With the hair and clothing styles that pic has the 70s written all over it!

  3. Just fucking win boys. I love that pic of the big 3 leaving the forum. Serge looks like the Don with Pointu as his hit man and Big bird as the muscle that fucks up anyone who messes with any of his friends. Has anyone called Tarantino about this?

    1. Tarantino's classic Habs 1978 revisionist historical film would be an absolute beaut. --SiM

    2. Nice. I could see Scorsese do a fun Habs mob flic but Tarantino FTW.

  4. I’m a Winnipegger so the Habs need to win these next 2 games. I’m tired of getting texts from my sister. GYFHG!

    2. The thing that pisses me off is, she was a Bruins fan in the 70’s when I was growing up. And now “suddenly” a Jets fan like most of this city.
If you wanna cheer for the hometown it’s fine, but don’t switch allegiances and jump on the bandwagon

    3. The Weakerthans were a great underrated band. Peggers and Minneapolitans eh?

  5. Great play by Powerhorse.

  6. Cole Caufiield only with the late tying goal and OT winner for the Badgers tonight. Ho hum.

  7. Rough start but not a bad period. Legs are moving, creating turnovers. Nice slide by Kulak to prevent an A-1 scoring chance. KK is looking so good.

  8. What happened to the 9 pm start time? Guess I missed a pretty passing play with KidKoho finishing. Oh well, GYFHG!

  9. Penalty shot. Cash it, Lip!

  10. TFS being TFS-ish on Connor just before the Tyder/Toffee show. Good times.

    1. When slumping it's 'usually' only one softie per game. Let's hope that still stands.

Man, I can't remember the last time I saw a three on none. Thank God Toffee didn't try to pass, what a sweet fucking move he put one Hell Boy.

I don't know who these guys are but they are not the same bunch that played in Calgary.

  13. Hey Moe and M, lots of moves in NFL Free agency. Not crazy about another year of Cam, but picked up lots of offence to help out so he'll actually have receivers this year.

  14. Sevans did not return after getting boarded, did he. Like we have centremen to spare. -_-

I thought on the replay it looked like Stanley lined him up and left his feet, which would have been 5 and a game if KidKoho was in his skates, but for a guy who's name is on every Cup, is that why he gets away with it?

    1. Sevans is on the bench! GYFHG!!

    2. Agreed. He left his feet. Should have been a penalty

  15. Fuck! Perfect shot. Hang on boys!!

  16. He didn't score, but Nature sure looked like he's got his confidence back on that shot.

  17. I'm gonna say I really like Kyle Connor. Love his style of play and great shot.
He's from the McJesus draft year. We got Jewel in the 1st round that year. I think Lucas VeggieTomato is the only potential prospect left...though he's likely a career AHL player

Cole Caufield is going to score goals like that for Montreal. Hopefully soon.

    3. Big goals too. Tying goal and OT goal in a game for all the marbles today! Big time impressive clutch scoring. Hope it translates to the NHL.

  18. Speaking of PFK, I’m lovin the way Czar lines them up a la PFK

  19. ClenCHed a bit but nice win.

  20. This was a gut check win for the team, especially the young Centers. Kadillak's best game too? Munster and X-Man and Czar. Well done, les boys, well done.

  21. so our chariot has a broken right tyre. even before that match, i was already curious why players these days dont toss off their helmets when chucking fists. they throw off their gloves but only to strike eachother's concrete plastic? doesnt make sense to me.

eureka! then somebody told me its a rule now. my reaction was OMG. huh? WTF? and then i vaguely remember its b/c some guy fell backwards in a fight and hit his head pretty badly. so this comes back to the situation we are in now....

Q: how is it any good to fight with bare hands on a piece of petrified polyetheline?
A1: how about fighting with an open hand? would a series of hard girly slaps against the helmet sufficiently send the msg to lunkheads like meyers and lucic?
    A2: fight with gloves on?
A3: stupid rule, ergo nhl wins. dont fight?

  22. Thrilling win, TFS might like one of those two non greasy goals from KFC back. Tuna between the legs.

  23. A good looking win and no collapse when Wini got the 2nd goal = impressed a bit. But they now need to do it again on Wednesday night to make this little victory mean anything. Bring TFS right back for a 2nd game - he was setting himself nicely and purposely (is that a word?) after each stop - and if I'm not mistaken, his GAA is pretty TFS-like since he had his early season melt-down

If they could play like that on a consistent basis they would make some noise. They looked like the walking dead in Calgary.

  25. Lb on waivers again. Don't imagine anybody will touch him with his $3.4M salary.

Another late start. Probably get the 1st period in. I hope they play with the same energy they did the last game.
