Hey folks, been down and out with a bad flu bug. No fucking leaf to be seen tonight, but rest assured their fanboy talking head hacks will be drooling over their FIRST OVERALL team. Book it.

    1. Tampa is beating the phucking phlyers, so they won't be in first if that keeps up.

    2. I'm sure it will be all about Willy. Fine, Habs just need to quietly stay on their heels, don't want those 2 faced hacks pretending to care about our team anyway.

    3. If DGMB does not offer sheet Willy he should lose his Willy.

  6. Really looking forward to the game. Apparently the Nucks are in a bit of the suck so we have a great CHance to beat them. Plus I have not seen the 3 rookie ish dream team. I think at least one is out.

Why we cant have nice things Vancouver edition. After 6 years of wrangling all the mayors agreed to a LRT transit plan. Sure enough some asshole got elected in Surrey who wants a (elevated)subway.(what an oxymoron)

      Heh. Feisty...

We have language issues here in N.B. I've come to the conclusion that the francophone elitists cause trouble. The commissioner of official languages last week said "there is always a 'place' for unilingual anglophones to work in government". How considerate of him.

    1. Oleg, I have a public transit fetish. Did you know that in 1987 Singapore had no subway system for its 3 million people. Today it has nearly 200Km and makes a profit. They also have public housing for 80% of the population which is now about 6 million. Canada has resources and a GDP of 2 trillion, Singapore has people and best practices goverment and a GDP of 500 billion.

  28. The big diff between this year and recent history. When we are down a goal in the third the game is not over.

  29. PatCHes watch and its not pretty. 16 games, 4 points, 2 goals and a minus 6. Thats not even a swatch let alone a Rolex.

    1. Funny how this tracks so closely with Sauce's inability to mesh productively with them eh? It seemed like a poor match to me; family man with a fourth on the way relocating to the least family-oriented market imaginable - plus, no longer a day's drive away from the CT-based Pacioretty parents. Hope for the best, but you gotta figure "HAVE I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE?!?" is probably haunting Patches every waking minute.

  30. OKAY, FHFers, sorry I was offline for the party last night. Great game to finish this swing with! What a perfect shot by Druid for the win. I was listening to our TSN690 boys (Sergio Momesso is underappreciated) in the car when that was scored, as well as the SSR Texas Two-step (bow to your partner, do-see-do, did I just score?) marker to tie it up. As Steve points out, coming back in the third is something we haven't experienced much round these parts since the pre-Chocula days. Love it!

oleg, moey, glad you're commenting again and adding to the good mojo

the M, good call staying off the sauce (enjoy the Sauce, meanwhile!) and get better soon. This winter is gonna be a nasty I fear, especially for those of us living east of the COTU

Saint Pad, moeman, thanks as always for hosting with such aplomb. And may your pooch enjoy the remainder of their days in warm companionship, as moeman said.

K3X, keep the wankers in the UK from fucking up this Brexit crap, if that's even possible. May May get the the boot and some semblance of order return. The Good Friday agreement was one of the most incredibly positive peaceful political outcomes of my lifetime, and it would be a shame if it got scuppered by these wing-nuts.
