hockey. Whether they do make the right adjustments, it really will come down to how the Habs react. Gonna be an exciting game, one way or another. GYFPHG!

  3. Looks like we'll see Luke Schenn, Timmins and Luukkonen in goal tonight. Lyon was not the problem so I guess it's more about shaking things up any way they can.

  11. I am 67 years old. I have lost faith in everything except the Habs. For decades the opposite was true. If the Habs have destroyed faith in the world I endosrs this positon. Be like the Habs, be better, care for each other.

  13. Restraint is one of my core principles. But tonite I have to break the shackelse. 9 to one Habs. Hattie for Demigod. You can take that to the bank or the crypoto vault, you will get the same return,

    1. I was in a band with a Cornerbrook Newfie once. He introduced me a bit of Newfie lore. A killock is a homemade anchor from rocks and sticks. Its curved claw serves a a hook. Newhook = Killick's Claw, which was also the name of a short-lived celtic-style acoustic band we had going once.

  31. Hey all, watched the first period at thbar while playing trivia so have no idea what the fuck was going on with all the challenges. Anyway, that was probably one of the flukiest goals of all time in the second. OK, put this sucker away in the 3rd. Like the Cobra Kai motto -- Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy.

Prior to leaving Montreal this morning, #Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff was about the officiating in GM4 & said he thinks #Habs players were going down easy...

Martin St-Louis was asked about Ruff's comment: "is he talking about his team too?" he said with a smirk.

  42. Full disclosure, I watch the Kyper and Bourne show on YouTube, usually later in the evening. They are 100% leaf blowers, especially the host Sammy McKee. I'll listen to the leaf blowing, moreso when the leaf are sucking as they are now or when bad shite is happening to them. Next year should be really fun.
More than once all three of them have proclaimed the leaf as 'the greatest or most important franchise in the league.' One time McKee said 'in the world'. The other day the O-Dog was arguing with Mike Johnson and repeated that claim.

    My question is... why?
What makes them so much more important than New York? Or Montreal? Detroit? Chicago?
Do they contribute more money to the league than anyone else?
I would really like to know the reasoning behind that thought. Other than the obvious bias from 4 people based in Toronto.

  43. Best comment I have seen in quite some time.
I had to share, purely because I'm a Nova Scotian too...

The diving narrative is pure Toronto based media bullshit.

Habs drive thru, not dive thru.

Bolts and Sabres are very skilled at diving, Habs have to beat refs too in most games this playoff.

Here's some Nova Scotia based narrative, American born players of this era are experts.

    Fuck Lindy Ruff.

They probably have Butch Cassidy lined up to take over.
Knob said that the Oilers don't have the structure to win.
