11PM and 1030PM - too late for this fella. Maybe 1 period. Actually considered taking Friday off and stay up late for the Thursday game, but I only get 7 weeks vacation...
Yep, way too late a start for this senior citizen. As much as I despise Bell, I like my pvr. Record the game, get up at my leisure, grab a bowl of mini wheats, a cup o' java and watch them play.
Nicely done St. Pad. Not gonna be on line tonight either...only because I gotta get up to work from home...Spend my life on Teams calls but it is what it is. JUST FUCKING WIN! GYFHG!
I should have moved to Vancouver when I was old enough to move. But I did not but my daughter now lives in Victoria. Its going to be 5 to one Habs. We dont even need to say Go Habs Go anymore
With NHL teams trying to wring out every bit of cap space, we are seeing players being moved to taxi squads. Top players. The Montreal Canadiens have out Jesperi Kotkaniemi on the taxi squad to gain Cap Space. He has a $925,000 salary cap hit, so the Habs save around 8k day that they keep Kotkaniemi on the taxi squad..
Kotkaniemi is on a one-way contract, so while the Habs save cap space, they still pay Jesperi his full salaries.
Why are the Habs doing this? Perhaps it is just to make sure they have as much room as possible down the line....but at least two sources today have implied the Canadiens may be up to something else here...Dubois?
“Not yet” a source replied via text. They have something more immediate today they are working on.
I am calling around to try and find out more...so stay tuned... I am on the record KidKo and a first for Picard, and not a cent more
how the fxxx do u guys know about that place!!! hahahahahaahahahahahaa! omg u just made my day! habsolutely fabulous. joke delivery is all about timing and u always nail it!
most of the idiots out here prob never heard of it! next time u out here, lemme know. im taking ya to no.5 (if u know what that is... heheheheheheh)
So as confirmed that while Habs D will take cross checking penalties if they touch anybody, kidA will never draw one. Took one high on the chest/neck area right in front of Wanker and no call.
hahhahahah! only 39 comments but tits ok. you guys 3 ahead.
Tyder! hahhahahah! i love it. fantastic stuff! who coined that? was it martimer doing the honours for his countrymen?
i just did the most epic troll job to all my fairweather cancuk friends. 1. prematch, i sent them this photo: https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/toffoli-scores-overtime-winner-to-lead-canucks-over-canadiens-4-3-1.4827910 and i put in a comment that something just doesnt seem right about this photograph. when you score, you are supposed to be jumping around super happy.
2. it would have been better had they finished it properly, but i sent them this photo afterwards anyways: https://hockey30.com/nouvelles/selon-un-journaliste-de-los-angeles-tyler-toffoli/ and i put in a comment: now thats they tyler i like to see smiling!
living out here, it always feels great to be hated the next morning.
is it just me or is Tyder always smiling and thoroughly enjoying himself wherever, whenever? love that attitude.
itjmo2... does kidG always get shafted (in the mouth)?
Well a loser point is more than I thought they'd get after watching the 1st. Toffee (aka Tyder) with a hattie against his former team is nice. Nice to see KK get on the board. Penalties again their undoing. That is not sustainable. Not sure how the officiating was after the first, but they need to find a way to stay out of the box. Speaking of penalties, I think the 5-5 tying goal by the Canucks is a direct result of Weber being afraid to take one by removing Petterson from in front of Carey Price. He knows if he touches him he goes to the box.
Hopefully Le Serpent de Pomme has a better night than TFS.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with what was said above. Price not good, too many penalties, a valiant effort however. Two things I will add, Drouin is useless and Tatar is sneaky good.
Ditto on GIJoel/Army's health. And I hope Myers isn't suspended for that hit. Prior to that he took 3 lazy penalties for interference. Even if the Habs can't score on the PP all of a sudden, it's still a boost and keeps them even at best, so perhaps it's better to have him in the lineup...
That was a dirty blindside hit on GI Finn. Myers will be gone for a couple at least.
Just finished watching the Habs demolish an undermanned Knucklehead team. I expect more of the same Saturday night and the Van players should keep their heads up when approaching the Habs end.
Is it just me or does it seem the Habs are getting more favorable bounces than usual? The puck seems to be following certain players I've noticed.
leaf superstar auston matthews to mis tonight's game with 'upper body soreness'. LMFAO! How many games would he miss if he took the beatings KidG does? What a fucking whiny bitch #34 is.
Well that was pleasant. Hope Army is OK he appears to have a hard head. That works in his favor. My guess is that Meat is in tonight and the two oldies are in also. Just guessing. HEY FUCK UNDEFEATED. Does the dance. Go Habs
No hearing for that POS Myers. Said contact was mostly body. Hmmm... Good job then or Army would be dead I suppose. Player safety is a joke! RIP Hank Aaron
I don't want any changes to the defence. This is why they signed Perry and Frolik.
If the Habs stay out of the sin bin I don't see Van giving them much trouble. I wonder how many of the sfu leaf fanboy hacks saw the Habs coming home from a 6 game road trip with at least 8 points? Answer: none.
Part of the NHL's explanation was: "the head was NOT [emphasis: theirs] main point of contact..."
...to which I replied: "So, a wicked blindside headshot that causes a serious concussion and knocks the player off his feet crashing to the ice is perfectly fine as long as some other portion of his body took an even harder impact? Plsyer safety my ass!" Complete joke. --SiM
Nickname for Perry: the Commodore, sfter his namesake, a hugely impactful historical figure, who bullishly shook Tokugawa Japan out of its 300-year peaceful isolation from the Western world, and set them on a course that greatly influenced world history.
Narco gets a wee bit of lumber in the slot and its time to change the rule book. Army gets a classic clothesline to the head and the rules dont apply. I hope the CHmoedore sinks his battleship tonite.
Picard will be traded today. I was for trading KidKo but am backing off. Nature boy is an untouchable and a known unknowable. Kidko has a ceiling higher and should have the size. Picard despite being a couple of years older has not demonstrated the Hockey IQ of our young dynamic duo. At this point I want to secure Dano in the 5 mill range, and hunker down for the long term. We dont need no stinking trade.
It was a dumb idea to mess with the current CHemistry. I hope Dano stays and gets every dollar he has coming to him. His intrinsic value is hard to over-estimate. --SiM
I'm sure the Jets looked at the sked and noticed they don't play the top team in the north til the end of February so could risk the 2 week wait for Jean Luc. So Chevaldayoff said Make it So!
Domi likes to pass and Laine likes to shoot so yeah...
Apparently Jean Luc's dad is a coach with Winnipeg's AHL team the Moose so that could have been a factor. I just think he hated Tort's guts and wanted out. Laine wanted ou of Winnipeg because Maurice wouldn't give him a top center. Weird. Can't we all just get along?
Oh dear, no putrid leaf on hockey night tonight, whatever will the fanboy talking heads discuss tonight? I'll bet THE TRADE bails them out about having to discuss how good the Habs are. Not that they would anyway. No, they'll find some way to get narcos into the conversation.
Looks like just under 2 minutes on Tyder and CHomo. No mention of anything else, standings, no regulation losses, nothing. And it looks like we get Hugeson for pbp 🤮

Glad to see CHommodore pot his first. You guys realize that's the furst time a Rocket Richard trophy winner has ever scored a goal for the Canadiens? Look it up. GYFHG --SIM
What gets me about these jerks is how they always pick out non calls for penalties they think the Habs should get. Even questioned a non icing call earlier.
Hey FHFriends! I've been watching on delay, another good effort for Les Habitant. Jed stepped up and settled the tab with Myers and scored in the empty net with the J.C. Tremblay special. Google it kids. Yep, the sfuckers were choking all night watching the Habs blow past their fucking leaf in the standings. See you later assholes. I agree about the Meat comment, fried-man knows fuck all about the Habs. Let him and the little leaf gerbil johnson dream about Kyle Dumbass' wheelings and dealings. Later FHFolks!
Both Kid Ko and Czar especially seem to be getting better every game. So I think its time to start to worry about cap space. Remember the good old days when we had 6 or 7 million to carry around, how can we get back there? I would offer both Dano and Tuna Taaatar 8 year deals at 3.5 each thats a 5 year at 5.6 M. Pay all the money up front as a bonus and its taxed at 15%. Basicly keep kicking the can down the road and let expected raises in the cap take care of the decimal places. I also think its time we had a franchise player exemption. Its stupid to have a so called professional league where 5 or 6 teams are essentially just black holes that develop players.
11PM and 1030PM - too late for this fella. Maybe 1 period. Actually considered taking Friday off and stay up late for the Thursday game, but I only get 7 weeks vacation...

ReplyDeleteThis doesn't need to be said but Go Oil!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not talking Keystone.
It seems simpleton has lost his leafool buddy hugeson to crisis cuthbertson. He's still sucking leaf cock.
ReplyDeleteThanks Oilers. Zero points for the fucking putrid laffs.
ReplyDeleteNice PK.
ReplyDeleteWell there. Mudryk confirmed that Tsar wants his name pronounced Ro-Man-Off
ReplyDelete1-0 Van

ReplyDeleteYep weird reffing.

Well a loser point is more than I thought they'd get after watching the 1st.
ReplyDeleteToffee (aka Tyder) with a hattie against his former team is nice.

ReplyDeleteToo many penalties and shitybreffing did us in. Move on... JUST FUCKING WIN BABY!
ReplyDeleteShit reffing
DeleteAnother too late start for me so I'll just say it now: STAY OUT OF THE PENALTY BOX FFS!!!
ReplyDeleteKidKo has to stop embellishment. I know he can stand up when a 220 lb d man crosschecks him in the face.
ReplyDeleteI hear and see that Le Habs are the only team in the Canadian Softbank Sociabank Rodgers Bell divison that can really play NHL defence.
ReplyDeleteI know how to take fewer penalties. Put on Leaf or Boston sweaters.
ReplyDeleteGenius!
Delete1 period for me tonight. Somehow figure out how to stay invisible to the refs and all should be good.
ReplyDeleteToffee!!!
ReplyDeleteTyder !
ReplyDeleteOy.
ReplyDeleteAnd the penalty box parade begins...
ReplyDeleteArmy!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom Tyder!
2-2
ReplyDeleteOh look a BS call to end the period. Might stick around for half the 2nd
ReplyDeleteShorty for Tyder!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTyder !
ReplyDeleteAnother shorty from Tyder! See coach? That's why we take so many penalties. GYFHG --SiM
ReplyDeleteSuch moronic reffing though. --SiM

ReplyDeleteI should hit the hay....but hell no!
ReplyDelete4 points in 8:05 TOI - GI Finn so far tonight. --SiM
ReplyDeleteSoG favours the Habs 30 to 10. --SiM
ReplyDeleteI think BBQ's shot just dislocated LB --SiM
ReplyDeleteLBI
DeleteFuck Tyler Myers --SiM
ReplyDeleteI guess that's one more D-man they won't have in the lineup for Saturday's game at least. He'll get at least two games' suspension. --SiM
DeleteFirst place baby.
ReplyDeleteLip with the tip and 2 points in the bank. Nice win boys, hope GI Finn isn't too badly concussed. Myers was a total fuckwad. --SiM
ReplyDeleteHope Army is ok.
ReplyDeleteDitto on GIJoel/Army's health. And I hope Myers isn't suspended for that hit. Prior to that he took 3 lazy penalties for interference. Just guessing.
HEY FUCK UNDEFEATED. Does the dance.
Go Habs
GI Finn concussed. Bring on Corey Perry.
DeleteI think Perry and Meat will be in for LB and Army.
ReplyDeletePerry will need a nickname. 'CP' is not to be considered.
CHommodore (see down-thread) --SiM
DeleteBaseball means little to me today (since 1994) but I will say that Hank Aaron, to me, was the Jean Beliveau of his sport and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteNo hearing for that POS Myers. Said contact was mostly body. Hmmm... Good job then or Army would be dead I suppose. Player safety is a joke! RIP Hank Aaron
ReplyDeleteThey base decisions on player's height.
DeleteJFC !
Keep your heads up Nucks.
DPS has been a farce forever. That said I still say we're better off with Myers in the lineup, being slow assed he took 3 minors aside from that hit.
ReplyDeleteY'all think Meat would go in at forward for LB? What about Frolik or Poehling?
Penalties will be flying.
DeleteLawsuits too, eventually (against the league). --SiM
DeleteMyers will not have a fun night tomorrow I bet. Take some good penalties, boys (not unlike good trouble) --SiM
I don't want any changes to the defence. This is why they signed Perry and Frolik.
ReplyDeleteIf the Habs stay out of the sin bin I don't see Van giving them much trouble. I wonder how many of the sfu leaf fanboy hacks saw the Habs coming home from a 6 game road trip with at least 8 points? Answer: none.
Let the tsar stew in his own juces on the third paring at least till the playoffs.
DeleteNo suspension no fine for headhunting in the NHL, fuck you Buttman
ReplyDeleteFrontier justice is the only answer. Unfortunately there is no one tall enough on the Habs to concuss Myers. Gonna have to take out a knee...
DeletePart of the NHL's explanation was: "the head was NOT [emphasis: theirs] main point of contact..."

ReplyDeleteNo need to think about it anymore, Jean-Luc off to the 'Peg. I wonder if he will like it there more than Columbus? No Torts at least.

ReplyDeleteNice.

CHomo for short?!
ReplyDelete22 minutes of airtime on the pre-game show. I have the over under at 3 minutes 30 seconds of airtime related to the Habs. That would be a LOT...

ReplyDeleteI would offer both Dano and Tuna Taaatar 8 year deals at 3.5 each thats a 5 year at 5.6 M.
Congrats to TFS on his 350th win.
ReplyDeleteHave we reached I've Cream yet?.
ReplyDeleteI kinda feel like I need to contribute. Haven't had ice cream in ages!
