I admit I quit last night, but the Habs didn't and shame on me for bailing. But, it was getting late here (for me) and I was recording the game anyway.
Montreal are going to have some difficult decisions to make on the back end in the near future. One decision I would make is to replace Barron with AX for now. JB makes way too many mistakes, especially his fumbling of the puck at the opposing blueline. Enough of that nonsense. Strobe is a force to be reckoned with, he has to stay up.
I also recognize that Slafkovsky seems to have found his game and his place in the lineup. His boards play has become outstanding of late, I wish he would shoot a little more though. So far he has proven me wrong and he has developed much quicker than Wright. Well done.
I hope HuGo hangs on to his vets, MoneyHab and Big Play Dave seem to really settle this team down. If the Habs are still within sight of a wildcard spot they are more valuable than some future 2nd round pick. But, if a solid offer comes for either Jake or Primeau I would take it. The Habs are laughing right now at teams like the leaf, Oilers or Carolina with their shitty goaltending.
Speaking of Carolina, that's the one team I really want to beat on the next segment of the road trip. I despise that garbage franchise and their social media twits after the whole offer sheet fiasco.
So, Merry Christmas to all FHFers and safe travels for moe !
I'm feeling pretty positive about things as the Habs head into the Christmas break. Nice win in Chicago. NRFPT needs to keep working on his glove hand but I say if the offer comes for Alain, you make that happen and bet the farm on Monty. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals! GYFHG!
The Stay, if the roadies dont mind I will make a comment. Merry Christmas, and Go Habs Go. I know its a destination. You have to be Mark Z to publish a commet here now
The world is now back to normal after the Christmas holiday. We spent Christmas day at my oldest boy's place with the youngest one and his GF there as well and all 3 grandchildren of course. We watched Home Alone and had the turkey dinner and then celebrated the younger son's birthday as well! A long day but well worth it. We crashed all day yesterday but I managed to watch the Canada/Finland game.
I hope everyone had a great holiday as well!
Check out Stu Cowan's article in the Gazette about a young man with Down syndrome and his friendship with Sam Montembeault. HuGo made the right choice signing this guy.
Off to QC for a few days.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and stay safe everyone !
