I 'think' that goal is my first real hockey memory. I was 10 and allowed to stay up for the game. I watched plenty of hockey before that and have general memories. This is the first pure 'moment' that I can recall. I still get CHills every time I watch it.
Douche-harm claims the reason Czar isn't in tonight's line-up is his equipment was late to arrive and he just got on his skates yesterday for the first time in over a week. What a lame excuse! With BS answers like that, it's no wonder the vets aren't listening and staying off the ice at every opportunity.
But anyway, Dish and Leko and many ithers are back so GYFHG!!
I swear I just saw EAP get shoved from behind dangerously, head first into the boards (no call), immediately followed by Chariots of Eggs throw a perfect check at McAvoy ...and get called for Roughing?
Hey, just tuned in just in time to see ratface get his hat trick goal. With Full Monty in goal looks like the tank continues unabated. When Molson no longer has to pay Jabba $5mil a year at the end of the season, I fully expect douche to get the Joe Judge treatment. DD can't coach worth a tinkers darn.
I can appreciate the Pezzetta story as much as the next guy, but putting him out on the PP instead of CC is just ridiculous. This string of coaches in Montreal, going all the way back to chokula, seem to despise the idea of scoring goals. I can't figure it out.
I'll bet Ben Chiarot and a few others can't wait to be traded to a team with a real coach and some structure. What ever douche-arm is coaching should be called 'the clusterfuck'.
I might have to make the Vikings my 'NFC team' if this happens:
"The Minnesota Vikings have requested permission to interview Canadian-born Philadelphia Eagles executive Catherine Raiche for their vacant general manager's job, according to multiple reports. The 32-year-old Montreal native...Raiche rose to co-ordinator of football administration and assistant GM with the Als..."
Just realized that of the 7 Canadian teans, only one is poised to make the playoffs right now. Maybe the Northern Div. of last season was an easy one to win. Maybe even with all the vets back from that run - and healthy - it was only TFS that made us better than mediocre.
Hockey? Me no understand?

Oh man that picture of Guy is not good. Be well Guy. Go you fucking Habs Go!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, get better Guy!
ReplyDeleteAnd FUCK cancer.
Apparently Habs have a Potluck tonight or something...
ReplyDeleteRem Pitlick claimed off waivers from Minnesota...I have to share my joke I posted on the Twitter:
ReplyDeleteMakes sense that REM would go to Montreal where 'Everybody Hurts' and "It's the End of the World as we Know it".
That's goddamn perfect! He'll be losing his religion any minute now.
DeleteHey, what's your Twitter handle? I'm @randboro
DeleteI think I already follow you. I'm not that active on twitter.

I expect vintage Dish, the Royal Daulton edition.
ReplyDeleteHoff could not be less interested in checking Ratface. Oh fuck another one ..
ReplyDeleteAaaand, enough of that.
ReplyDeleteRemind me why Anyone was upset when Chariots of Fire was injured or in Covid protocol?
ReplyDeleteWow... Armia out for a skate just left Marchand all to himself... Fuuuuuuuuk
ReplyDeleteI swear I just saw EAP get shoved from behind dangerously, head first into the boards (no call), immediately followed by Chariots of Eggs throw a perfect check at McAvoy ...and get called for Roughing?
ReplyDeletePEZ!!!!
ReplyDeleteFitting that a lion-hearted guy like Pez pots his first goal as a Hab against the Broons.

ReplyDeletePezzy with a very good shot... No shuttie zfkr the Bs
ReplyDeleteHabs have hit 3 posts tonight

ReplyDeletePEZ out there only for his size. But yeah, Whiskey and Hoff ought to both be out there.
DeleteThe more I see of him the mot I like Pez. Kinda KidA lite...
ReplyDeleteChrisfuckinglee starting to take this game over
ReplyDeleteHabs always play one guy too much on the PP... This season it us Druid. Has not had a PP goala on 3 years but gets top pp minutes every game
ReplyDeleteAs Desharnais was to AF, so...
DeleteThat's me gone... Just fucking win. Go Habs Go. MERCI MOE. GEY WELL GUY. #FUCKCANCER
ReplyDeleteThis Habs team is monumentally bad. Who would have thought that Carey Price, Shea Weber, Corey Perry and Phil Danault would have meant that much.
ReplyDeleteI don't see much worth saving on this bunch. I hope Jeff Gorton has a photocopy of the letter he sent out from the Rangers and is getting it updated.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Ben Chiarot and a few others can't wait to be traded to a team with a real coach and some structure. What ever douche-arm is coaching should be called 'the clusterfuck'.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. A recipe for getting scored on at least five times every game, and getting zero sustained play in the offensive zone.
DeleteThe way things Re going, Chariot needs to not be plhdainf lest he get injured.
DeleteDead last in the league now. Another team record (most teams ever to be higher in the standings than the Habs: 31).

ReplyDeleteThank you desert dogs for 1) beating the wretched leaf and 2) accelerating Dumbcharm's removal.
