Nice tip by Munster and great pass by MoneyHab. He just keeps putting up points and KH rubbing his hands in glee.

  4. I forgot Coach Luke went to Chicago. Wonder if he's thinking it would've been nice to have this crop of young dmen when he was with the Habs?

  5. 2 weak clearing attempts by Lep lead to that goal. He owes Full Monty.

  6. Nature! Restores the lead.

  7. An elbow to the face that knocks a player to the ice is not a penalty apparently.

  18. Also too. Before being put on the 14+22 line, Dach was ripped to shreds by the Montreal media as a wste. They went so far as to call him a duck. Some serious fucked up clowns at both tva and RDS. benoit brunet was the worst. He's like a fat tremblay.

I don't know how benoit ever got a chair at RDS. His entire career was play first week of the year and get hurt and out, every year that I remember. I'll listen to Carbo and Vinney but benoit?
It's like trying to listen to maxim laTurtle at TVA. Anyway the RDS broadcast is still better than anything anglais out of hogtown. So happy for the Kerbster to put it away in the barn that dumped him. Side note, Slavvy had better learn to keep his head up, course he's doing better than nose out of joint Write who has been dumped into backwater who knows where.
      Go Habs

@CHester, nose-out-of-joint Write is currently playing in the Coachella Valley, California, wherever that is. When he finishes his 'conditioning' stint there he will be headed to St. Stephen N.B. for more 'conditioning' with Team Canada before heading to Moncton, then Halifax, N.S. I'm having mixed feelings about watching any of that tournament. I didn't watch a minute of the one in Edmonton last August amid all the Hockey Canada controversy.

Brian Wilde quoted a French reporter saying he heard Habs management may be a little unsettled about the team playing themselves out of a top 10 pick. I don't know, maybe KH can fleece another team like he did Chi-town.

I wouldn't trade Sean MoneyHab to a contender, you want a higher pick than that. He's only 28 years old, I would consider signing him to a 5 year deal if he's amicable.

  19. Martin St-Louis on Kirby Dach: "Kirby is 21; there's no way that much talent at 21 you're ready to give up on anybody."

I did not know that rds and tva were ripping Kirby, are you fucking kidding me? When Hughes pulled that trade off at the Draft I literally couldn't believe that Chicago would give him away for almost nothing. Romanov was a decent defender but at best a #4 ? And the 13th pick, that's a big gamble.
Benny must have rocks in his head.
I got hit hard with a bad cold 4 weeks ago, still not 100% over it. Also, I found out I do need a knee replacement but I'm going to hold off for as long as possible, my back surgery from 5 years ago is still fresh in my memory.

  21. I see the NHL has totally given up on trying to pretend they aren't favouring the leaf. Three goals against called off one game and their goalie knocks the net off three times without repercussions the next game. Must be nice.

Danger Danger Will Robertson. We are sitting in the 12 spot at Thanksgiving, at the minum we need to be in the 8 spot come draft day. Hugo knows this. What kind of tank command will he give the troops?

    1. Not to alarm you Steve but they're actually 17 spots from the bottom. But there is a lot of hockey left, and while no player will actually throw a game as much as we joke about tank commanders, HuGo on the other hand will start making moves probably around the holidays. As injuries pile up and we move along in the season, cap flexibility gets a little better so teams can absorb new contracts. I'll never cheer for the team to lose but I predict they end up around 10th from the bottom. They also get FLA's pick who are in nearly the same spot right now....and I'd bet at least one more first round pick via trade. Don't sit back hoping for the next great one to save us (ask the Oilers fans) but rather trust that Hughes will use his smarts and draft capital to improve this team significantly in the next year or two. 2025 is my cup dream.

I agree with Saint Paddy, I still think Montreal will be a bottom 10 team at the end. They play 11 road games in December vs 4 home games. This two game win streak was against two real tank teams so I'm not too excited. That being said I am enjoying every win and every SuzCaufDach goal.

Watched the tribute to Borje Salming, not going to trash the SFU because they did a really good job on Guy's tribute last spring. I remember watching some of those playoff games between the leaf and the Broad Street Bullies in the early 70's and Salming took some awful beatings. However, in 1976 the Philthy Phuckers reign of terror was over when the Montreal Canadiens ended that nonsense courtesy of Larry Robinson, Pierre Bouchard and Rick Chartraw.

I remember when Larry slapped Dave Shultz around during one of those bench clearing moments that helped bring an end to those goons
That and the hit he layed on dornhoffer
      They were an anomaly
With unstable crazy hex in nets
      Merica on ice
      Go Habs
