So kane was furious about the face-off being at centre ice before the goal, was that incorrect? Maybe he's just pissed that he missed an empty net. Kama for enstrom's dive.
"Paul Maurice's men couldn't catch a break, as four of their shots rang off the post, including Mark Scheifele's snap shot late in the first period after a giveaway by P.K. Subban in the neutral zone, and another with 90 seconds remaining in the game."
fuck the torontosportsnetwork, they never say the Habs "can't catch a break" when it happens to them and of course they will focus on PFK's mistakes because pylon the proncess never makes any.
Nice. His son dropped the puck in honour of his dad Cpl. Cirillo’s cousin, Ryan Stepien, plays for the local Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.(video in the link) Look at him in the jersey, so sweet. I will pray for this angel who lost his dad at the hands of a coward.
Well well well!...A shuttie for TFS and from the comments, a pretty decent game overall by the Habs - no PP goals again but lets no hope for the cure to all our ailments in one game...I will watch the condensed game on Game Centre later for more inspiration...Go Habs Go!!
Hi folks! I watched the game last night on Snet (I have no french options) and it was fucking hilarious how several times they were pumping up the game tonight between Boston and the leaf. They repeated incessantly how this was a huge rivalry, motivated by a mutual hatred for each other. WHAT A FUCKING JOKE! I would guess that Boston regards the ridiculous leaf as a minor annoyance at best, not even worthy of a powerful emotion like hatred. There's only ONE team the B's hate and they are playing them tomorrow night. But you just keep pretending mediots.
An expression comes to mind when describing Sportsnet/TSN/ml$e: self fellating morons. I've excluded cbcockroaches as they have been made irrelevant.
In the minds of mlse media, the leaf making it to 1 playoff round going all the way to a game 7 was a major coup in hockey history, all the while ignoring the fact that the broons were not having a stellar season to begin with and that it was a short-season, the leaf simply ran out of regular season games before their annual drop out of the playoffs normally begins.
They keep trying to tell us that the Habs/leafs is a giant rivalry too, so that when the leaf win those games it's a huge triumph, nearly parade worthy. Meanwhile the Habs and we, their fans, know that 'rivalry' is a distant second to the broon rivalry. I don't care what you say - there aren't two teams in North American professional sports that hate each other more.
As much distaste that I have for tsn, their broadcasts were smooth and somewhat informative and entertaining. These SN broadcasts are hard to watch. It feels like amateur hour. And I'm not liking Jason York as colour guy. He tries to pretend he's the 'Habs guy' but you an tell it's an act. I'd much rather to see Knuckles in that chair just to see how he'd do in a game situation. I even liked (ex leaf and broon i think) Dave Reid better as the colour guy.
The CotU mediots always find a way to make leaf opponents somehow a 'rival'. Funny how desperate they are to make their team relevant. Here's an idea, win a playoff series or two or just make the fucking playoffs in a legitimate full season. BTW, it/they will only get worse, never better.
Many in the media are lamenting the fact that this the second time the broons have to face the Habs after playing the night before. Unfair! they screech, forgetting that the Habs had to face the broons after playing the night before every time they met last season save for once. And, if I'm not mistaken, the Habs have the most back to back games this season in the league. At the end of this month they will play back to back, then 4 days off and then back to back again. Because that makes sense.
CHar was supposed to be at practice today but because Dallas was on a road trip, the had to go back to Dallas pick up a few things including his passport.
Wooot!!!
ReplyDeleteShut-out for TFS, well-deserved.
Icecream!
ReplyDeletethat was alright
ReplyDeleteimagine how good this team will be with a 40 year old D in the lineup!
I think it's also a cap dump for next season. I heard somewhere that the cap is not going up as originally projected.
DeleteBring on the broons!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for making this so much FHFun!
ReplyDeleteGo Hawks!
ReplyDeleteHabs tied for best in the league currently, though they're down to 3rd on tie breakers. Almost back to par on goal differential!
ReplyDeleteOh Canada

ReplyDeleteIts almost time for the nuclear option on the PP. Push the Urologist button!
ReplyDelete@HunterZThompson watching Habs on PP is like watching a crew of Amish men work an electrical panel. #clueless
ReplyDeleteYep, Melnick knows his stuff, but why isn't MT trying something different? Maybe CHar will help.
DeleteI swapped out 2 channels for TVA fuck mlse driven media. Maybe I'll what the broons/laffs tonight.

ReplyDeletewhen your his age you tend to forget things.
Deletekessel scores but on the replay you see the puck hit either a player or a stick on the leaf bench it gets deflected right in front of kessel.
ReplyDeleteRask gets pulled after 3 goals in the span of about 4-5? mins beginning of the 2nd.
ReplyDeleteleaf 6 broons 1 Going to be a media frenzy starting in 5,4,3,2,1 and go.
