  2. What a shocker! Toronto calls the clear offside (as close as it was) onside and a good goal vs the Habs.
    Shocked I say, shocked!

    What's up guys?

Three day layoff throwing things off?

    That Powerless play is pathetic.

Sharks absolutely deserve to win this game. What a pathetic effort. Tank is back on.

  13. I've heard Mudryk say " He shoots and just wide!" so much tonight it feels like 2018.

  16. I have more dangerous play at lawn bowling than what our Habs have shown tonight. Mailed-in, mistly.

  17. A lame duck effort. Somewhere, Steve is rejoicing the tank effort.

Today, MSL either bag skates them or lines them all up for a swift kick in the butt.

What the heck was that 5 on 3 all about? A passing drill? No excuse for that foolishness.

The Habs needed some 'Bat-Shark Repellent' last night. Only those of a certain vintage will get that.

  21. Becoming a one line team and the PP still sucks. Rebuilds take time.

This is true. At look at the standings shows there are a bunch of teams ready to motor past Montreal. They should easily get that top 10 pick.

It would not be the first time I was called mentaly challanged, but why not send the whole rookie team to the farm, win the cup? The real team can suck it up, get at great draft pick and then start the rebuild next year with four or five elite players.

  25. Holy shit. Kris Letang is out indefinitely after having a stroke. Wishing him a full recovery. Get well soon.

    1. That's scary. Stroke risk is elevated for people post-Covid. Did he ever?

Letang had a stroke previously, 2014 I believe? He should consider retirement, you don't fool around with that stuff.

I'm probably in the minority, but I would offer Monahan an extension, he is too good to trade away for a 1st round pick likely to be in the 30s, Colorado for example. He can lead (and grow) with Habs for many years yet. Only 28, he has some good miles left on him and his hips seem to be fine. He can actually help insulate Suzuki on defensive duties. I would give Monahan Slaf and PHorse on the wings and see if they can develop some chemistry.
